Sophie felt rather lost in the mass of children she didn't know. Not only did she feel little, most of them already knew each other...it was a little intimidating. She did catch sight of Chris, however, who she had met at the mall. She gave a small wave hin his direction. She was tempted to go and see him more closely, since she was easily passed over by the other excited kids, but feared being rude.
Rye barely paid any attention. "Are you ready Sophie?" she murmured, seeming far more excited then the little girl, "This will be so much fun!" She began to untie their scroll and though Sophie was learning her alphabet and such at a fair rate she wasn't near ready to read it herself.

Shade looked around. Two babies and him weren't that likely to win the treasure hunt, so he didn't mind taking his time. He grinned as he caught sight of a mother with yet another pretty little baby girl. "Wanna walk now, buddy?" he asked Chris.
"Okay!" Chris said, dropping down from his back and looking around. He waved as he caught sight of Sophie. She could join them! Then there'd be more of them to look for the lion!
Antony looked at Delilah, then back at the scroll. "Then shall we?" he asked her, offering his arm.

"Yes, please." Demurely, she took his arm. Where she learned such a genteel gesture from was anyone's guess; neither Kova or Kiet were the sort to watch period pieces or encourage random bouts of chivalry. She smiled in direction of Shade and the smaller children (well, mostly Shade). "Antony will take good care of me, Mr. Shade," she announced. Then, without another word, she nudged her escort into motion.

"You have the tiniest bladder like ever," the redheaded girl accused Irelia, but scanned the paper again nonetheless. Jace's eyes narrowed, scanning it with fresh enthusiasm. "Actually, yeah, bathroom sounds good. Or like a big lion statue. Let's go find the bathroom so you stop doing a pee-pee dance."

"I can't help it if I've gotta go! And I gotta goooooo!" Irelia lunged in to the building, having no idea where the bathroom was. Opening the first door she came to, Irelia was met with success.
"Yessssss!"
Closing the door, Irelia quickly did her business, and opened the door to Jace.
"I closed my eyes so i wouldn't see if the lion was in here. Lets take a look."
The lovely sound of the toilet finishing flushing was heard behind her.

"Oohhh~! Sophie, darling, do you know that boy?" Rye beamed and regardless of what her young charge wanted she glided over to shade at the other strange looking toddler. Not that she really noticed. Rye got into so many things that strange just wasn't...strange anymore. "Hello! Let's work together, shall we? Where do you young ones want to go first?"
Sophie followed after her mother. She gave Christ a small wave, but didn't answer her mother's question. It'd be polite to let Chris pick first...she didn't know why, she just thought she shouldn't just...assume where he wanted to go. Those manner tv shows said take turns. He could have his turn first.

"We go that way!" Chris said as the others joined them. He was pointing at the shrine, or in that general direction.
"If you ladies don't mind?" Shade asked them politely.
"So..." Antony said to Delilah. "I think... the library, perhaps? If we can find it, that is. I've always wanted to see a temple's library."

Delilah smiled prettily and nodded. "I suppose it's as good a place to start as any," she agreed. Then, as if reading his mind, she added, "I've never seen a shrine library... If it's not there, could we look in the gardens, though?"

Sophie nodded. That sounded like a good idea...besides, it didn't seem to be the same place the bigger kids were going. If they were looking for something...it was best they not look in the same place. Peeking at the map, however, she felt her mouth twist a little in uncertainty. She still didn't like the idea of hunting for treasure...wasn't that what pirates did? It was a little scary...or something.
"Sounds lovely!" Rye agreed warmly, flashing a smile at the children and completely ignoring the look that Sophie seemed to be giving her.
