I dated one once. It wasn't fun. Not at all. Not in the least. I almost lost my original copy of Final Fantasy Tactics and Metal Gear Solid in one night, and she took my Vagrant Story and Suikoden III!

WHY THE ******** AM I APPARENTLY THE ONLY FEMALE IN THIS GUILD?!?!?!
That is NOT true! (Even if it is a very flattering thought). I'm not hot or super hot or whatever that first post said, and yhet I am a girl gamer. (& no I'm not posting a picture of myself to prove this) I have severeal chick friends who are gamers and they range from average to pretty just like anyone. yes there are gamer chick who are incredibly gorgeous but not all of us are.

Griggle990 I heard that gamer chicks don't like to say that they are gamers to other people. They often keep to themsevs as a secret. Not the ones I know. I know that often they're in the minorities and sometimes they're ridiculed by non-gamer girls, but I've never heard of one hiding their hobby.

Zombicide Nice, indeed. But, let me add something here: the term "gamer girl" generally translates into "fangirl in disguise". Most of them are Final Fantasy/Legend of Zelda fanatics who would suicide-bomb an airport is they found out someone in that airport didn't like Final Fantasy. Also, I've pwned "gamer girls" in Halo millions of times over. All they are for me is shotgun fodder. mrgreen However, if the chick is either blonde or brunette, and likes Doom or Contra or any of the games I like, I'll give it a shot. whee

Wanting to lose? I bet she expects to be praised for knowing how to open/close the PS2, too. talk2hand To be honest, whenever I enter a server in any online game and it's full of these so called "gamer girls" who are mostly just fangirls in disguise, I expect them to lose. They generally suck, and for me, here's the rule: "gamer girl"=either shotgun fodder, or instant frag. Or sometimes KO. Trust me, I've murdered countless fangirls in Tekken, Doom, Halo........pretty much every game I've played. Not that I'm doubting you or any of the girls in this guild (yeah, raise your hands, all 2 of you) but when I see a gamer girl, I generally consider them fangirls, since most of them are obsessed with Final Fantasy. Last time I ever saw a true "gamer girl" in person was at an arcade, when I saw this girl playing Metal Slug 3.......and she was quite good at it, might I add. xD

But, when she does come, everyone treats it as a religious experience and wets themselves out of pure excitement. @Daxelman: Hey, us New Yorkers are always worried about our airports getting bombed. But to be honest, I'm more scared that I might get jumped by Final Fantasy fans rather than attacked by terrorists.....

At Zombicide, the crazy FF fans aren't that big in numbers. The worshipers. Halo has more than Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy never stole Game of the Year from Half-Life 2 because not enough reviewers bother with PC games. Seriously, Halo 2 is not better than Half-Life 2.
Also, most "gamer" girls play DS/Wii and/or Sims/WoW/free PC games.

Or did you just want an excuse to buy a Pink DS? You'll never know... I've seen girl Yu-gi-oh players. One me and Ace honestly weren't 100% sure if she was a girl. She was quite a specimen. We were scared of her. We call her 'it'. *shudders*
Come to think of it many of them (we went to a comic shop to play Pokemon cards..) were strange. We walked in and everyone playing stared at us. No we weren't obnoxiously older than them either. We were like "Why are they staring at us?"
