He took the little crumbly arm with two fingers. "Thank you." He said crisply and bit a chunk out.

After a while of chewing, he sulkily noted it "tastes like gingerbread" and settled on the carpet, nibbling on the rest of it.

Io would have fainted again if it would have suited him. This was all just too new and too weird to him.

Ganymede was amazed! He could regenerate! What fun! Oh the scaring possibilities he could have on Io and Callisto if they found him without his head off.

Callisto awoke to find herself not eaten. She had heard little pieces of Maxwell's nasty speech about regenerating and tasting like gingerbread. She was rather confused and decided to just pretend to be dead so as not to stir Mawell's hungry curiosity again.

Triane nodded instead of replying to Philomena. Afterall, Maxwell had already said his name for him and saying it again seemed unecessarily redunt. Or so, he thought to justify his shyness.

He looked from Mena to Maxwell to Mena again. How strange the things on their heads were! They looked fluffy and soft. They looked like ears, but Triane wasn't sure. He stretched out his arms to touch Philomena's ears to see if they were as soft as they looked, but he quickly retracted them, reminding himself how odd it would seem to the others if he were to touch them all of a sudden.

Colton's shoulders seemed to hunch in on themselves; he'd never been told that he wasn't cute before. The small boy was going to protest, but kept his mouth shut. Until he saw the demonstration with Maxwell and Demi's ginger Byte. His mouth hung open and the puppy boy looked down at the small critter in his arms. He only half-heard 'Mena's words about being nice and regeneration; Colton's mind was set on one thing: lime.

Prodding Ganymede, he leaned down and sniffed him, whispering, "Do you really taste like lime?" quietly so that nobody else would hear (Or at least tried to make it quiet enough so no one would hear). The boy's tongue stuck out the side of his mouth, but he knew it was rude to do something without asking permission first.

He was only slightly interested in the bird boy who came in (though Colt assured himself that he'd have a thorough sniff of the other male when he finished with the small green Byte in his arms). "Colton," he said, waving. "Nice meeting ya."

"If I were a dog no one would be complaining." He said soberly. "I'd be so delightfully friendly and pleasant. You're all prejudiced. And I bet you won't let me touch your ears either."

He turned to the feathered one and his ears perked. "You can touch mine too! Mine are a different shape." He thought about it and revealed his ulterior motive, clasping his paws together. "May I touch your feathers?"

Maxx told him that being 'cute' got him nowhere because it was unbelievable. Belle regularly defied the statement, so perhaps Triane would too.

Triane looked from Mena's ears to Maxwell's.
They looks similar enough and yet so different.

Triane brushed his fingers against Philomena's ears. 'Oh' he let out quietly, surprised at how soft they were. How exciting this place seemed to be already!
"Thank you" Triane added.
Letting go of her ears, Triane wheeled around to face Maxwell. Ruffling his feathers a bit, Triane stretched his arms to the ears on top of Maxwell's head , not quite reaching, because of the height difference. Tip-toeing, Triane brought his hands closer to the ears now within reach.


"You.. you can touch them if you want too." He squeaked, eyeing Maxwell's paws. Would they be as soft as Philomena's ears too? "You can too, if you want" He added to Philomena, smiling. After all, Triane was proud of his feathers. Ana was always the only one that stroked his feathers, but he wanted to see if Maxwell and Mena's paws were as soft as they looked.

Noah pulled up outside of hytech as Gable poked his head out of the window of the car full of anticipation, meeting new Hytes and people was terribly exciting. Noah got out and opened the door for Gable who bounded eagerly towards the door through which Quincy and Jules were walking. Noah followed at a slower pace [though it should be noted that when it comes to Gable's energy level anything short of a full out run is slow paced]. Gable streaked through the doors past Quincy and went into a somersault past Triane and came to a halt hitting Maxwell's legs.

Ganymede nodded his head, although sad that the puppy boy didn't want him exclusively.

Io's practically fell out of his head as a lion cub came bounded into the room!!

Callisto finally reached Colton and Ganymede and blinked with horror as the pup licked Ganymede from head to toe!
