Tobi is Uchiha Madara because Obito was killed by boulders crushing him.. (i've read the manga. It is pimp! Although i felt so bad for kakashi and his other team mate rin.)

Tobi is Madara.
Madara has used his mangekyou so much that his gone blind in one eye for the millionth time. (he 'resets' his eyes by taking anothers sharingan. Thats what Itachis is doing with Sasuke.) Seeing how he's blind in one eye, he dosn't need to see out of it. Madaras also half-demon, giving him eernal youth. Also, Itachi was talking about how madara helped with the uchiha slaughter (still don't know why.), and explained how madaras Enternal mangekyou worked.
That is my current theroy of Madara.
Also, to pwn all tho n00bs who think Tobi is Obito...
OBITO GOT CRUSHED ON HIS RIGHT SIDE BY A TWO TON BOULDER!!
Even if he DIDN'T get owned by the boulder, the rest of the rocks would have crushed him. If THAT isn't enought to prove Obito can't be Tobi, then listen. Obitos ENTIRE right side got crushed, including his eye.

well it actually never says that Madara is Tobi, it says he has the power and that Madara was the only other user of the Mangekyo Sharingan, and that it is a permanent Mangekyo, meaning he can use it all the time and not go blind. when it is shown that Tobi has the Sharingan, he doesnt have the Mangekyo shown, if he did and it was Madaras Mangekyo, then that would be proof that he is Madara. but it doesnt so for know, i dont have an opinion, for me it could go either way, it never showed Obito die, he only had his right side crushed, and it didnt show him die, Kakashi and Rin walked away before he died. so he could still be alive and he could be Tobi because, Zetsu could have been watching and thought he could go eat Obito's dead body, but upon arival, he say he was still alive and got the rocks off and saw he had the Sharingan, so he couldve brought him to Kakuzu to fix him up and to give him the mask to cover his demented face, because it says there are pins on Obito's right side of his body, meaning his right side was "pinned together". so it is possible for Tobi to be either Madara or Obito. i have no opinion untill i see the truth...

Tobi (トビ) is a former subordinate of Zetsu. After Sasori's death, Tobi takes his ring, position, and partner (Deidara) in Akatsuki, thereby becoming a full member. Tobi's personality is at odds with the standard amongst Akatsuki members; while most are dedicated and serious, Tobi is more carefree and goofy. These personality traits tend to irritate Deidara, who often attacks Tobi in a comical fashion whenever Tobi unintentionally annoys him. Kisame Hoshigaki, on the other hand, appreciates Tobi's ability to brighten up their "gloomy organization".
After Deidara's suicidal final attack against Sasuke, which Zetsu speculates might have also killed his partner, Tobi is shown to be alive and giving orders to Pain, until then the ostensible leader of Akatsuki. During their conversation, he refers to himself as Madara Uchiha. As Madara, Tobi's personality and speech become completely different, with much less formal diction and a more typically 'villainous' arrogance. It seems, however, that he still has some vested interest in maintaining the illusion of himself as the carefree Tobi: when he encounters a group of Konoha ninja, he returns to his former personality, jokingly offended by the "unfairness" of being outnumbered eight to one. Significantly, he is less overtly cowardly, mocking Naruto's attempt to sneak attack him and warning the Konoha ninja against underestimating him as merely "annoying", even under their advantageous conditions.
Tobi's actual appearance remains a complete mystery, except for a wild shock of black hair. I believe its Madara Uchiha with the body of Obito Uchiha. I believe he was able to transfer his soul into Obito's body through some sort of jutsu that is yet to be revealed.
