Gravechylde PandasRGr1mm Well, a part of my bands lyrics deals with French and American Revolitions so I guess my band is trying to pioneer Revolution Metal. I doubt it signifies as a genre if only one band is doing it though. No, it wouldn't make a new genre, but it is an interesting concept. What genre is the band? From what we have now and where we wanna go, it's a ambient black metal project. We also incorporate Folk in some songs.

Warrior of Metal Besides Running Wild, are there any other "Pirate Metal" bands? Alestorm. But i would call it Folk with a different style of singing.

Well, it turns out to be a more Slavic oriented type of Folk since those types of melodies come more naturally to me. With those melodies we have lyrics about trolls and bog spirits. As soon as we are able to get some drums, we'll begin to save up for recording stuff. I won't have to make double-bass with my mouth anymore.
