"What now?" After Kuja came into his life, Blair had been doing reserch on how to take care of children as h had never been that good with kids. The most frusterating thing about this was that most of the books he had stolen or borrowed didn't help very muc. In fact, they did just the opposite, confusing the imp to the point of being tempted to use all the materials as tinder. It was a battle of instinct (which hadn't failed Blair after years of relying on it) versus professional, human, parenting.
One night, after a particularly difficult debate over Kuja's teen years, Blair slamed his book shut and haphazardly threw it over his shoulder. "What do I do...?" he whispered to himself in frusteration, scratching his head. " How can I make this kid turn out right?" Blair grabbed the navy blue mug full of coffee, suddenly, a cry emerged from the next room. Growling slightly, Blair made his way over to the room and walked in.
The room was small, but still a good sized room for a child of Kuja's age. It was furnished with a bookshelf, a dresser drawer, some toys were scattered across the floor, the walls were painted a deep skyblue. Kuja lay in his bed, squirming and wimpering. Blair sihed and went over, trying to rouse the boy.
"Kuja, wake up." He cooed, softy, the lavender haired toddler opened his eyes.
"Daddy?" He murmered sleepily.
"Are you okay?"
"Bad dream..." He whipped some tears away from his cheeks.
"About what?" A pause, the boy shrugs after moment, Blair coudn't help but chuckle. "Are you okay now, or do you want to sleep in my room?" The boy nodded and Blair couldn't help but feel a little more confident.

"Eggs!" Blair walked into the child's room, craddling something wrapped in a towel, a bit of the yellow cloth fell away reveling a bit of the white shell, the toddler looked up with curiosity.
"What's dat?"He asked jabbing a fingure towards the object.
"Umm...It's an egg..."Blair replied, placing the egg in box, the placing the box on a higher shelf.
"What 'egg'?"Kuja asked, testing the new word out.
"Something that...Umm...Something comes out of?"He answered, searching for the simplest explanation he can think up.
"What'll come outta it?"
"Uhh...I really don't know."Blair scratched the back of his head."But when it does hatch-"Kuja cut him off.
"What's 'hatch'?"He blinked.
"When the thing comes out of it."Blair cleared his throught."When it comes you it'll be your own, I think your old enough now."He kneeled down and ruffled the small boy's hair a bit.
"When 'ill it 'hatch'?"
"The lady said next week."Blair lifted the small boy out of his crib."C'mon on, let's go make breakfast."
"What for breakfas'?"
"Eggs..."Blair said flatly, the toddler looked like he was going to cry.
"Wha' abou' the thin' in!?"He sobbed.
"I was kidding!"Blair smiled nervously."H-hey calm down!"

"But it's Art!" A scribble of black, a line of blue and his masterpiece was complete. Kuja grinned and placed the crayon back in the box, stepping back to admire his work. A storm of colors now decorated the formerly white wall and Blair was anything but happy...
"Kuja what're you doing?"He asked, arms crossed, a from coming across his features.
"Colorin'!"He beamed.
"Oh my wall?"
"Issa mooral!"He toddled over and spread his arms over the wall, as though hugging it.
"It's...uhh...Nice."Blair's glasses slid down his nose as he sighed.'Great...The kid's an artist...I really need to get some new cleaning supplies now...'He thought exasperated, pushing his glasses back up his nose.
"No like?"Tears formed in the boy's ice-blue eyes.
"Uh...I love it! It's uhh..."Blair frantically scratched the back of his head, searching for an excuse."Please use paper..."He finally said and the boy started crying.
"Waaah! I jus' wanna daw!"He rubbed his eyes."I wanna daw!"
"O-okay! Calm down sweetie!"He cooed, scooping his son up in his arms."It's okay, you can draw, you can draw."He rubbed the back of the boy's head soothingly for a while, trying to calm him down.
"C-c-can I daw?"He asked, still sobbing a little, but much more calm than earlier.
"Yeah, you're very good..."He stood up, tossing the boy up in the air a little as he did."c'mon kiddo, let's find you some better things to draw with, other than a wall."

"Angi-Chan!" Kuja poked at the little white creature. He brushed his hands against the soft, gold, warm mohawk of the creature. The small creature didn't seem to mind the child's touch, in fact it seemed to enjoy it if anything. It let out a small, squeeky purr. "Angi-chan!" The boy called in delight. He hugged the little gold and white pet, which flew without wings onto floor in front of him, shaking it's head a little. "Your names' Angie-Chan!" He pet the small creature gently like Blair had shown him. "Got it?" Angie-Chan just flopped over, making the chil giggle.
