Poop. I'm torn - the kitty I want at the Humane Society (Charlotte) is currently in heat and they haven't finished deworming her, so I can't bring her home and I can't even bring the hubby to meet her. Being in heat is not going to make a good impression on him. So it'll be at least a week before I can show him the kitty and then he may or may not like her.
Alternately, he already approves of this rolly little black and white kitten (Mindy) that is at the PetSmart HS display. She's a very sweet, cute kitten, but I haven't bonded with her at all, and I think she's going to be a large cat when she's done growing. She's only 6 months old and already almost as heavy as Violet (not as long though), who is about a year. I could probably go pick her up tomorrow and then I would have my second kitty.
If he decides he doesn't like Charlotte, when I can finally get him to meet her, Mindy may be gone, which puts us back at square one for finding a second kitty.

Anlina: (in response to pic thread post) Yus, she has a decent name because she seems to be addicted to me and doesn't really like visiting my sister at all. My sister is feeling rejected and is taking her anger out at me (which I'm used to anyway). My father told me to not mention anything to her, but he's going to get her a small iguana since the kitten is practically all mine (by decision of the kitten, not myself xd ). Hence, I was able to give her a name freely!

It's funny when my cat was a kitten and she was batting at my eye lashes with her paw (thankfully without claws), it was very cute!!!

Walter has an issue where he sucks on himself and other cats. He's never sucked on me...until this morning. I was eatting thin mints and he wanted one so bad. Of course, I didn't want to give him chocolate, so he just settled by my side until I was done. After I put the box down, he grabbed my hand with his paw and brought it to his mouth, where he proceeded to sucks on my finger tips. It was...an odd feeling. xD

Matchi Mosomoto Why does Fluffy-wuffy always try and bite me when I walk past him? -_-' My Lilly does that too! She will be all lovey-dovey and rub herself against my legs and I will pet her and then she will sniff my ankle and then BITE IT crying

I GOT MY SECOND KITTY TODAY! heart heart heart
We went with the little black and white cat, cause that's the one the hubby liked. She's hanging out in the bathroom at the moment, having some food and getting acclimated to her new house.
I really, really hope she and Violet get along.
Her name at the HS was Mindy, but she's getting re-named. We just don't know what yet.

congratulations, anlina!
my second kitty (grumbles) is now staring at my first kitty (mitts). mitts got first to one of their favorite spots and is happily snoozing. grumbles didn't find out about it until she's about to go there herself. she's now sitting on my desk, probably plotting ways to drive mitts from teh spot.
