Seiya used her power so suddenly it seemed as if time stood still for moment. It was as if a invisible wall had materialized between Seiya and Kumizu. Her head was held down, slow even breathing, concentrating to keep the shield up. He wouldn't be able to break it.
She could keep him there, but for how long before she lost control?
Her eyes narrowed into slits,
"Don't. If you stop now you won't be hurt." She said softly.
She flicked her fingers to the side, pulling the sword away from him.

((There's no way you could take the sword from my hand. This is from my character profile:
"Weapon: Two longswords, made of the same pure water energy, that he can easily create at any time, as well as absorb the water when he is not fighting.
*He can absorb the pure energy from water, not the water itself, and store it in reserves in his body. The other parts of the water are simply dispersed. Think of it like eating food. Your body breaks it down, uses the needed parts, and gets rid of the rest. This is where that energy comes in. He can take this pure (water) energy and concentrate it into a sword. If he lets go of the sword, his connection to the energy is cut off, and the sword disappears.
The simplest way of putting it is a lightsaber without a hilt."

"How dare you!" Kumizu screamed. "Let me out right now, you b***h!" He used a range of his powers to try and break free from his cage, without success. "I'd like to see you try to hurt me. Go ahead. Let me out, and show me." He had a malicious grin on his face, still clutching the object protectively against his chest. "Come on. Let me out. Prove you're not just all talk!"

[Oops, I meant to type "'tried' to pull the sword away."]
Seiya crossed her arms across her chest;
"I don't need to prove myself. I know my limitations." She said eyeing him coldly; "I am well aware of my percieved arrogance. Maybe I'd like to prove myself but..." She held her palms flat out, "I refuse to give in to taunting."
Her pride was definately not going to allow her to become upset. Also...the other one, she would ruin everything with her "power" although it could hardly be called that. Seiya dreaded that, maybe she was even a bit scared of the person she thought of, but-
"There was no such thing as fear when you're a Mihara." She smiled, "I don't need to let you out and prove myself, I already have, obviously I'm not the one stuck in there." She blew him a rasberry.

Kumizu was rather taken aback by her answer. He thought for sure it would work. He'd just have to try harder. "In other words, you're too scared. It's understandable, but I think you'd at least try. Oh well, I guess I can't change the mind of a coward." The only thing good about this cage was that she couldn't get the item, but Kumizu still didn't like being trapped in here.

Seiya looked at the ground, "I am not a coward,"
Goosebumps began to appear on her skin, the atmospehere of the room was changing. Looking around for a moment she turned her attetntion back to Kumizu. "You think you're tough? You're helpless in there."
Relaxing her stance a bit the cage became smaller, definately more uncomfortable. "I could crush you to death."
While it was true she wasn't sure what else would happen if she did. "You're not challenging me, you're mocking me." She bared her teeth at him, "I hate morons."

Kumizu now had no room to move, which only fueled his rage. "Go ahead and crush me! What's holding you back?" To both of their surprise, ((I'm assuming)) the sphere started to glow. The entire cage was covered in black light for a moment, and then it shattered. He stood upright. The sphere still glowed brightly, but his eyes and the sapphire glowed green. He generated a sword, which was now a sickly olive color. Without another word, he slashed at her.

Seiya skillfully dodged (narrowly) and grabbed his arm, holding the sword away from both of them.
"I won't show you mercy." Her grip tightened into a bone-crushing vice. Her eyes turned a vibrant green and narrowed into lizard-like slits. Her nails grew sharper, her body tensed as she tried to maintain her composure. She wouldn't go any further than this.
She wouldn't kill anyone or anything.
Or maybe that was something Ayise happened to be thinking.
On second thought, maybe she'd kill Ayise.
A grin spread over her face, she could kill three birds with one stone...
Her face slipped back into it's calm expression, she looked at him through her slitted eyes. "Fine. You want to fight, so be it."

Kumizu let go of the sword and it disappeared. He twisted his arm and wrenched it out of Seiya's grip. His arm was bleeding becaused of five scratches on it.
Kumizu smiled. Finally, a fight. He could get rid of her, and there was no way she would get this sphere. "It's about time." His left arm was still clutching it to his chest, as if it was a part of him. Blood dripped from his right arm and when a drop hit his sword, it disappeared with a sizzling sound. With a grand sweep of his free arm, he bowed and said, "Please. Ladies first."

Seiya placed her hand on her chest, she couldn't allow herself to be stressed. Evening out her breathing, she began mumbling under her breath. The air stilled, and the flames seemed to get cooler.
The space in front of her distorted. The air seemed to move in a strange way around her.
All she could do is defend against the attacks he aimed at her.
She couldn't attack, or else...

"Well? What are you waiting for?" Goddamnit. She's just going to sit there, twiddling her thumbs. Fine. He'd lost his patience.
Normally, he could have just run. Kumizu had the sphere in his hands, Seiya wasn't acting like she would be any sort of threat, he could easily escape. But he was worried she might go after him; or worse, tell others about the item. He didn't have any other choice. He ran at her with the sword like a sphere, aiming for the middle of her stomach.

"Childish." She waved her hand and once he came within ten feet of her the shield rebounded and sent him sprawling backwards.
"Tsk. Tsk. Not the patient type are we?" She looked down at her nails, "Sooner or later you'll get tired and then I'll fight but until then...it just wouldn't be a fair fight. I'm just a girl after all." Her calm arrogant personality was back and was attempting to push his buttons. She was toying with him, not even considering wasting her power to fight him.

Kumizu rolled backwards and was on his feet immediately. "Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were so scared you're going to use a gender excuse not to fight. That's fine with me. It'll just make killing you that much easier."
This time, he threw orbs at her with his free hand, these with the same energy as his sword. While she would block that, water boiled on the wall behind her and blasted at her back. If it hit, it would probably burn and knock her down, but this attack wouldn't be life-threatening. Kumizu figured if she was knocked off her feet, then he could finish her off.

Seiya managed to block the orbs but wasn't able to fight the boiling water. She turned around just in time to see it barrelling toward her. Not thinking she took a deep breath and breathed fire at the water causing it to evaporate.
She didn't move, a horrified look crossed her face, she hadn't wanted anyone to see her do that. It would give away her secret.
Besides, she couldn't do that, it must have been Ayise; meaning she no longer had complete control of her reflexes, she'd be a lot slower.

Kumizu was taken aback by this sudden show of power. This meant it would just be harder for him to get rid of her. However, there was no turning back. Basic science taught that, even if the heat could evaporate water, water could easily extinguish fire if it was strong enough. That's all he needed to do: attack with a stronger blast of water. This time, however, Kumizu balled his hand into a fist. His fist was covered in water, the heat still making it scalding hot. Though his gloves didn't seem to be that thick, it looked as if he couldn't feel it. He ran at Seiya, ready to tackle her and give her a few good hits. He just had to be careful, using a physical attack this close would make it easier for her to steal the orb. He couldn't have that.
