Morgana flicked her ears and shifted "yea ... but maybe the wind will blow saway some of this bloody snow." She stretche dher legs out infront of her "I don't like to stay in one place for two long either."
He looked back to him relaxing once more since there seemed to be no danger at this moment from NightShade.
She lowere dher head and put it against the ground as she dirfed off int her own thoughts for a moment, she should probably go and try to find Misfortune ... but she wouldn't Cloud Runner was nice she she'd just stick with him for now and go speak to Misfortune later.
The ittle mare was silent as she stayed lsot in her throughts the obly movements she made were the flicking of her ears.

Cloud's head dipped, a grin curling his lips as he chuckled, the sound rich and warm, almost like a blanket to wrap round yourself on a cold winters day. "Aye, that be one good thing about it." Lifting his head he nuzzled the mare's short mane, nudging the braid lightly to comfort her.
"A drifter like myself?" He replied softly, feeling oddly happy that she might be like him. So many of the soquili he had met were from a big family and seemed to be happy that way. It sometimes made him wonder what it would be like to have one of his own.
The blue stallion tilted his head as Morgana rested hers against the cold ground under them. With a soft smile he shifted a little, muzzle dipping to brush one of her slender brown ears, breath warm, comforting. Lifting his head he gazed out at the snowscape before them, body relaxed next to the mare's. The silence was comfortable, with just the wind calling from outside their shelter and the soft breaths of the two soquili within. Her warmth at his side was soothing, as if something about her calmed the wanderlust in him.

Morgana titled her head and opened her dark brownish red eyes to look at him "yea ... I've never been one for families, don't get me wrong I love my dad .. but I like to be alone wondering the lands most of the time." She shrugged, well as much as a horse could, and just kept watching him not caring as he played with her mane and ear.
Her little tail started to flick back and forth rapidly as if it was too hyper to like this staying in one place, but it was the only part of her body moving at the moment, besides the steady rise an fall of her sides as she breathed.
She stretched "families are great and all, but they tie a person down .. make it hard to travel where you want too." She listed her head slightly and shook it, "besides .. I don't really want any kids at the moment theres to much I still haven't done."

Blue head bobbed at her reply. Cloud certainly understood the need to be free to move where one wished. The great silence of the plain before the first bird call was heaven to him. The violent battering of the wind at the tops of the tallest mountains... the calm cool sanctuary of the deep forest with only the small creatures as company.
he was pulled from his musings by the anxious motions of the mare's tail, one grey eye flicking to it then back to her. "’Im inclined to agree with you. From what I’ve heard younglings have to stay in a basket for some weeks. I can't see how it would be possible to move a basket around. And even afterwards, foals are so... fragile." He flicked an ear in thought. Yes, he wanted a family, the general idea of a mate and kids somewhere in his future was hard-wired into his brain. But he felt himself far from ready for a family, the idea of such a responsibility made his coat shiver in fear. He couldn't handle such a thing as that, not yet. Not for many years. Expectations of others, being judged every time you turned around. Not being able to pick a path and find out where it led, or pitting himself against nature to prove who he was...
Flattening his ears briefly he shook his head, sending his punkish blue mane flicking. Looking back down at her he grinned. "So you want to see if we can get out of here?" He peered at the entrance of their shelter, watching the flakes drift from just inside where they had caught on the rock. Those that had melted had sent droplets of water to darken the entrance with a line, almost as begging the pair to stay within.

Morgana mused quietly for a moment, then spoke though more to herself than to him. "I would love to have a mate ... someone I can stand beside as an equal and know they loved me ... but the one that makes my heart do back flips doesn't seem to notice. Maybe we've been friends far to long... she shook her mane sadly and flicked her tail again, she felt alone even exiled without Misfortune.
Leave? he'd asked if they should leave? Oh oh yes they should! "we can try, Morgana stretched and shimmied forward towards the mouth of their small hiding spot. Once out she stumbled slightly, her legs were asleep so she had to stand there for a moment until the tingling numbness stopped, only to be replaced by a tingling pain.
Yet, that didn't stop her for long. She was free of the tight confines, she could wonder again. She looked back at Cloud Runner, well at least for now she couldn't be left alone with her thoughts.

He watched her silently, grey eyes soft. "I'm truly sorry. That can not be easy." He watched to comfort her, but he did not wish to impose himself either.
He smiled as she agreed and he shifted over to let her out first. Following soon after he rose to his hooves, shaking out the stiffness by pawing at the ground. Giving his whole body a shake he swung his head and looked across at the mare, a bright smile upon his muzzle.
"The snow has mostly stopped, which way did you wish to go?" He gazed around them. Not knowing where they were, if he had been alone he would have picked any direction away from where he had come from and simply followed it.
