the glass is half empty
why?
tis simple, it has a veryt large hole but yet it has a small leak and must be constantly refilled with more liquid

[[Must.... Answer.... Stupidly...]]
I don't even see a glass here? How are you all seeing this glass?!?!
But other then that. IF there were a glass that had a mysterious liquid --which we still dont know what it is-- then it would obviously be there for us to drink. Not to contemplate. So does it really matter if it is 'full' 'empty' or 'middly?'
Oh, also, my science teacher would like to point out that water molucules are floating around in the air, so technachly, it is completly full, you just can't see it.

DragonMistress333 it's one of the oldest questions ever, I know. For me the water is in the middle. Feel free to explain your answer That's simple, the complete idea of what you think about it being depends on how you're approaching the class of water. I drank half of the water in the glass, its now half empty. She filled my glass with icey cold water, when she stopped it was only half full. Middle? uhm.. fine instead of calling you mad consider this. I think you'd say its in the middle when looking from a more scientific point, if you were to scan the kitchen table and saw a glass that had water up to the point where the middle of the glass is considered to be you might call it being in the middle or half empty. Well I love this answer: Quote: Oh, also, my science teacher would like to point out that water molucules are floating around in the air, so technachly, it is completly full, you just can't see it. credits for it go to and that sciency teacher, im proud of such an answer (dissapointingly i guess you'd be called mad for saying a the glass is full when describing this subject for social purposes.

I don't see why... ...more people don't apply the wise words of Bill Nye the Science Guy, and realize this MYSTERY glass is full; 50% water, 50% air. *resists temptation to sing Bill Nye theme song* sweatdrop

I'm a half-empty kind of person. I tend to look at the negative side on mostly everything. Not good, I know. But, I can't help it.

I think it depends what's exactly in the cup. Because then, if it's something you want to drink in the cup, you'll be all bumbed out that it's after empty already. But if it's something you don't want to drink like baby blood then you'll be like, "Cmon! It's half full!!" So basically, what's in the dang cup?

Neither; I spill the glass and say that it would've evaporated anyway.
Gentlemen, I believe that no further explanation shall be required.
