The large male grined, yes he would get his blood, no matter which bug it was from. The blood from the pirticular bug that had escaped just moments ago would just be sweeter. "Train lots. One. One. Little Rabbit must not allow. Yesssss? Not allow bugs to get away again." When next time came they'd have to rip off some legs, make sure there was no way for them to get away. And he'd have to have his power at the ready should some other bug attempt to get in the way again. This would not be repeated.
Skeleton Key ran his tongue along Vellamo's wound once more, mulling over what she had said. "Yesssssss? The stupid little bug. Wont fight for a long time. Wont fly for longer. Twelve. Five. Weak, very weak. Finding? No. Yesssssss. Be hard to find. The other bug. Two one. One. He will hide him to." he growled, not at the female, but at the air itself.

Vellamo scowled at Key's words, for she knew them to be right. She had messed up. If only she had struck sooner, they probably would be enjoying their victory right about now, but no. She had been so close though... so close.
"Need to fight better.. be stronger.. teach me? The keys teach? Six. Two." Next time she wouldn't let the opportunity slip from her grasp.. their grasp. She would get better. She snarled quietly to herself. Getting to her paws, she got an idea, "Hungry. Will hunt, bring back for you." She could atleast do something useful.

Skeleton Key grunted, mulling over her question. Teach her? The keys had taught him well, perhaps it was time for him to teach someone else, and the keys had already deemed her worthy a long time ago. Perhaps he should have taught her before the hunt, but he hadn't really thought she'd have needed any experience for them to take down a stupid bug. Of course it hadn't been planed for the bug's brother to rush in for a rescue.
"Teach? One. One. The keys will teach? Little Rabbit. The keys will allow it. Five. Nine. Yesssss? Yesssss. Worthy enough. The keys will teach." The male turned, taking a few steps, before turning back towards the female. He grined, before letting out his hyena-esque laugh. A deep rumble erupted from his throat as he lept at Vellamo to pin her down. She wanted to be taught, then he and the keys would teach. "Little Rabbit will find food? Find food. Yesssssss. Eight. Eight. Must fight before can find."
