She grinned and quickly followed as she jumped onto her platform. She was quite confident in herself even though she knew odds were against her. She watched her two pokemon quickly pad over to the battle field. They crutched down into a battle posistion quite ready for the match even thought they too knew they're chance were slim but it'd be exellent experience for them to battle one of such power.

Shia quickly runs inside wearing her referee uniform. "Haha! The challenger Tenchi and her two pokemon against the Gym Leader Angel against her Dragonair! Are you guys ready? BEGIN!" She says and waves her red and green flag.
"You may go first tenchi!" She says and grins.

She smiled and nodded "Alright guys a combo tackle attack" she shouted as she pointed at the Dragonair. The two ran at oppisite sides of the dragonair as they started to close in, heads bent for the tackle attacks. She watched in suspence since she hadn't trained much with them so attacks were limited.

"Ruishi dodge! Then use a dragon rage!" She says. Ruishi look left and right to see the two pokemon come close. She quickly dodge it. Facing them, she opened her mouth as a orange sphere of energy appeared. As soon as the two collided, she fire her attack.

"Oh no!" she flinched back as she watched the result of the impact. Krypton had manage to just leap away from the blast but Kihaku made a direct hit with the dragon rage. He struggled up to his feet to Tenchi's surprize. Kihaku was weak but his blaze ability was useless with not knowing ember yet, she sighed before shouting once more "Kihaku! Leer attack! Krypton! Use your flash fire ability to power up your ember attack and then follow with your ember!"

Angel smiled as she rubbed her hands together. "Mkay...Ruishi! use a slam attack on Kihaku!" She says pointing to the cyndaquil. Ruishi stared at the leer for a second. She dozed off a bit but she was back in the game. She quickly flew over towards Kihaku. She raised her tail up above his neck and slam it hard against the back of his neck.

With Ruishi slam attacking apon Kihaku Krypton releashed his powered up ember attack apon the dragon. Kihaku yelped in pain of the slam attack but was determinded to stay in though it looked as though they might not be possible very soon.

Ruishi used her tail to cover herself. the ember attack suprisly pushed ruishi back. She quikly shook her tail and she was slightly burned. "Ruishi use a twsiter attack!" Angel says. Ruishi swiftly moved away from them and the jewel looking thing around her neck started to glow as a twister appeared. When the twsiter was big enough, she sent the attack at Krypton.

Krypton ran as fast as his little legs could carry him but he was not quick enough to escape such a powerful attack. He was quickly swept up into the twister before being pinned within the core of the winds. Kihaku looked up helpless for he had not the energy to try to help his partner. With little energy left he tried to use his leer attack to distract the dragonair enough so Krypton could prehaps escape from the massive winds.

The leer had succesfully distracted Ruishi. "Ruishi! Quick! Thunderwave Krypton!" She says pointing to the vulpix who seems to be trying to escape. Ruishi nods as her shed skin affected started to take affect. The burning pain on her tial was gone and she sent a Thunderwave at the vulpix to stop him.

Kihaku tried to strenghten his leer to stop Ruishi from using full strenght in the thunder wave to Krypton could escape but he just didn;t have it in him as he fell forward tired.
Krpyton struggled to his feet only to have a sudden impact with the thunder wave. "Krypton! Ember!" Tenchi shouted just as the thunder wave hit him. He stumbled a bit trying to releash an ember attack before completely being affected by the thunder wave.

Ruishi stretched herself, not wnating the ember to hit her in the face. She shakes away the pain. "Ruishi! dragon rage" HSe says. Ruishi opened her mouth and summoned a nother orange sphere of engery. When she gathered enough energy, she sent the attack at Krypton.

Krypton was helpless as the blast made a direct impact sending the vukpix flying into the side wall. With that the two lay helpless, the match was over. As expected Tenchi had lost the match but she was quite proud of her two for they held up longer then she had expected. She jumped off the platform and picked up her two helpless pokemon "Good job" she smiled as she enlarged there pokemons and summened them back into there pokeballs. She rose to her feet and bowed to her sensei "It was an exelent match sensei"

"The match is over. Victory goes to Angel, the Gym Leader!" Shia says and quickly skipps off back into the room. Angel smiles and nods and reverted back into her old silly self. "Oh please! Enough of that Sensie stuff! Just call me Angel! Yes! i must admit..it was a great battle!" She took out her slip board again and made several check marks on her paper and smiled. "Good job. You'll make an ecellent apprentice for me!" She says and then runs out of the gym door. She held the door opened for Tenchi before she was able to lock the room.

She smiled and bowed once more "I'm glad you feel that way about my potential sensei" as she then headed towards the door. She bowed her head in respect before exiting the room as she stood to wait for Angel not sure where or what they were doing next. Angel's attitude changed back to back to her crazy self after the match, she could see now how Angel had become so highly respected and looked up apon.
