Actually, last night I went and watched Transporter 2.
That wasn't a bad flick.. personally, I thought the first one was better, but hey, they were both pretty good..
Kinda like the Ocean's movies. 11 was better than 12, right?
I really didn't have much to complain about except the fact that I thought it was getting a little too cheesy in parts.. but other than that, it was good.
Had action, of course, a splash of comedy, and a bit of sex appeal thrown in..
I give it an 8/10. pirate

I just saw a really good Indian movie... Dilwale Dulhania le Jayenge. It's in Hindi, and the subtitles are rather goofy, but it's an excellent movie (if you can get past the subtitles. they were so funny I fell over laughing).

Ms.Tadakichi The last movie I saw was The Royal Tenenbaums. I love that director. Dunno his name but he did The Life Aquatic i believe. Same dry humour style. It's great. Stupid but great xD I also saw Sin City before that. I just love the fact that the cast is so star studded. But what was with the yellow guy? Why does he have to look like that? xd I was told he's supposed to be blue but that didn't work out with the blue screen. So he was yellow gonk That just puzzled me and my friend. Love the style of the movie though. Wes Anderson did Tenenbaums and The Life Aquatic,
Actually he was always supposed to be yellow as he was in the graphic novels and they used Green screen not Blue screen. Yellow would, like green, have reacted with the green screen and made it impossible to seperate the colours for compositing so they had to paint him blue when filming. Only on set was he known as "That Blue b*****d"
...I'm such a film geek.
I'm supposed to be applying for digital effects jobs at the moment though so I guess it makes sense for me to know these things! mrgreen

Well, we just watched Ben Hur in Latin class. And it had a really big build up, with the all the awards it had won way back when, and it was rather disappointing. However, my friend and I get a kick out of saying Judea Ben Hur all the time, for some reason. Of course, I suppose its not as terrible as my class laughing whenever some died or got hurt, and having to replay the guy with the bloody stub instead of an arm...Yeah, it was a little gross.
