When the black dragon felt it was safe to eat without pesky humans interrupting them he released the cart handle and then used the flat of his head to push the cart over onto its side. The loud crash caused Keir to pause only moments before he used a clawed hand to pry open the lid and with his jaws reached into pull out some of the warm meat sausages.
Moving he allowed the frost to take his share before he laid down and started to eat.
Chath gave a nod of his head, he was an idiot for comging out in this sort of weather, dumb as well stubborn. "Y..eah I am cold. Maybe we should move somewhere warmer...where do you think we should go..?" He asked finally moving in closer to feel the warmth radiating from the owl.
"He..y....where are our dragons?" He asked looking around a bit worriedly.

Vorel sniffed at the odd meat that was within the cart before taking what he thought was close to half before he took a large bite of the meat down. It didn't taste half bad, he had no idea what it was made from but it wasn't bad. The only way it would be better... he drew back to look at the pile of meat as he drew in a deep breath. There was a moment where he held the air in his lung before he unleashed a frosty fog across the meat. When he was done it was a solid pile of frozen deliciousness which he broke apart with his tail before munching down on.
The Frost was all but purring as he gulped down the frozen treat, there was just something about having meat frozen that made it taste ten times better he thought to himself.
Ligeia nodded, "There are plenty of places around the park we can go, maybe somewhere to get something warm for you to drink?" Though he wasn't sure how well Chath did with coffee drinks so maybe just hot chocolate for the newt?
He looked over his shoulder to where Vorel had been last he remembered then around the area, "Ahhh... I don't know..." He murmured, then shook his head, "Vorel wouldn't let Keir get into trouble, surely?" He believed in his dragon... then again he wasn't the smartest of the dragons so he might be easily led into trouble if he didn't know what they were doing was bad.
"Maybe we should go find them... though..." He looked torn now, he wanted to find the two dragons before they did anything they shouldn't, at the same time he wanted to get Chath somewhere he could warm up, "Umm... hmm..."

Keir would of liked that his food was putrid and rotting but there was no timeto go let it rot in a swamp and he was hungry now. He sorta envied the Frost being able to isntantly frost his treat into the way he liked it but then again...the frost like his meant frozen...how strange.
He looked up warily as he heard foot steps and the words of a man stating he had been robbed. Growling he bet that this human was the owner of this said cart. Growling he gulped down his meat and licked his lips.
Chath nodded his head he certianly did need to warm up he was feelin drowzy like he hadn't slept in days. Which was only half the truth, he just hadn't been sleeping well.
"Well...Keir has been doing better...but he is still very touchy about his unability to fly...as well been generally more grouchy since the 'incident'. I am never sure what might set him off...I don't care to leave him alone for long.." Chath explained tiredly. NOt that he didn't trust that that Vorel couldn't at least keep Keir in line...it was just..the black was just that...a black dragon. With a tempermant to match.

Vorel took Keir's cue on eating fast as something to follow, he easily gulped down the frozen meat before he looked over in the direction where he could hear the human. Robbed? Uh-oh... he'd thought that the cart had been abandoned, didn't know that it belonged to someone else, "Should go before we are found out." He murmured to Keir. There were times when he forgot what he was, how big he was, and only worried about the fact that something he might do could upset his owl. This was one of those times were he was worried about just that... the idea of the two of them sneaking off unnoticed wasn't something very probable was it?
He looked back and forth then up, "Could always fly off, good practice." And the human would have no way of following them either. Vorel rose up to his feet, opened his wings, and gave a flap of them. He could take off easily enough, it was Keir he worried about though. The black only had the most basics of flying down. He'd offer to carry him but that was sure to offend the black.
Ligeia looked around with a sigh, what a time for Vorel to wander off. He wished they had a way of signaling each other. Maybe that was something they should on? In case they were separated like this again which was bound to happen, "Well... lets see. How about we head to that coffee shop? Its not far from here, we will get you inside with something warm to drink then I can go and find our dragons if they haven't caught up by then." He suggested.
He was able to keep from taking charge and wanting to take care of Chath and everything else as was his nature until now. Given the choice he would rather make sure that Chath was safely and warmly inside and go to find Vorel and Keir himself. He only hoped that the newt wouldn't be upset over it. Even if he was though the fact remained that Chath was cold and should go inside while Ligeia was fine and wouldn't be let in most places since he lacked shoes.
"Come on, lets get walking in that direction." He said, taking Chath's hand in his.

THe black was nearly going to retort that they should just eat the man and snapped his mouth shut instead. He knew doing that would rouse more angry people..and he remembered the black at the facility. Growling he lifted his head and spread his wings. Yeah flying away would be good....but there was no garuntee that he would be able to get airborn without the hill.
Run. Man is stupid if he chases. The black retorted to the idea of trying to fly. his muscles were too sore anyway. THe black then began to trot back towards where they had left their kids.
Chath felt a sigh tug at his lips. He knew Geia was worried about him, but why did it make him feel like he was just a kid? Maybe because he...was. Holding onto Geia's hand didn't help brighten his mood like it normally did. Instead he just felt the dull pain roar in his head when tired and cold it was harder to ignore the pain it seemed.
"Yes the coffee shop will be fine." He mumbeled trying not to sound sulky but was doing a bad job of covering it up. "But I really think we should find Keir and Vo.. oh...well..there they are." he said pointing out the black and frost who were coming towards them in a hurried fashion. He wondered what they had gotten themself into...

Ligeia had only taken two steps before he saw the dragons coming their way, running at a rather fast pace too... what were they up to? Racing maybe? It made sense in his mind, "Vorel? What are you two up to?"
The Frost dragon came to a stop next to his owl, turning to look back over his shoulder. He didn't see the man who owned the stand of hot dogs that he and Keir had broken into. That was a good sign he thought and gave a sound of relief. Of course after he thought that he had escaped from the danger that was the man he found himself starring at the owl who was gazing at him questioningly. Oops... He was going to want to know what was going on.
"Umm... just playing?" He said quickly.
Ligeia blinked, leaned closer to sniff at the Frost then tilted his head to the side, "You smell like hot dogs." He said.
Vorel looked like a deer caught in headlights, quickly turning to Keir for help in explaining to the owl in a way that wouldn't get them in trouble.

Keir only offered a growl as further explanation. Hot dog man gave us some. he snapped as an explanation for Vorel to offer his boy. He flapped his wings in annoyance he wanted to go home now. He was sulky and wanted to go home, his ego was a bit bruised he just wanted to leave now.
Chath wondered why his black was being so moody...but then again it was Keir...and Keir was always grumpy. He himself wasn't in the best of moods and seeing his surly dragon only reminded him why he was out here in the first place.
"Um..I think I should take Keir home...do you want to come back to my place?" he asked wondering if the owl boy would be able to stand any more of his moodiness.

Ligeia turned to Keir, listening to what the Black dragon had to say before giving a nod, "Ohhh, I see. That was nice of him." He said, not knowing if it were true or not but he didn't want to argue with the Black given his mood.
The owl turned to Chath before giving him a smile, "I would go over if I could but I probably should head home. I left without telling anyone, I should go back and let them know I am alright. Will you be alright getting home?" He asked, wondering if the newt would be alright alone given how cold he was. Maybe it would be the best to walk with him... but at the same time he wouldn't force the newt to deal with the owl being overly worried for him.
Vorel looked between the other three that were standing around before lowering his head to bite playfully at Ligeia's long hair. Now that it was cleared up and he was no longer worried about the food and where they got it the Frost was back to being happy. No chance that he was going to get in trouble now since Keir had helped him out in explaining.

Keir looked to Ligeia forgetting that the owl boy was able to understand him. He knew Chath could understand him but always forgot the owl boy could understand more languages than his own boy could. Moving a couple of steps the black lowered his head looking annoyed.
Chath looked to Ligeia and offered a small smile as the frost dragon nuzzeled his boyfriends hair. There was a bit of longing he felt watching him as ifhimself wished he were able to do it. HIs mind drifted to other things he wondered if he would be able to do and he shook his head glad his orange skin tended to hid ehis embaressed blushes.
"Uh...you want me to walk you home first?" He asked as if didn't matter to him who went home but a n** on his shoulder alerted him the black was in no mood for dilly dallying.
"Or...it may be best to get Keir home.. I will be fine. YOu best let your famly know your okay."

While it was on the tip of Ligeia's tongue to agree that he'd like Chath to walk him home, if for no other reason then he would know Chath would get warmed up if he made him stay a while it would seem like Keir was in a hurry. He gave a smile to the newt and nodded, "Yeah, I will hurry for home. Call me when you get home?" He asked, "I just want to make sure you two make it alright."
He leaned forward to give Chath a quick kiss before he walked over to Vorel and crawled up onto his back, "Thank you for today Chath, it was nice to talk." He told him, with a bright smile, "Lets hang out again soon, okay?"
Vorel turned to make sure that his boy was sitting securely before turning to Keir, "Keep practicing, we will fly again when you want." He offered. Even though the Black had his moments where he was rather grouchy the Frost liked him, Keir had never looked down on him because he wasn't as smart as all the other dragons.
Vorel opened up his wings, stretching them out before he took to the air.
"Good bye!" Ligeia called.
"Bye!" Was Vorel's farewell before they started to gain height with each flap of the Frost dragon's wing.
