Alex put his hands in his pockets, "father eh?" he shrugged, he watched as Kitanai walked away from the area, he deicded to follow her for the moment,

Kitanai heard his footsteps behind her, trying not to acknowledge that he was there, though it was hard to ignore. However, it soon became tiresome for her, so she turned to face the man, coming to an immediate halt, "Why are you following me, exactly?"

Alex smiled and shrugged, "No particular reason, Why? Is it annoying you?" he asked a slight sting in his voice.

"I've spent most of my life being chased. I've never once been followed, because all those who followed me were killed within seconds." Turning to walk away, she said over her shoulder, "If you're going to keep going, then you'd be better off traveling with me over following behind, as it has proven to be quite dangerous."

Kitanai turned to continue walking, the man on her left still making her a bit uncomfortable. She watched him from the corner of her eye, seeing as much of him as she could without actually looking at him. "So," she said awkwardly, not used to making conversation but desperate to do so to kill the silence, "Why did you want to kill Jecht so badly?"

Alex looked at Kitanai, "Asking me that is like asking me Why I breath," he turned his head to look at the horizen again, "He was a night-walker, one with a history, one with violence as a life, i've got nothing against night-walkers personally, my grudge is with those night-walkers who exploit the weak."

Kitanai chuckled a little at his last statement, but left it alone. "So, what if it turned out that I were that way? Hypothetically speaking, of course." Kitanai was still only fading out of her life as a nightwalker, as she was still very prone to senseless violence. However, her life with Yukyo had brought to surface her conscience, and in turn she feels compassion towards the weak. The weak with big mouths, however, she wouldn't hesitate to destroy.

Alex grinned at Kitanai, "Then I wouldn't hesitate to rip you limb from limb," then he laughed, "Presuming I could, My powers don't directly effect those with strong willpowers, or minds." after a moments silence he added, "For example If I tried to rip apart a scholar, i'd be completely unsuccesful, and would have to resort to cloberring him with a hail of books,"

Kitanai hadn't found his humor very funny, but then again nothing was truly humorous. Jokes were just mindless banter, ways to add words to a sentence that wasn't even necessary. From what the man had said, though, it seemed his powers would have little to no effect on her, not that she had been worried. She continued to walk in silence, her home near.

As they approached the small slum of a hut, Kitanai scanned the area, not sensing any nearby nightwalkers. "Okay," she said to herself, turning and ducking under the doorway to her hut. She expected the man would follow, but it seemed there was nothing that she could do about him at the moment. It wouldn't be worth her time to destroy him, and it was obvious that he was not a threat.

She knelt down in the middle of the floor, sticking her fingers in between a slight crack. Her muscles tensed and grew as she lifted the heavy stone from the ground, revealing beneath it a storage hole. The best part about the location of the storage was that it was beneath the solid rock of the Hole. Kitanai was one of the few Forgotten with enough physical strength to lift the rock alone. She had dug this hole into the rock with her bare hands when she had arrived in this hole.

Leaping down into the hole, her entire body fitting inside of it easily, Kitanai searched around, flipping over things and shifting stuff around. Finally, she found what she was looking for, a morning star weapon. Kitanai hold the weapon by its long wooden handle, the chain at the end of it weighed down by a large stone ball with spikes on it. Swinging it over her head, Kitanai said to herself, "Perfect."

She climbed out of the hole, covering it again with the smooth rock that blended perfectly with the rest of the floor. She set the weapon on a small table, the spikes digging into the wooden furniture, and then sat on her bed, leaning against the wall. "Well, I'm gonna be here a while."

As Kitanai walked inside her hut, Alex stood outside, hearing the stone grating tickled his curiosity but not enough to invade someones home, he stood outside and leaned against the wall of her hut, "Well, take your time, i'm not going anywhere, sadly,"

It made her paranoid, him standing outside of her hut that way, so she went to the doorway and grabbed his clothes, pulling him in, "You can't just stand out there like that. You've been seen with me by nightwalkers, and if they see you out there they will know where I live."

Walking to her sorry excuse for a sink, a large bowl with fresh water in it from a nearby lake, Kitanai poured some of it into a mug asking the man, "Tea?" It wasn't normal for her to be so hospitable, but it seemed appropriate. Besides, what did she have to lose?

Alex took the cup, "Thankyou," he said, smiling, he sipped from the mug, "I havn't told you my name Have I?" he asked,

Kitanai shrugged, "Not that it matters," she said, pouring her own mug of tea. "I mean, I'm not telling you mine, so why should I know yours?"
