Our band director favors the saxophones and calls them, "God's chosen instrument." I pointed out one day that you always see angels playing trumpets (even though I'm a bone) and the head sax got all mad and told me that they only played trumpets because god didn't say they could play sax's. He's such an idiot! But anywho, I voted for the clarinets because they envy the flutes so they're worse than the flutes, and the one guy clarinet is a total b*****d. I think bones are the best because we don't pwn, we bone!

the drummers. because they think there so fly because of the movie drumline and they mostly suck, and plus my brother plays the drums and the baning get soooo annoying!

well,
i play clarinet, flute, and cymbals.
so i love the woodwinds...
esp. the clarinets.
the flutes annoy me most the time.
the percussionists are AMAZING.
they've got a great sense of humor and practice more htan anyone else.
and the trumpets are pretty darn amazing, too.
a little arrogant, (including the head director) but basically really cool.
if i didn't like someone, it would probably be the low brass simply because most the people in our band can't actually play the instruments worth anything.

Flutes....1.At our last competition, they decided to go over an entire yard line 2. they always correct us freshmen clarinets when its our sections job to do that....3. they think there better than us 4. there stuck up and flirt with everyone

anyway
i chose percussion, only because they r mostly annoying idiotic boys!!! i also hate the clarenet section they never stop talking!!!!our trumpets r bad except 4 the girls & a couple of guys, they are dorks who have 1 friend if they r lucky AND! they think they r the coolest kids in school!!!its soooo annoying! the flutes arnt bad at all! they r the quiet people when they arnt supposed to talk but when they can they r load(like me!)of coarse they oboe isnt bad, manely because im the only 1, the bass clarenets r pretty bad, just talk & talk & talk! trombones can be kinda annoying but thats because they r the popullar ppl who wont stop talking! the only girl trombone is always flirting with the guys!we have 2 french horns 1 is the most annoying person ever! & the other is a popullar girl but shes nice popullar, shes friends with every1, thetubas r quiet but in a bad way! they never play more than piano even when they r supossed 2 play fortissamo!

1. they play loud (i'm in the row right in front of them)
2. they ALWAYS get yelled at
3. they NEVER can keep count
4. they never follow directions

I can agree that percussion doesn't know how too count, and they oof off WAY TO MUCH! Sry, i am very critical of our band, as they don't really care about the music we play, they just attend to skip the work involved in other classes
i play Alto sax. but i used to play trumpet, i now understand why some of you don't like trumpets, neither do I. Try sitting 5 in. from their horn when they have a 3x forte part! burning_eyes ninja ninja

i think that saxes manage to be pretty good about most stuff, we have a few that get a little mad at sometimes, when the trumpets mess up they just flip 'em off

Trumpets. They play. So. Loud. It is ridiculous.
One day in science our teacher was talking about waves and how they overlap. She said "Like in band, if one trumpet player was playing, it might not be so loud, but if there were a lot of them, it would be louder," I seriously almost raised my hand and told her to come to the band room at 2:30 that day, then try to tell us that one trumpet player isn't loud . . .
