The Goblin begins to shake an quiver, fully aware that he is in the presence of powerful beings. "It's the Boss! Not me! The Boss made me do it! I'm innocent, really! Never harmed anyone, that's me! We was just knocking on doors, asking for donations, polite like you know? The Boss, he uhh, needs it for an operation or something. You understand, right? If the Boss don't get what he wants, then we all suffer, don't cha know?" The goblin continues to babble, afraid for his miserable existence.

"This boss whats his name, whats he like, and where can we find him?" She said ominously hovering over him her face shadowed and her evil grin becomeing murderous. Her left hand grabbing the gravity sword and lifts it, to her surprise its very light. ((for roleplaying/style purpose only)) "I'm not very patient you see so spill it...or I will!" She said raising the sword to eye level on the poor goblin.

The bard laughed silently, admiring the leader's intimidating style. Making herself appear more menacingly and curling her lips into a sarcastic scowl, Karythelia stalked towards Lurea and the goblin. "You know my boss her isn't here to listen to what she already knows," the half elf said nonchallantly, jerking her head in Lurea's direction,"We need specifics and unfortunately I'm here to tell the both of you that we have to wrap this business soon. You see goblin our male buddies are getting tired of waiting. We're a tad more patient but being on a schedule and all..." Unsheathing her dagger, Karythelia twiriled it in her agile musician's fingers.

The terrrified Goblin begins to thrash wildly, doing his best to escape the clutches of the sadistic crew. Seeing that his best is far from adequate, the goblin collapses in tears. "I swear to you, I'm just a victim of a tyrant's unreasonable demands. Azulas is a mighty Earth Demon; what were we supposed to do? He invaded our caverns, killed our king, and enslaved us all. And now he bids us to collect the wealth of the surrounding area, and bring it to him, or face the destruction of our families. Between him and his loyal demonic minions and Goblin fanatics, the rest of us simple folk stand no chance at a regular peaceful existence. I mean look at me, a former librarian and teacher for our tribe; now forced to grub about in the mud for food, and encourage the hapless farm folk to donate their wealth to an unworthy cause. I had a life; now I'm just another Goblin Patroller waiting to die..." The Goblin falls silent, shaking quietly, with a resigned expression on his face. "I guess it doesn't matter anymore. The Boss is located a day's walk to the Northeast, as you reach the edge of Mount Scraggletooth. Look for the central cavern on the North face of the mountain; about half way up. It is there that you will find what you seek."

((Shame we don't have a token to stick him in or something, he seems like a nice enough goblin... it'd be a waste to kill him off in this situation... but I doubt we could trust a goblin to back us up even if we were to convince it that we were going to "free" its kin from this demon... sad ))

Warder stood up and paced around the group interrogating the little goblin. "A demon!?" he started when the goblin mentioned it. He'd figured whatever was driving the goblins must've been something impressive, but he hadn't expected a full fledged demon to be behind this mischief. "So the goblins are being forced to act against their will?"
Turning to the others he tried to see what they were thinking or if they even believed the little creature. Truth be told he felt sorry for it... demons were known for their cruelty, and it seemed harsh to kill off a creature just because its superiors were forcing it to misbehave. Warder definitely didn't trust the creature much, especially since it had just tried to kill them... but he wondered if there might not be some way that it could help them defeat this 'Azulas'.

Alright you guys, the goal is to post daily after all. A little more effort on your part would be appreciated. As such their has been no clear declaration of intent. Until that has been achieved, I cannot continue...

((I'm all for once a day... dunno where everyone went. ninja If you'd like I can just kill the goblin so the group moves on... but I doubt Lurea as leader would appreciate the random swordplay sweatdrop ))

[[ Sorry! I got lazy, pissed off and stressed out. I winged this test today so I'm doomed... x____X Besides that the teachers a total beetch...

Lawlz we can have our own Gollum! ]]

She was just as surprised as Warder when the goblin began spilling his guts. A demon! Still she couldn't help feeling sorry for their miserable prisoner. "We'll probably regret keeping this little pest alive," She groaned at her soft heartedness,"But I don't think any of us has the will to kill him. So if we do decide to take him with us, how are we going to keep him from giving us away to the demon? And from stabbing us in the back?" She peered at the faces of her companions,"The farmers wouldn't like finding him here that's for sure..."

Seeing the conflicts of interests in the group, 4 Co. decides to put in his own opinion. "We could compromise and get the best of both worlds. I can use my dimensional manipulation to send it to the 'Pain Dimension'. That way, we don't kill it, but it will not have a chance to back stab us. Everybody wins."

The gravity sword wobbles away from Lurea's grasp. "She touched me... In places..."

((Sorry I haven't been on lately, busy weekend for me...))
As she listens to the goblins story, she begins to feel more excited for the days to come in their journey. A demon would be an interesting thing to fight indeed. But you can't really trust a goblin to always be saying the truth. They could lie to get out of any tight spot with out flinching. Though for him to come up with such a lie seemed out of his capabilities, she knew they had to be careful. "We will trust you are saying the truth for now little goblin. But you are going to come with us as we travel towards Mt. Scraggletooth. We'll let you go as soon as we confirm your story. But if we find that you were lying, we'll kill you, or maybe even give you over to 4 Co over there, I don't know which would be worse." She looks around the farm house for a bit of rope then turns to the group. "We'll bind his hands and drag him with us for now. If what he says is true and there is a demon causing all this trouble, we will have to start heading out now."

The Goblin eagerly agrees to your terms, the obvious relief evident upon his face. Even with his hands bound, he seems most helpful in guiding you to the cave entrance on Mount Scraggletooth. Weaving through wandering bands of goblin looters of 30 to 40 strong, you make your way to the entrance. "There it is, the cave I mean. Inside there you will find the boss, Azulas and his fanatical followers. Everyone else has been forced out, to bring treasure to the Demon King. You will still have to deal with his guards, but the majority of the Goblin tribe is gone, for now. I beg of you, force me to go no further. I have done as you asked. I hope that you succeed; my people have no wish to serve a demon. If he is vanquished, we will return to our caves, and bother your farmers no further. At least no more than is expected and accepted, you understand. We are goblins, after all."

"Goblins will be goblins," the bard smiled,"Well my friends, nothing left to do but plunge into the dark and meet some hungry creature and it's zealot servants, eh?" Karythelia twiddled her fingers and grabbed a near by stone. With a showy flourish she turned it into a shiny but gaudily decorated cup. "I think you should sit down for a while," the half elf said to the goblin nonchallantly and winked roguishly,"You can give this to your boss if we don't make it back. Though I advise you to put it near the bottom of his stash as phantasms don't last forever."

Warder drew his sword and stood beside Karythelia. "Looks like it's about time. Thank you for aiding us Goblin, we won't hold your pillaging habits against you... there are more pressing matters ahead of us anyways." With that he stepped ahead and tried to look deeper into the gloom of the cave while waiting for the others to move inside.

Burrowing Warder's sword for a moment, Lurea swings it down violently at the little goblin. The sword slices cleanly through the ropes that had been binding it. Returning the sword, Lurea leans down to the goblins height, so that they were eye to eye and says in a cheery voice, "Thank you for all of your help, even though we had to threaten you for it." Lurea then turns around and looks at her group. "We should hurry and take care of this demon, so that these goblins can get back in their hole." She then turns toward the cave entrance. "Warder, you stand point. Anything starts coming towards us, take it head on. 4 Co, you stay behind Warder an back him up. Me and Karythelia will take up the rear."

Warder nodded his agreement, and started into the darkness of the cave ahead of the rest of the group, his weapons at the ready for any unexpected surprises.
