"I hope so!" Selenil laughed, then nodded. "And sure!" He, off guard by the hug, was also blushing a little, though he had brushed it away in enough time.

Soleil blushed and exhaled a soft giggle as she watched Selenil blush, but managed to break her eyes from his once she brought herself before the large wooden table. Eyeing each orb of juicy goodness, she paused as her eyes came apon a mishapen one. Hey, Selenil...Does this orange look odd to you? She gestured for the boy to come closer as she pointed to the orange, which was more oblong in shape, and considerably shinier than the other objects it rested with.

Selenil took a glance, then a longer look, blinking at it. "...It does," he said. He picked it up slowly, and was surprised. "It's heavy, and hard..." He lifted it to his ear and listened, before giving it a tiny tap with his fingernail. "And...sort of hollow. Huh, wonder what it is."

Maybe...it's a candy orange? Soleil's eyes widened in thought, and a happy little noise escaped her. If it's a candy orange I vote we get it!! Without giving the boy a moment to object, the girl selected a couple different (real) oranges and paid for the three 'oranges', and quickly nudged Selenil from the shop. I love candies! I found candies in a shop over there, that you break open and there's liquid inside that tastes like almost everything!! There was a strawberry one, and a cherry one, and I had a coconut one, and ... This one will be so much better!! She giggled excitedly and continued to gently nudge the boy along, until they reached the destination she described as the perfect place for his music.

Selenil just laughed a little and followd along until they got there. "Ah, this is a nice spot indeed!" Selenil nodded and smiled. He sat down carefully, his tail circling around him as he sat, balancing the insturment in his lap.[
He thought a few moments, and gave each string a gentle pluck, before beginning to just play./color]

Soleil watched Selenil with unblinking orange orbs, and giggled to herself after a moment as she reached into her bag to fetch the definitely-not-an-orange orange. Have you ever played anything like this before, Selenil? Or, is it all just coming naturally to you? She tilted her head as she watched him, a bright smile apon her pale lips as she smoothed her hands over the 'orange', her fingers working to find a soft spot so that she could peel it open. When she didn't find anything, she frowned, and her gaze shifted from the boy to the item in her hands. What is this silly thing? Her tone was near a whine as she examined it, her lips forming into a pout now.

"I'm guesing on most of it," Selenil said with a little laugh as he continued to play nothing in particular. He paused to look at the egg, then blinked as it actualyl wiggled. "..Did it just move?"

Soleil's eyes widened as she nodded to Selenil. I-i think it did... Her eyes again unblinking she watched the egg as she offered it out to Selenil, not quite sure what to make of it anymore, since it was quite obviously not a candy-filled treat.

Selenil took it carefully, holding it up to the sky, looking at it. He blinked as it wiggled again, and he pulled it closer, pressing his ear against it. Then, he gasped. "It's no orange, it's an egg!"

An egg?! Soleil squeaked and covered her mouth with both her pale hands. Are you sure? She moved closer to Selenil so she could press her ear against it as well, though it didn't last long and she quickly pulled herself away.

Selenil nodded determindly, then tapped on the egg. It wiggled again, most deffiantely, and almost violently. "I think it's going to hatch!" HE said, almost excitedly.

Flushed with both excitement and a slight fear of what may come from the egg, Soleil wiggled, and rest her hands on her lap to keep herself from toppling over as she leaned closer. What do you think it is? she giggled, her eyes reflecting an almost child-like blend of curiosity and joy. Do you think it'll be cute? And fluffy? Oh! Can I keep it?

I hope it's cute and fluffy, she repeated, her voice a melodic laugh as she rested her hand carefully over the wiggly egg. Let's both keep it! Because I did buy it to share with you, she reminded the boy, a bright smile on her lips as she drew her eyes from the egg to meet Selenil's.

Selenil laughed then nodded. "Okay!" He blinked, looking down at it intently as a loud crack came from it, and a small piece of shell fell away. Then, slowly, another and another on the side, and Selenil watched as it all fell away, and instead of an orange egg, or some little furry creature was a tiny baby. Selenil stared a moment, then gasped and picked it up. "He's so cute!"
And the new hatched (born? whatever.) just blinked at him with new eyes.
