Xaldian watched as others danced. He didn'treally know anyone and he didn't really see those many without a partner. He decided toask the next person he sees for a dance. He started to glance around once more.

Hikari walked out to a lake, admiring the quietness. Why did I bother coming here, I don't even like dances. She sighed, and stared at the lake.

Rika wondered by Xaldian, while running her fingers gently through her bangs. She walked up by him and smiled. "Hello, I'm Rika."

Xaldian blinked a for a few seconds. His eyes gazed upon Rika who was running her fingers through her blonde hair at the time. When she spoke her name, it was filled with such beauty as an angel's wings. He paused for a moment then replied, "Hello, my name is Xaldian." He bowed and outstretched his hand towards her. "May I have a dance, lady Rika?"

Jack walked towards Hikari from the mansion. He was facing her back; he saw her staring at the lake. "Pretty, isn't it?" he said as he gazed at the suroundings while he waited for her to turn around.

Rika smiled and took his hand. "Of course you may." She looked into his eyes and blushed slightly then looked down with a small curl to her lips.

A little surprised by meeting someone, Hikari turned. "yeah, it's so beautiful and calm." She said, smiling."Hard to beleive we're at a masquerade.."

As the music struck up, Naza was left alone by the punch. She looked glumly as Xaldian and Rika swept away to the dance and pondered whether or not she should just go out and dance alone. Such pressing matters as these confused her so, Naza shrugged and put down her punch and twirled out, holding a phantom partner.

SArah being the unexpected random person looked around for something to do. She noticed a person dancing with themself and walked up to join. She grabbed her hand without even asking and begain ot dance. She knew she would be suprised so she said, "Don't worry, I'm not hitting on you. I'm just looking for something fun to do here. You seemed like you needed a partner and, well so did I."She was prepared to leave if she protested but remained in the dance until that time came.

Xaldain took Rika's hand and smiled under his mask. He was suprised that he could even breath under it. He walked over to the dance floor with her and put his left hand onto her waist lightly.

"My name is Hikari." She told him, smiling as well. "I understand what you mean. Dancing isn't really one of my stong suits. But this lake is so beautiful, I think it's worth it. It's just so hard to come across something so...serene."
