Her eyes slanted a bit and she lowered her head in a polite bow "Nice to meet you, alphess." she wanted to give off a good impression. Her dual wings twitched as she raised her head to look at Faizah. It wasn't a shock she would be asked questions and she gave a nod "I did belong to a clan. But I didn't like how it was being runned and challenged the alphess. I failed and as a punishment I was banished." she looks away sadly. Shaking her head "Do not think I wish to take on power or rule a clan of my own. She was just being unfair.." shifting her gaze.

"Hmm..." The spotted female gave a nod and continued. "Seems like a rather harsh punishment for challenging authority." While she herself kept it open to her clanmates to challenge her, she wouldn't give it up so easily... nor would she punish any losers to banishment. Loosing a fight would be enough of a blow to the ego.
"How was your clan run?" Faizah asked more out of curiosity rather than the need to know for her clan's safety.

She gave a nod "I suppose she was afraid I would continue to have an open personality and different belief." she tells Faizah while thinking about how to describe the past. She closes her eyes "Well the alphess had a tendancy of taking whatever she needed. She had no problem banishing members or threatening them.." come to think of it the alpha male was barely in charge.

"Ahhh..." Faizah gave a slow nod, understanding what Scarlet's clan was like now. "We, being my brother Amon and myself, like to take a more protecting approach. Our clan is the largest that I know of and is always growing, so there is a lot of land to keep track of and a lot of faces to remember. Even though some banthi prefer not to fight, I'd like to think that everyone contributes - be it hunting, watching cubs, or even scouting out more territory and finding more clans."

"I see. As the days past as I was here and watching I could tell this clan seemed fair. Along with being sturdy.." she nods and thinks about what else she could say. Her tail swayed about behind her and she tilt her head up looking up at the sky "May I pledge myself to this clan?" she would contribute whatever she would specialize in for their needs.

Faizah looked at her and thought, but had one more question before she would allow the female to be an official member of the Feral Clan. "One more thing: what are your specialties? Cub-watching? Scouting? Hunting? Fighting?" Despite what she chose, she just wanted to make sure that Scarlet would bring something to the table.

She thought about the list Faizah gave her and closed her eyes. What was she good at? Her tail flicked back and forth "I'm a pretty good hunter and I could also be a good fighter, despite my loss.." she shifts her gaze feeling like one day she wouldn't mind getting a rematch with that alphess if ever giving the chance. Looking back at her "I really think I qualify for most of the things."

"Good." Faizah smiled and shifted her weight on her paws. "In that case I welcome you, Scarlet. You are now family." She bowed her head to her in welcome. She would still keep an eye on her to make sure she stuck to her guns, but the alphess didn't doubt that she would.

She watched the alphess bow her head and welcome her. She only gave a faint smile and lowered her head as well "I thank you for accepting me." she said with a voice full of honesty. Her amberish-red eyes slanted a bit as she raised her head back up.

Now that Scarlet was a official member of her clan, she decided to delve into the more personal affairs that she thought the other female should know. "We've been a clan for a very long time now, years on years. Lately we saw a short falling out, but it appears most of the clan has come home. It's always growing and we're always expanding our territory to help feed new mouths."
But then she paused and took a deep breath. "However as of recent there has been some unsettle. I know not of where, or particularly who, but theres another clan nearby that posses a threat. A few of our members have left for it, and I've only heard mention of one name: Basilisk."

The dual winged female listened to the alphess and nodding a bit. So there was another clan that might oppose a threat? Her eyes slanted a bit and she looks to her "I see. Being that I am new and I have no blood relations to this clan. Perhaps I could possibly attempt to spy.." of course she would only do so if Faizah wanted her to do it. Tilting her head slightly to the right side "I could possibly gather further information..as if acting I'm interested in joining the clan."

"Hmmm..." There was a moment of silence where Faizah considered Scarlet's suggestion. It would help, no doubt, to see if she could find the clan and then maybe find Tethra for her. She had no allies, and from her appearance alone, you couldn't tell that she was a member of any clan whatsoever.
"Your offer is generous, but I need some time to think on it. I would hate to put you in any sort of danger, as I have no idea how aggressive they are. I will let you know when I reach a decision, however."

She gave a nod "Understood. I will await for your decision." she told the alphess. Her dual wings twitched as she remained silent wondering what they should talk about now? Perhaps she should go off and train a bit to get better at her fighting skills.

Faizah was grateful for the silence. As it stretched on and Scarlet pondered what to do, she was thinking what the best action regarding her suggestion was. Should she allow such a thing? There was no doubt in her mind that it would help, but she didn't know whether or not she wanted to risk Scarlet, the newest member of the clan.
However going herself was out of the question. She had new mouths to feed, and a cavern to run. Hunting, scouting, and reclaiming territory were the top most things on her list to get finished before she chased her own en devours.
After the silence had stretched for what seemed like hours, the alphess finally spoke with a sigh. "Alright, I've made my decision. You can go search for the other clan." She looked over at her, the worry on her features going unhindered.

The silence was a bit awkward for her though she suspected the alphess was making her decision. Her eyes just glanced around as she waited for the other female to speak. Her ears twitched once hearing Faizah speak and just gave a nod "Understood. I will go look for the other clan." she would try to act like she was interested in joining in order to gain information that was needed.
