Our marching show was pretty much the best and most original pf the state!!! Get this..
We played: "JUMP" by: Van Halen
Our band got first place in Regionals and State Competition. The only bad thing is that we got second in the southwest division.
I would love to see any band out there that can perform such an awesome song!

well, we dont get any real cred that ALL of our sports teams get. our football team sucks and they know that we are better and work harder. there was a guy in our band that played in marching band one year, then quit the next to join football because FOOTBALL WAS EASIER! one time wat was really funny was that we were marching past a croud out of our stadium after a game, and i overheard a girl that was pretty close to our block yell "dang! wat are they, the army!" craked me up. also, half the people in our stadium only come for the band because we are more entertaining, then they leave when we are done.

one of my class mates was talking about how they didnt like our Pirates of the carabbean show because we had a slower song in there and they didnt like it cuz "It killed the energy of the football game" i was like
"Well. its a show for comp. basicly, we didnt choose it so people at football games would like it, we chose it so that judges at marching comps would like it."
it was annoying. this year tho, everyone liked our show accept the judges cuz we had a crowd pleasing show. we played stuff like "Hit the road Jack" and "Go daddy-o" it was a fun show.

yeah...my sister always used to say that to me. i was like...the show isn't really for you guys, it's for our competition. then she suggested that we learn TWO shows...one for football games and one for competition..people need to know that the band isn't only there for the football team...
