Watari left Kaoru's side to go over to Kyouya. "Is that so? You gave too much blood, didn't you, Kyo-kun. I thought I told you to think. Honestly, you should have called. I'm O... a universal donor. So I could have helped too you know. Baka," Watari muttered, even as he fussed over his a friend a moment. "Anyway, that aside, I'm glad Kaggy-san is doing better. Perhaps... once things have calmed down... you can change from helping Kaggy-san to helping Kaoru-san. I think he's blaming himself."
Kaoru was indeed, blaming himself, because for the first time in his life, he had really been upset with someone... and had wanted them to suffer. It just happened the suffering had become life threatening in the form of her being shot... and the shock of it was rather obvious.

Alcy gave a huge sigh of relief and slumped forward, before springing out of her chair and running over to Kyouya and Watari. "Is she conscious? Can I go see her?" she asked, jumping up and down a bit, in both excitement and worry.
((WHICH GUESS WAS IT, DAMMIT? D:
And, on a completely unrelated note, I have a feeling that Kyouya in scrubs would be... well... what's the word i'm looking for... um.... DAMN SMEXY.
Yeah, that might be it.))

((Alcy--I totally agree with you (about the Kyouya thing). Unfortunately, since he's Kaggy's--oops, I almost revealed it, didn't I? Hmmm....I guess you'll just have to find out soon xd
And, since Kyouya is not deigning to reply, you're just going to have to wait until he posts. I can just imagine your brain right now...if it hasn't exploded once again.
I don't think Kaggy is conscious yet, though....

The Shadow King sighed, shaking his head. "This was not a matter I could call you for, Watari," he said, reaching up and taking off the bandana. His eyes looked to Alcy. "She's not quite ready to accept visitors yet. But I will come and notify you once she is conscious," he said, bowing to her slightly.
His eyes drifted over to Kaoru, who he could see was sitting off by himself. Grabbing his keys from his pocket, he took a card off them and handed it to Watari. "Take Okami and Alcy to the cafeteria to get food for you three... I'm going to talk to Kaoru," he said, moving through them and to the younger Hitachiin. Kyouya stopped a short distance in front of Kaoru, hands in his pockets.
"If you're going to beat yourself up about this, you've come to the right place," he said, actually joking with him.
((*goes to go buy doctor scrubs*))

Okami sighed audibly as Alcy and herself were herded off to the cafeteria by Watari. She wasn't very hungry and so the obligation to eat made her feel rather like some sort of livestock.
As she treaded through the frighteningly clean hallways of the hospital, Okami was struck by the feeling that if she wasn't still reeling a little from the whole "oh-my-god-one-of-my-really-close-friends-just-got-shot" thing, she would have been strongly tempted to stray into the "Employees Only" sections. She was also struck by a sorrowful feeling in her gut because of the familiarity of the hubbub of nurses and gurneys.
Stupid, idiot brother...
On repulse, she checked to make sure that her worn black ski cap was atop her head. It was, and she took it off and began fingering the fraying pom-pom.

Okami's eyes darted once again towards the ever-tempting "Employees Only" sign. The idea of going to a cafeteria with questionable meats and coughing patients really wasn't the least bit appealing. And you know what? It was probably just some silly "hospital regulations" that said Kaggy couldn't recieve vistors just yet. Kaggy was Kaggy. Kaggy probably wanted company.
She glanced covertly at Alcy. She felt a twinge of guilt for leaving her friend in the dust, but sneaking one person past hospital moniters was hard enough.
With no regard for authority, Okami swiped a white coat off a peg on the wall and swept into the "Employees Only" region of Ootori hospital.
It took some work to find Kaggy's room. Okami blessed her height and mature looks many a time in those hallways as she dodged legitimate doctors who legitimate things to do. And then finally...
She knocked three times.
"Uh, hello? Nurse."
Cautiously, she slipped through the doorway. Kaggy lay on a hospital bed, hooked up to numerous I.V.s and moniters. She looked pale, but very much alive.
"Kaggy?" Okami wasn't sure if her friend was awake. "It's, um, Okami."

Kyouya tried to decide mentally how to inform the others of the current findings. A part of him was glad to actually have found this information, but the other half... All these years he had grown up with his cousins and never once met or been around his real mother.
That makes sense as to why Nee-san was always so kind to me and always fretted over me, he thought, staring down at Kaoru, waiting for his answer. He probably should have answered questions from his friends first, but he wanted to make sure the younger Hitachiin was going to be all right.

Kaggy woke up, her eyes blurring, before her head fell back. She groaned. I hate my fast wake up rate, she thought as she glared at the nearby nurse trainee. I can't have a fast healing rate, no, but I just have to have a fast regaining conscious rate.

Not seeing much of a response in the boy, Kyouya dug into his scrubs pocket and pulled out a different card. He forced it into Kaoru's hand. "Give that to a nurse, she'll bring you to where I am," he said, needing to get back to check on his Imouto-chan. The Shadow King turned and shuffled away through the doors and towards Kaggy's room.
Out of all the hospitals run by the Ootori's, this one was the best. A nurse approached him--an older woman who had known him since he was a boy--and walked along side him.
"You need to get some food into your system, Kyouya. After two bags of blood, it's not good to be up and about without keeping up your blood sugar," she said, holding out a plate of pasta to him. The food at every hospital was gourmet and better than anything one could ever have at any restaurant... or hospital for that matter.
The Shadow King nodded slightly, taking the plate and eating a bit of it as they walked. "Thank you," he said, munching quietly for a moment.

The male orderly trembled as Kaggy glared at him. She tried to smile gently--it came out looking more like a snarl--and said, "Why don't you pull these needles OUT of me? Or, better yet, put me back to sleep, so I can finally get some rest." As the orderly just stood there, shaking, she groaned. Looking at the door, she saw Kyouya standing there, holding a plate of pasta. "What are you looking at?" she asked rudely.
