The only way for the Guild to be more active isn't to get the inactive posters to post; it's to make the current posters who actually check the guild to reply and post new topics. ninja

I try to post as much as i can and I was hoping the Tournament Challenge would get people motivated. Still, real life does slow the guild. Hopefully we're all training when we're not online. 3nodding

Hm... *snaps fingers* I got it... ADVERTSING!!! *gOES TO aDIDAS AND pEPSI COMPANY*
But anyway, what I really suggest is make the home page more entertaining. Like maybe an art, or us in gi's. I'm also a decent sprite editor (I'm actually making a Dan Hibiki web comics (from Street Fighter) and I could actually make some martial arts pics if you want me to.)

a) the guild is fairly active at the moment anyways.
b) Mythic the guild captain has been away for.... 7 months. He's the only person that can edit the homepage..

I saw someone selling a guild yesturday, perhaps if we all chipped in and bought a new one we could set up a leader who will be present. Then we will have 2 good Martial Arts guilds.
Just a suggestion.

Then we will have 2 good Martial Arts guilds. Just a suggestion. I own couple of spare guilds but I'm not willing to give up on mythic yet. We've got a good guild here, lots of active members, lots of informative posts, and quite a fat guild balance (not that we can use it). There isn't anything that really needs to be done by the captain, the homepage could do with being updated but it isn't urgent. Myself and marty have been handling and can carry on handling any guild issues that need dealing with. So I dont think we need to be thinking of martial arts crew version 3 just yet

type thing. the member who posted the most gets to be on the home page....Im not sure if that'll work though

Why wouldn't that work? Some type of contest and the winner gets stuff. I can possibly chip in a free avy art for the winner.

It is a nice idea i theory, but we dont want people posting spam just to get stuff. Maybe if it was more like Marty's tournament? Get stuff for doing something in relation to martial arts. In the ABG at the moment they are running an essay competition, maybe somebody could run a smaller monthly version of that. Every month guild members can submit a short article on any aspect of martial arts, these are then voted on by members and the winner gets stuff.
