((sorry for the wait, I was dealing with some issues...))
Seto rose an eyebrow at her reaction. "It was supposed to be a compliment. I see now that you were simply compensating(sp?) for your lack of manners..." He said getting very irritated. He reminded himself why he was there and he surpressed his annoyance and cleared his throat. "I didnt mean it like that..." He said in a better tone. "I guess its just rare to find such a beauty who seems to share the same intreasts as myself..." He said, trying to keep a nice tone and expression. He could really care less about art, but he was smart and coy and knew what to say to swoon most women. But as he's learned with dealing with her father and now her, the Roberts arent like all people.
Sam rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. She didnt know what to say now. Usually after a few insults or an argument they would simply walk away from each other but now they were stuck sitting next to each other in this awkward silence and who knows how long that would last.
"Hey theres that girl I met yesterday." Mokuba said eagerly, getting up and walking across the room up to her. A blush crossed his face as he began talking to the young girl who must have been around his age.
Sam was about to call him back, not wanting to be left alone with Atem until she noticed Mokuba blushing and acting nervous. She had never seen him like this. She giggled to herself. Well that was a sight. "I guess I havnt noticed him getting older..." She said mostly to herself.

(( I just got to SpeicheR!! But my internet in my room still isn't working xP;; so I need to use the MWR until then. The keys stick, so if my spelling isoff, forgive me. Which iswhy its so short because its pissing me off... ))
This guy was strange. Very strange. He would insult her, but then compliment her, as if in a pattern. She has never experienced this behaviorbefore, especially after she insulted him just earlier, well, not quite, but she was rude. This guy seemed to be almost determined to flatter her. But why? Did he know who she was or wasthis just random? Either wayshe was not impressed with flattery.
"Why are you trying to impress me?" She scruffed,crossing her arms over her chest and smirking as if finding this hilarious.
Sitting in strange silence, Atem sipped some water as he stared around the room awkwardly. He's never been around her like this, usually they were fighting if they wre near eachother. Maybe they werent because they were forced to sit next to eachother and had to make the best out of it? Yes,that had to be it...
Looking over as Mokuba excused himslf from the table, he watched as he made his way towards a little girl across the room. It was obvious he had a crush on her by how much he was blushing. How nice it felt to have a crush, an innocent crush. It was strange, he has known Mokuba for years now, he already liked girls? "Yea, I know what you mean..." Atem replied automatically.

Seto's eyebrow twitched. Why couldnt she be as easy as all the others. She was just complicating things. "I dont need to try, I'm pretty impresive no matter what I do." He said arrogantly. He was good at being coy but he couldnt entirely surpress his natural arrogance and ego. "After all, I am..." Seto was about to brag about being the CEO of a mulibillion dollar company. However if she knew Kaiba corp was a game company she could probably piece together that he was using her. "...rich." He finished. He at least had to mention that. He was sure once he said that she would be very interested in him. His mind was jumbled, trying to plan what to say next. Perhaps he could ask her out? But he couldnt keep her in the city, too many people would recognize him. The price to pay for being famous and sexy.
Sam smiled at Yugi as he agreed with her but she was soon reminded who she was with so she looked a bit surprised at herself for doing such a thing before glaring at him and turning her head away angrilly. "You dont know him as well as I do. He's my little brother after all..." She said, as if she couldnt help but to try and start another argument or challenge with him. She frowned, looking over at mokuba. She has been so busy dueling lately she's barely spent any time with her brothers at all. She always wanted to be in tournaments because she wanted to get better and of course because she was looking for another excuse to see Yugi.

(( Speicher is the place I'm staying at, and an MWR is like the recreation center here.They have computers, phones, movies, they even have a PS3, it's pretty sweet. ))
Smirking fading, Andy raised an eyebrow suspiciously at him, there was something about him that she didn't trust. With the way he was acting, Andy didn't know if this was all an act, a ploy, or what, but he looked like he was coming off as desperate. He was trying so hard to impress her, why? She's being rude to him, but yet he still tries, almost pathetically. "Oh, so, just because I'm a female I must be a money-grabbing whore and should be impressed by your money?" She scuffed and turned around. "I don't know what your up to, but it's not working. I just want to be left alone."
Sam's comment snapped Yugi back to reality as he realized, once more, who he was sitting by. His rival. And of course, she had to be rude at him, and he had to keep his guard. He let it down for a second and that's what happened, well, it wont happen anymore. "Your little brother but how much have you been there for him?" A low remark, a very low remark on his behalf. Afterwards he even regreted saying it and a part of him wanted to apologize. But he couldn't, this was Sam, he couldn't show weakness, and he especially couldn't take back what he said.

"Well all the women I've been seeing are like that... perhaps you would like to prove me wrong over dinner?" Seto tried asking her out. It had never taken this long. Not that he dated many women. He simply dated a few for his appearence to the press. Dating a few models made him look good. They meant nothing more to him then that. In fact he could never remember going on more then one date with any of them. He had no intereast in settling down and getting married. He was too focoused on his work and sure as hell didnt want to put up with some woman around.
Sam turned back to face him, her eyes glaring daggers. She didnt want to answer that question because she knew she wasnt there for Mokuba or Seto even though they were her only family. "He's here with me now isnt he? Besides, youre an only child, what the hell would you know..." She spoke in a growl and yelled in her head that she hated him. She wanted to prove herself to Atem so much but still she couldnt find anything wrong with him and he pointed out all her issues.

"Your forgetting the fact that going out to dinner with you would prove your point." Andy pointed out as she crossed her arms over her chest defensively. Why was he doing this? And why was he so eager to have a date with her? Andy had no facts other than he was just some ordinary guy trying to go on a date, but she had a weird feeling about this guy. This his intentions were elsewhere. "The answer is no, and to your next uestion, the answer is also no, and after that... no. Why are you so desperate to go out with me?"
Sam's comment threw him off, twisted a nerve, a nerve that made him defensive around her. Why was he so eager to show her up? This wasn't like him, why was he acting like this? The answer was clear as day to him, but he refused to look at it, as he knew it would only sadden him. "Yes, your with him now, but hat about when you deul or when your obssessed with winning?"

Sam glared at him, about to retort that she wasnt obseessed with winning, only beating him. But she stopped and leaned back in her chair, resting her arm on the back of the chair. She smirked. "Youre pathetic. Are you really trying to get me to quit dueling by making me feel guilty about my brother? Are you that scared?" She said and snickered. She couldnt take the guilt but when she turned it around and thought Atem was just trying to be sneaky she felt better, more arrogant too.
Seto sighed. He hoped he wouldnt have to get to this point. But there was only one option left. "Thats a shame. I guess I have nothing to entertain me now. Perhapps I'll buy a museum, ah this ones good.... and shut it down..." He said with a smirk on his face, turning around. He had no other option. He figured once he could flaunt his cash around she would fall right into his arms. Who knows he might even get lucky. Not that it mattered, as long as she went home and told her father what a wonderfull man Seto Kaiba was. Well once he told her who he really was.

Upon hearing Seto talk about buying the museum, then shutting it down, Andy felt her heart jump immediantly as she perked up, however she did manage to keep looking calm. He was joking, right? He wouldn't actually close down a museum just to get back at her for not going on date? What did he want out of her? Why did he want to date her so bad? There had to be a reason behind this, a ploy, but what could happen from dating her? She was so confused, but right now she felt torn. Turning down this man now meant the possibility of loosing her favorite museum. It felt kind of strange to do something so severe just for not accepting a date, but she didn't know how desperate he was. Will she risk it? "What do you want from me? Why do you want to date me so bad? There has to be reason, no one would go to such lengths..."
Pretending not to be offended by her response, Atem stared forward blankly as he reached for his glass of water and sipped it nonchalantly. "Who said anything about being scared? I'm only pointing out the obvious." He wouldn't give her the satisfaction of knowing he was hurt or offended by what she said or did. But what was tearing him up inside was that he was. A part of him was really hurt by what she said to him after all these years, because he didn't want her to act that way towards him. He wanted her to act.. he didn't know, different, he still refused to accept hs feelings, even though they were pratically slapping him in the face. How long they've been there, he didn't know, but he had a feeling they've been there for a while nestled deep inside of him. But only now were they coming out to roar because she was close to him, they were here together, never before have they seen eachother so much in one day. In one week.

Seto smirked, looking over his shoulder at her now that he had her attention. Shutting down a museum didnt seem like a lot to Seto, after all he has done much worse to get what he wants. "I dont know what youre talking about. Its just a simple date..." He said though his tone was mischivous. This girl was going to be a challenge but he was sure he would win either way. He thought a woman's heart was easy to win over. he just hoped she wouldnt stalk him or anything when this was all over.
Sam pouted angrilly. Why was he never phased by anything she said and yet he was able to get her so upset and angry? She just wanted to yell at him and demand that he like her and notice something good about her. "whatever. You have no idea what your even talking about." She said, looking away from him again.

(( Sorry I haven't replied, my roommate wont let me sleep so I'm soooo tired. ))
His tone was the first thing she noticed, it sounded... wrong, it was certain to her that he was up to something. But what, and why? What could he gain from dating her? And especially, who was this guy? Crossing her arms over her chest, Andy narrowed her eyes at him. "I wasn't born yesterday, you are up to something." She stated simply, but she didn't know how to get him to confess to what he was up to. Unless, "Your a business man, right?"
"Whatever you say," Atem replied, sounding unphased by anything she said. underneath though he was strangeling himself, what was wrong, why was he acting this way towards her? He didn't want to, he didn't like acting like this towards her, and he didn't want her to act that way towards him too. But what could he did? He felt like a little kid again who had a crush on a girl in his class, and the only way to hide it would be to tease her.

Seto thought for a moment. He could continue his lies but now that he thought about it, if she didnt know who he was then she couldnt tell her father how great and unselfless he was. "Yes..." he said, turning around fully and walking towards her. "Which is why I am as persistant as I am. I always get what I want... now about that date..." He said, switching the subject back. He wasnt letting her leave without going out with him or this stupid museum crumbling down.
Sam huffed and crossed her arms. "Youre so.... so.... infuriating!" She said as she stood up ready to storm out. Unfortunately they were approached by some kids asking them for autographs. Sam smiled warmly. But of course Atem had more people asking for his autograph and complimenting him so she finished and he still had a crowd adoring him. She growled and plopped back down into her seat.

(( Gag, sorry I haven't been on, so much stuff going on right now. It's bothersome to go to the MWR now because I work 12 hours. But once when I get internet in my Chu I'll be on everyday. ))
"It's funny, my dad is also a business man," Andy stated matter of factly, giving him a sly grin. "This would have absolutely nothing to do with him, right? Especially since I know my dad just went to a business meeting with another company, who is trying to buy him, and if I know my dad, he told them to shove it." She took a couple steps closer to him. "And isn't it a good idea to get to him through his daughter, hm?"
As Sam stood up ubruptly, that definately caught Atem's attention, he turned towards her in shock about ready to stand up himself. However, before he could and before Sam could even leave, a huge crowd of fans gathered around them, their hands poking at any part of them as they could, pictures being shoved in their faces for autographs. No matter how many times this has happened to him, Atem still wasn't use to it. With one small glance at Sam, noticing her sitting back down, Atem smiled nervously and started signing and shaking hands, which seem to go on forever. Until they all finally left, finally, and Atem was back to sitting next to a very grumpy Sam.

Seto gave a long sigh and glared at her. He ran a hand through his hair in a dramatic fasion and then looked back at her. "Alright fine listen. I was the one that had a meeting with your father but its not what you think... My name is Seto Kaiba. I own the best gaming corporation in all of Japan. That meeting didnt matter to me... but I always learn a bit about these men before I meet them. I saw a picture of you in the file and well... you know... I thought you were cute..." He said, and it was really hard for him to say, even ifit was all lies. "I dont date much because of all these pathetic woman throwing themselves at me so I thought you would be different. And my assumption was corect..."
Sam glanced at Atem, giving him a harsh glare. It bothered her so much that he ahd more fans and theat everyone thought he was going to beat her. They were silent again and Sam was desperately trying to think of something to get her attention. "You wont have that many fans after tomorrow, when I beat you." She said and smirked.

Lifting an eyebrow, Andy stared Seto up and down, questioning herself wither she should believe him or not. It was all to well a big coincidence, and the only reason she could come up with why he wanted to go out with her so bad was to get back at her dad. But in the back of her mind she was questioning, would someone go through all that trouble? He sounded sincere. Either he was a big jerk and a good actor, or he had a heart and had a strange way of showing it. But either, it was only a date, what harm can it be? And she might just learn more about his intentions. Andy sighed, arms falling to her side, "Fine..."
"Don't be so overconfident," Atem stated out loud, trying to hide his annoyance with a bored tone. "Maybe you would have more fans if you were more humble." Atem wanted to slap himself after saying that and silently cursed himself in his head. Not only did it sound incredible stupid out loud, but he knew he wasn't making anything better between them. But why did he even care? He knew why, but he was stuck between wanting her and not wanting her and hating himself for wanting her. Was this madness? Or was this normal?
(( How about you have Sam storm off and Atem can go and chase her?))

Seto felt relieved he didnt have to try convincing her further. She was such a difficult woman. How would he put up with her? He mentaly cursed himself for even thinking of this plan. But he wasnt going to let her father blow off his company like that. He forced a smile. "Good." he said even though she obviously wasnt enthusiastic about it. What the hell was wrong with her? Every other woman in the world would be thrilled to be in her place. Whatever. "Well go home and get ready, you cant possibly go like that. I'll pick you up in two hours..." He said and turned around to leave.
Sam glared at him and stood up, slamming her chair back in. "I dont need YOU lecturing me about how I should behave. I can do whatever the hell I want to!" She yelled at him and stormed out angrilly into the hall. She didnt get far before leaning against the wall and sulking, hanging her head low and feeling miserable and infuriated.
