Freya only smiled and nodded back in thanks, but he hesitated to talk to her again about the horse, she seemed to really like the animal. But Freya needed it more if he was going to continue to look for the Maiden of Wind, well, continue without his feet hurting the whole time. So Freya stood up, dusting off his clothes gently, took his book back from the horse when she started nipping at it after finishing with her carrot, and turned back to the girl. He smiled gently at her quickly, nodding once in greeting,
"This horse," He paused to pat the horse on the mussel, "might she be for purchase?" He asked, his voice smooth like silk and never wavering. He tuned out the market noise, finding it ear throbbingly noisy and rather unimportant.

Sarah stood up, as soon as she noticed that her horse was being achknowledged. She turned to her left, and her guess on who it was, was right. She studdered to find the right words. She wanted to tell him that her horse wasn't for sale, but at the same time she didn't want to get scolded by her father for turning down a potential buyer.

"Yes, she is for sale. Umm... She is a really good horse. Energetic, and.... she loves to eat... alot. Do you really want to buy her? She seems to like you a lot."
Sarah said. She managed to say the last couple senteces without pausing or looking uncomfortable. She knew that if she didn't play business she wasn't going to get anywhere with him.

Freya took a moment to process her words, and in them he got the gist of how she felt. "Hmm, do you know of the story about the Maiden's of Power?" He asked, though, that's just what he called the girls, there was no real name for them all. He was off topic, yes, but if they knew more about one another it would seem as if she was giving the horse away to a friend instead of a stranger. Though now that he thought about it, this girl could have been the one he was searching for all along, in which case he wouldn't even need the horse.

Dark clouds rolled into view on the horizon, thundering with rage. It seemed as if it engulfed it's path in a barrier of water. Katasaku watched as the beautiful mountains that once stood noble and proud over the horizon became hidden in the cloak of rain. He let out a sigh and tightly wound his tattered scarf around his mouth before slipping on a pair of thick woolen gloves. The winds started to flail about, sending a tingling sensation up Katasaku's body as it come into contact with the open flesh on his cheeks. Down below Katasaku spotted a small village, observing the small trails of smoke drifting off clearly giving away the presence of life. He knelt down and picked up his satchel, slinging it over one shoulder while snapping the large wooden Bo staff from it's holster on his back. He twirled the stave about before planting it firmly into the loose soil below.

As he made his way down into the valley he grimaced at the growing presence of rain. He started to quicken his pace, walking a bit faster to avoid getting drenched. Upon arrival in the village he obtained directions to the nearest inn. Bystanders looked on in curiosity as he entered the inn. Katasaku was the least bit normal by any standards. He was draped from head to toe in clothing, barely showing any skin. A rather large scimitar-like blade was strapped to his waist alongside a Kukri that tapped loosely against his thigh as he walked. As soon as he had entered the inn he dropped himself into a secluded chair, letting out a sigh of relief as he kicked back and propped his feet up. Slowly he unwound his scarf, taking in a deep breath of the damp tavern air. Doing so proved to be a mistake as he hacked out a violent cough, clutching his chest in agony as a searing pain tore through his lungs. As the spasm in his lungs calmed he reached up to the corner of his lips as he felt something trickling out the side. Drawing his fingers across the liquid he sighed as the familiar sight of crimson blood stained his fingers. He pulled a small stretch of cloth out from his satchel and quietly cleaned the trail off before settling back down and folding his arms across his chest.

Sarah looked at the man, a little bit confused at the suddenly asked question.

"Maidens' power...Ahh, yes. I do know it. Before my grandfather passed on, he was real big on that story. He told me it about it so many times. He said it was true and that i should believe in it too. He said it was in my blood... whatever that ment, but everyone around here knows about it as an old wives' tale. Nothing more then that. A story to give hope to children, that is all."

Sarah finaly stopped her talking. It was odd for her to be so familiar with somebody she barely knew, but there was something about him that... was diferent. It seemed to be calling out to her, like there was more to him then met her eyes.

Freya listened intently, 'In her blood...' He mentally noted. So this woman, this girl, had some kind of relation to what he was searching for. She could have even been the one he was looking for, though that was highly unlikely. Of course, the gods did work in mysterious ways, he shouldn't be suprised, even if he was, if she really did turn out to be her. But it was best not to space out in the middle of a conversation. He nodded once, making his decision, he was going to stay in this village, if only for a little while longer.
"In that case, I will not be needing your horse." He said, patting the beast beside him once again. "If we should ever meet again, my name is Freya." He finished, and made his exit, getting lost in the sea of people. Now if only he had a straw hat of some kind, that would have made his exit more dramatic, cooler even. He felt like impressing the girl, which was strange, he hadn't ever wanted to do that to any other woman before.

Star and her mother reached the marketplace quickly, seeing as they were pretty fast walkers. And anyways, you want to get there fast so you can get good merchandise. Her mother gave Star the job of buying the thread, seeing as it was Star who needed it. Star skipped along and went into the one of the small shops. She picked out a few colours, all of which matched the dresses she tore the most. Star went to the merchant and paid for them, and came out of the shop smiling because she did somethign without getting distracted. Star went and sat down on the edge of the fountain, to wait for her mother. She got caught up in watching the shoppers to notice the anyone or anything else.

Sarah watched as he walked away. It was wierd how it took place, almost like he wasn't there for long enough or that it didn't seem like he was there at all. Everything went so fast. She plopped back down into her small wooden chair. It was nearing mid day and the sun was beating down in much warmer rays. Sarah wiped the sweat from her brow, but she was in deep thought. She didn't notice that many people had gone by, asking her about the prices of items she was selling, or that the amount of costumers nearly died out as people left the marketplace. It seemed that a storm was approaching from the West and that that was the main reason for the sudden reduction of people.

Father and Samual were soon back with two potatoe sacks, full of items that they had bought. The three of them quickly loaded the remaining goods back into the wagon and set off for home. Sarah was still in deep thought, but the only one seeming to notice was Samual.

"I noticed you didn't sell the horse. Did you tell that one man that wanted to buy it 'no', that she wasn't for sale?"

Sarah quickly snapped, and came back to reality.

"No," Sarah whispered, keeping he voice as low as possible. "he refused to buy her. Said he didn't need her! What i don't get is why would he ask if the horse was for sale, then not buy it..."

Samual gave Sarah a dirty look, meaning he didn't believe her. Father stopped pulling the wagon, and turned to Sarah.
"I guess she's yours now. Don't just overwork her, ok?"
Father tossed Sarah new leather reins, that he apparently just bought. Sarah quickly exchanged the rope that was around the horse's nose and neck with the new black leather reins.
"Ok!"
Sarah said, jumping onto her new horse. Before he father could say anymore, Sarah was off like the wind, in the direction of the forest, to the west. His name ran through her mind over and over again.

Katasaku snapped awake, brushing a few locks of hair away from his eyes. "Ugh, must have dozed off.." Though, as if on queue, he once again clutched his chest as he violently hacked up a mixture of saliva and blood. Nothing like the feeling of a knife being plunged into your lungs to wake you up after a light nap. After he regained his composure he rose to his feet while adjusting the leather belt that held his ragged scabbards to a more comfortable posistion. He reached down and drew his longsword slightly from it's scabbard, sighing as he eyed it's dullness.

After exchanging pleasantries with the innkeeper he obtained directions to the village Blacksmith. Thankfully the storm had yet to reach the small village, though the air was thick and moist. Katasaku trudged through the crowds, arriving at the seemingly deserted Blacksmith. A large burly man with a bushy beard stood over an anvil as Katasaku entered the Smithy's shop. The man wiped the blackened soot from his hands as best he could on his apron before shaking hands with the young swordsman and offering his services. Katasaku snapped his longsword out of it's scabbard, twirling it about slightly before plunging it into the soft soil below. He rested his palm upon the top of the hilt, cocking his head to the side slightly. " Might I make use of your grinding wheel?" The Smithy nodded and pointed off towards a secluded corner in the shop. Katasaku lazily snagged the blade from the sands and wandered over to the wheel, flopping down onto the stool and starting the long process of sharpening his blade.

((man, no one's posted here for a whole two days...))

Star's mother found her by the fountain and scolded her for not meeting where they agreed. Star wasn't listening and just handed her the thread. Her mother only had a few groceries, and insisted she could carry them herself. Star agreed with this, and they started walking North, back towards their farm.

Star noticed the three people gathered by a tavern and one of the males had his arm on the girl. Star felt like she wanted to help, but her mother ushered her away, telling her it was none of their business. Star felt bad about leaving the girl there; what would become of her?

Star quickly lost track of that thought, in with the jumble of all the new ones coming in about some wildflower on the side of the path, or some farm animals out to graze. She was excited about being out of the usual sights, and Star made sure she saw everything.

[I was waiting for Jeffffffyyyyyyyy. Loserface hasn't posted. HOMEHGAWD! Guess what. :] ]

Riho eyed the other man unsure of the kid. If he wanted, he could tear him from limb to limb. Though that wouldn't exactly get him far. Especially considering the fact that he had no ultimate reason. Then he felt it. Like someone was staring at him.

He slowly turned his head and saw a girl being pulled away. There was something about her that seemed familiar. He smirked slightly staring into her eyes. Then, his mouth began to form words. He didn't say them out loud because he didn't want the other male to think he was some rapist.

'You... Are... Mine.' His lips moved slowly just to make sure his point was clear. He knew she had to of gotten the message so he turned his attention back to Fate and Ceallach.

((aha. rofl ))

While Star was looking around, one thought came back to her. One visual thought, actually. When they were back in town, by the three people, one of them had turned to look at her. Her mouthed three words that stood out. You... are... mine... Star's nose scrunched up in thought, the words replaying in her head. What had he meant?

Sarah had arrived at the edge of the forest. The smell of pine filled her nose as a rush of cold air flew through her. She felt chillled as her fingers went numb. Sarah pulled on the reins of her horse as she slowly came to a stop. The storm was near, and by the looks of it, it seemed powerful. Sarah estimated that by the time it go to the village that it would be nearly mid-afternoon.

Sarah continued farther into the forest, picking wild berries and pine needles for incense she made with her mother. She felt the solf drizzle of the rain on her head as she pulled the reins for another stop. She grabed a berry from off of a tree branch beside her and fed it to the horse.
"We should get going soon. Father will want to know the weather report!"
Sarah laughed as she pulled the reins of her horse once again, and sped back off toward town. It felt as though the cold air no longer existed as Sarah ran back into the sun. People where shouting at Sarah for riding so fast through the town, but she didn't hear them. The wind was too loud.

After Freya's oh so quick exit, he had ended up sitting down again. He may have looked perfectly fine, but he was totally wiped out. He did notice the storm that seemed to be coming in, but for now Freya needed to keep from passing out so that he could find an Inn later on. Freya had just finished reading his book, once again, and was all ready to get back up and find that Inn he needed. He was just about to stand up when a very fast moving brown (was it actually brown though?) something, flew past him. Freya had all the time to blink before it was gone and flying past other people. He looked after it, it had been a horse, a very familiar horse with a very familiar rider. 'My she's going awfully fast...'

((Yes, a dark, chocolate brown.))

Sarah's horse seemed to pick up speed as they ran through the town center. Sarah steered her horse left and right to keep her from experiencing an unwanted injury. She kept her attention in front and only to where she was going, then something caught her eye. She had seen something familiar out of her peripheral vision. She quickly turned her head to notice the man the she had met earlier.

Time seemed to slow as Sarah's mind went blank. A gust of wind brought her back into reality as she faced foreward once again and pulled on her horses reins, hard. Sarah nearly ran into a group of wagons on their way out of the marketplace. She was lurched forward as her horse came to a stop. The horse was angry at the sudden pull on the reins. It bucked a couple of times leaving Sarah the only option of jumping off the horse.

"Sorry girl!!"
Sarah yelled as her horse drove off in the opposite direction in which they came. Sarah sighed and turned to the people she had almost crashed into.

"I'm really sorry!!"
Sarah said picking up a couple of the droped items that fell out of the wagon. She made a quick turn around and noticed that he was watching her. She felt her face go pink and cursed at herself for being so stupid.
