-Never use it as a tool of rape. (Our section leader does 'Instrument Rape'. He takes his Clarinet and slowly strokes is up your leg. )
-Never use is a storage device for sheet music. It's no going to end well. D;

Never throw your Sousaphone at the band director when he pissed you off. It'll miss if only by a foot. (my friend did that it was a funny story)

CrapOla11 Never try to balance your clarinet on your palm, therefore, it shall smack you in our face as it comes down. Never lean on your clarinet. Therefore, it shall somehow slip and stab your nose.. Never drop your clarinet mouthpeice first, therefore, it shall chip lol! Never leave a random drum sitting in an open area. Therefore, a retarded clarinetist shall run towards that area not noticing a drum...and trip and smash their shin.. ^-^

mr-miserable never hold you clarinet regaular cause it will randomly fall in half (wait does that only happen to me) never get a drummer mad at you cause well they have drumsticks. never bein the front of a line goin fowards backwards (if you understand that) and fall becuase your friends will laigh and trample you and your instrument
Its happened to one of our leadership's Clarinet's too, his reaction was great, 'Holy Mother of God!'

never blow your Brass instrument when your friend put his/her hand in the bell. you'll hurt him/her if you play Baritone and you play as loud as you can. I've try it.

I don't know if this was mentioned, but...
If you ever are near the color guards in marching band, try to stay out of their way. Don't use your instrument to attack them xp
And don't ever leave your instrument on a stand (small instruments like flutes or something, cuz my friend did and she tripped over the stand and got a dent on her flute. It was new too sweatdrop ) if you have a bigger instrument don't leave it on the ground.

Never ever sworn fight with a trombone slide, slide and spit valvels will mess up.
Never rest your slide on the person in front of yous head. (people keep doing this to me becase I'm the shortest person in my section.)
Don't dance around with your trombone before you check to see if it's locked.
Don't play a trombone without holding the slide right after you oil it. It will go flying across the room.
WATCH OUT FOR FLYING WATER BOTTLES ON THE FIRST/SENIOR BUSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never act like your flute is a really large middle finger it will get stuck
Never chew on and oboe reed it hurts when you have to play on it and its broken
never act like your going to throw you flute or oboe you might actually do that
Never lick the inside of your flute its gross(it was a dare from my friend in the marching band we got bored on the bus so we played truth or dare but mostly dare)
Never put hair spray on the end of your flute so you can try and get the head peice off better it doesnt work

never poke another trombone player in the butt they will do it back to you
don't get to close to freshman color gaurd they will hit you
never twirl your trombone around in hand fingers will hurt
never NEVER EVER cuss out your band director inside of low brass mouthpiece you will get cussed right back out(at least thats what our band director does)

whenever marching, never play near a tuba... especially when they are moving.. they like to run over people.
gay color gaurd members are violent. they like to hit people with their flags so don't march near them either.
there is a difference between a clarinet and a football.... you can throw the football with out damaging it...
flutes and clarinets are not the same a a baton or flag. they will fall and break.

'Specially when turning left... hahahahah. i am the section leader of our clarinet section. we don't lock clarinet players in lockers though. we do that to the color gaurd.

Never pretend your instrument is a flag and start doing dropspins or peggies with it. XD
Some guard/band girl was spinning her flute and the head fell out and kinda fell and hit someone..
It was hilarious. XD

-never pick a fight with the ENTIRE drumline AND percussion instructor... they'll beat you everytime, especially if your a freshman.
-do not call the 5th bass player the least important person in the band, they WILL hit you in the head; HARD
-dont hump ur insturment and make sex noises while at attention
-dont tell your section/squad leader to shut up...
-and DO NOT laugh at the drum major when he starts crying before the last contest because it's the last time he will ever conduct the band before he graduates

Never call the band to attention (when you're not the drum major) and say that the percussionists wear footsy pajamas... right in front of the drum majors...
