Hargun smiled. "Thanks." she said, and sat over on the other side of Emer.

"I talked to Lauren of the staff. She was actually pretty nice but.. did look a tad scary. Wouldnt matter though.. theyre all untrustworthy." She listened intently on Amaya's exclaiming.

"Maybe its.. the change? I dunno. But yea, theres no way it could be 'all in your head.'"

"Don't get me started on Lauren." Amaya glared over to Hargun, though was more glaring at the fact she disliked Thorn moreso then her batty friend.

"Did you go to the doctors at all before you came here?" She asked, concerned. At the question she blinked and looked at Hargun before stopping to think. "Not... really. I don't think so. Besides the odd cravings nothing else happened BEFORE I changed..."

Emerwyn felt, surprisingly, a little ashamed at Amaya's question. "No, I hadn't... I doubt they'd have given me an answer much different than Moreau's... I mean, I really can't seem to figure it out myself. Usually, when I get sick, I have some kind of herbal remedy for it... but my symptoms don't make sense. The last thing I needed was a doctor either telling me I was making it all up, or sending me in for freakish testing and experimentations." The irony hit her like a club in the face.

She breathed deeply, willing herself not to cough. She resisted the temptation to reach for the cough medicine again.

"I guess..." she mumbled, more to herself then to either of her comrades... One of which she hadn't even been formally introduced to. Eager to change the subject, she addressed her. "I'm sorry, but I don't even know you're name yet. I guess you heard Amaya, I'm Emerwyn."

"Oh, Im Hargun." she grinned. "Yea, I was afraid Id might say it wrong or something. Tend to do that I do.."

Standing up for a second and doing a quick courtsey, she said "Well its nice to meet you, Emerwyn." then sat down in a slight giggle fit.

God Im wierd.

Amaya started to laugh at the two, deciding she was too lazy at the moment to stand and do anything of her own.

After her laughing had subsided she flopped onto her back and glanced over at Emerwyn. "Were not interupting any of your 'alone time' are we?"

Emerwyn smiled genuinely. "No, not at all. To be quite honest with you, all I had wanted was to be alone... But, I think you proved me wrong."

Lauren was exploring again, not able to find Awen in her room. She really wanted her to be the first person to see her change cause she kind of liked her, not to mention she was included into her dream as part of Thorns distorted view of 'family'.

But, she never really explored the river so she though hey, why the ******** not?!

Randomnly she came unknowingly onto a gathering, she smelled them before she saw them. Not noticing the smell before she only knew one smelled slightly like food to her species, the other human maybe?? Another unknown.

She was intrigued and decided to come onto the gathering to connect the smell to who these people were.

A surprise hit her face when she noticed Amaya had been the food, wtf?! She remembered reading something about reptiles being a common thing in a yellow mongooses diet.

Putting the small instinct towards the back of the mind she cheerfully greeted everyone, "Hey, no one told me a party was going on!" Her claws waved, slightly pointed teeth revealing in a smile. Thorns tail wagged in a friendly manner.
