Unfortunately, it was molding and the mold creeped off onto the floor and the wall and everything near it - including the pipes.

Fortunetly they caught the person who set it on fire and made him/her pay for all the damages

Unfortunately, they found out the money he/she gave them back for all the damages was stolen from a bank.

Fortunately, that bank blew up and all of the records had been destroyed, so you get to keep it anyway.
