Kirana nodded slowly before turning and smiling at T'bell, "It would be a change of pace, that's for sure," She said. "And...if I ever change my mind, I could probably go back...maybe."

Heroe stumbled out of the Weyr and into the bowl. It had taken her nearly all day to find her way out of the Healer's barracks. She nearly lost her breath as she gazed around the bowl. It was huge! Bigger than any Weyr Bowl she had ever seen and dragons flying everywhere! It was amazing. Her eyes shimmered as she watched a blue dive at a fat buck and carried it away to it's weyr. There was a beaugle(sp?) of welcoming from somewhere as a brown appeared from Between with his rider. Heroe staggered back, her heart racing with excitement as she watched both rider and dragon vanish to their weyr.
Heroe then carefully made her way across the bowl, her feet still aching and the numbweed she placed upon herself was starting to wearoff again. But it didn't matter to her, she was gazing around at all the dragons, hoping that one of them might be R'ems. She looked at all the blues and saw that none of them matched Larthra's. Heroe then made her way toward another set of steps, these, she hoped, took her to the kitchens. Because she couldn't recongize the kitchen here even if it were all the way back on the other side. Suddenly a huge shadow appeared above her, she turned around and saw a bronze fly over head and land at his weyr near an entrance. She tapped her chest as if to stop her heart from bursting out of her chest and smiled at the bronze.
"I wonder if the queen is somewhere near by..." She asked herself as she walked toward the entrance.

"Don't worry." T'bell smiled reassuringly and patted her leg, "Everyone goes through a bit of a confused time I think." He stretched out his legs and moved Zephyr to his lap, earning a chirp. "I think you've just got ot try something. You can start again if you end up somewhere you don't like, and then try once more. It's better than being bored or unhappy your whole life, hm?"

The greenrider made a face and bumped her with his shoulder. "Mother should be able to help you out with that. I'll take the letter down today if I can." He gave a sheepish smile and ducked his head. "I should be visiting more often. I just haven't had the time, with all the sweep flights and the watching and..." His smile turned into a light frown. "Ariath is supposed to rise soon. Maybe I should go down, get Liliath out of the Weyr."

(So, with all the time-shifting going on this is...after the Feline hunt and before the mating flight? *thinks* yes, I think that works, since Kolina set that in the future. Much time for T'bell to angst and plot ways to get Lili out of the weyr...though they won't work. *pats him*

"It's a possiblity." He smiled and gave a wave of his hand. "If my mother agrees I'll come search you out. Where will you be? Assuming the caravan comes to take you..."

"That I'll do." He gave her a nod of farewell, repositioned Zeph, and flopped down on his back on the grass. "See you about then."

((sorry that took so long for such a relatively short post. *cringes* baby wants to be in my lap & keeps reaching for the mouse. *laughs* I hope he holds still better for the next post.))
