October 17th

Bob's been a grump all day today. I tried to get him to come up to the HQ again and he whacked my leg. Muttered something about it being a year...

Oh! Today is the one year aniversery of a very special event. I suppose Bob is missing all of the people from his old home. Uuven, Lurie, and her. I mentioned her to him and he hit me again.

Bob's mood finally improoved, and he took me shopping. I got some really rad new sockies: toed socks that are striped with flourecent colors. Mega neat.

I bought some makeup as well and gave myself a manicure. Fingers are sore because of it, but they look a little better. Bob worked on the house a bit, says he's Baby-proofing it. I take it that means Bowtie will be growing up soon.

I haven't felt well all day today. I've been tired and cold all day long. Might be coming down with something, so I'll be going to bed soon.

A howling has been starting at night. It really bothers Bob.

Still sick, I''ve got some kind of stomach flu. Bob''s in a bad mood, partly because of the howling, partly because I threw up on his favorate shoes.

He''s still putting up with me, though. Made me some chicken noodle soup, which wound up on another one of his shirts. I kept the seven up down, though.

He got me some movies to watch, such as Dragonheart and some kind of barbarian movie. Seen ''em both a few times.

The howling''s getting louder. Bob says he''s going to visit his fairy friend again.

Bob's Journal

Saw Uuven today. He told me the charms were the strongest he could send me. I'm going to have to pull an all nighter untill that stupid bowtie hatches.

Jeane's been barfing all day long. Okay, I do feel sorry. She's sick only a few times a year, and she just had to be sick while the D'raan was chasing her.

It's my job, though. She gets to drag home the little energy traps and I get to protect her from the monster.

Finally not sick anymore. Still a little weak and chilly, but I'm not barfing.

Bob's getting pretty grouchy. Don't think he's been sleeping.

I've been 18 for a month now. I still feel twelve.

Bob and I have been watching Daddy Daycare today. He just keeps staring at the screen with this look on his face. The only part he really likes is the part where the little girl is talking to the woman in Hong Kong. And the part with the beehive.

Then he started snoring and drooling. It was funny, but kind of sad. Perhaps he has sleeping problems.

As today is saturday, Bob''s bar was open. He refused to let me stay home alone, and said I''m just going to have to sleep in the break room. Great.

Before we left for the bar I did a few more loads of laundry. Bob sat on top of the dryer for twenty minutes and stared at the ceiling. His hatred of the dryer was waring with his hatred of being cold. He eventually decided he''d rather be cold and grabbed a few blankets. I stole his spot on top of the dryer.

The house is freezing, and the howling is keeping me up at night.

Some of the other children are growing up at the HQ. One cute little girl, and a little brown haired boy. Makes me wonder if bowtie will wake up soon.

Told Bob about the kids. He looked a bit pale, but he grinned. Ruffled my hair and told me to pack my stuff, and we headed back to the bar.

Yeay, I get to sleep in my own bed tonight!

Went book shopping today. Got a few kids books, like The Phantom Tollbooth. I loved that book as a kid, and it's great now.

Lesson learned: When Bob says: "Don't go outside, you'll be eaten" Beleive him.

Bob hasn't been sleeping nights, you know. One night he did, curled up on the couch. He's warned me for the past week or so not to go outside. While he slept, I played soliare and watched cartoons.

It was half after eight when I heard something outside. It was someone sobbing and begging for help. I took one look at Bob, sleeping soundly for the first time in a week, and I grabbed my trusty broom and headed outside.

Yes, outside.

I walked off my porch and stood in the light from the porch light, looking around. The first thing that told me that I was in trouble was when the porch light shattered. I twirled around and saw a flash of red and heard hard breathing. Then it was right beside me. Grabbing me.

The stench hit me then. Something like rotting meat. It pushed me to the ground and I twisted away from it, and turned to see what had me. Big red eyes was what I first noticed. The skull like face and long arms were what I saw next. The eyes stared at me and I tried to crawl away.

It had me in a second, long fingers grinding into my windpipe, starved eyes staring into mine. It shook me back and forth, snarling something like 'Give'. Then it threw me onto the driveway, and there was a mild explosion of light.

I woke up the next morning in my bed. I sat up and rubbed my neck and was startled by a rather peeved voice saying: "I told you not to go out."

Bob sat up off of the floor and glared at me. He walked away from me, then paused at my door. "Now you know what hunts you."

I've learned two very important words today: Tartar bad.

Had to have my teeth cleaned. At one point I had a death grip on the chair. I think I scared the dentist.

Other than that and my Wisdom teeth, they were good.

There's a new person staying at our house. Pepito, my good buddy from a while back. He's more than a little odd.

Anyway, it started out at about ten this morning. I was on the porch, trying to get Dupin out from under the porch. There was a clopping of high heeled shoes on the porch, then a husky voice called out "Lish?"

I scrambled out from under the porch. People hadn't called me that for quite some time. The person stood with her back to me, long blue black hair floating in the air.

"Yes?" I asked. She spun around, smiling. The face I knew...

"Pep?" I asked. She grinned and winked.

"How's it going, girl?" Pep asked.

"What's... with the skirt?"

"I wanted to be a woman." He shrugged. Cripes. Bob was going to love this.

Bob came out a moment later, glaring at Pep. "Freak." He snorted. Pepito leaned over and kissed my brother on the cheek.

"You're just jelous." He chirped. "Because I look better than you."

The day just got worse from there. By five o'clock, Bob and Pep were both sitting on the couch in the living room, bruised and glaring at each other. Pep's sleeping on the couch, Bob in the basement, and me in my room.

Things are never dull, at least.

October 31- Bob's Journal

I pride myself in my tolerent behavior. Jeane dragging me across the country because she wanted to see the Grand Canyon? I was good. I followed her to New York so some gang wouldn't kill her.

But bringing that... that... Crossdressing whore into this house?! No. I refuse to be tolorant about that.

But Jeane pouted and pleaded, and I gave into her. Pepito, Jeane, our neice and Nephew and I all went trick or Treating. Jeane was Sherlock Holmes, of course. Jesus, she has an obsession. Little Andrew was Spiderman, and Becca was a lady bug. Becca looks so much like Jeane as a child it's scary. I was dressed as a fairy. No one's allowed to comment on that.

Pepito? He walked out of his room in leather and long claws. "Edward Sisorhands!" He proclaimed cheerfully. Jeane hit him with a shoe and told him he'd scare the kids.

So he dressed up as me. He was in my clothes.

Anyway, we went trick or treating. Pepito was loving on Sasha, and Jeane refused to leave Edmund's shop. He just stared at her, and she stared back. Pepito grabbed one leg and I grabbed the other, and we pulled her out.

November 1

Finally, Halloween is over. Bob's fallen asleep in the basement, and Pepito has refused to crawl out of his clothes.

Took Bob up to the HQ again. I think he might have redeemed himself in Korini's eyes. Manten saw the wings Bob wore and called him "Fay-Bah". Made Bob smile for the rest of the night.

Anyway, Bob let Manten tug on his wings for a while. He said it didn't hurt, and as a bonus he got to refurnish his wings.

People allways get the wrong impression of him. He's a jerk, that's for sure. But he's also very sweet, and kids usually love him. Andrew's kinda spooked around him, expecially after Bob threw Pepito into a foutian and screamed something about 'Biker bar' and 'Wet T-shirt contest'. But Becca loves him to death.

He was allways my favorate sibling growing up. Very cuddly and he honestly doesn't care if you fall asleep on him, even if you drool.

Also, they did not have to drag me away from Edmund. He was so totally coming onto me.

Seriously.
