I figured that was what you were worried about, so I thought I'd check.

severus_magnus wow im asking a lot of questions here.... do hatchlings need clicks to grow up? what are clicks views and unique vies and how do you get them? You do probably need clicks for it to grow up.The clicks, views, and hits can all be different. It could take 20-30,40-70,100+

Darkest_Soul_Snatcher How did my egg die within a day? It's probably due to auto-refreshing,soft shell,or expiration date.

Questions are what this thread is for.
Soul Snatcher, if your eggshell is normal colored, then it probably died of getting too many hits too fast. If it's wierd puky greenish tinge, than it had a disproportionate ration of views/uniques/clicks.
And techinically nothing needs clicks to grow up. It just speeds it up. You can get an adult with 0 clicks (which TJ said himself). But you need views/uniques for it to grow up. So in a nutshell, you don't need clicks, but you want them anyway.

Lots of questions...
1) I still don't get what a unique click is... who can give them and what makes them so special? domokun domokun domokun lol
2) You say that an egg can grow up without clicks and such technically, so if you don't get anything for it [0/0/0 for everything] it can grow within the 7 days its an egg/hatchling? ---then if that's true, then what's the point in getting clicks?
3) I just started my eggs around last week, so I wouldn't know, but if you get say two black eggs and they both hatch into the same thing, can you abandon them or do you have to kill them? sad I don't want duplicates, but it would be a shame to kill them after all that work...
Probably will think of more questions... just lemme think of em' first xd

1) Hits are how many times your egg has been viewed, unique hits are how many different people have viewed your egg/hatchling/dragon, and clicks are how many times your egg has been clicked. Unique hits and clicks only count once per day.
2) An egg can get hits, and unique hits everytime the image is loaded. So if you have them in your gaia signature and post a lot you will get views, but no clicks unless someone actually clicks on your egg.
3) You can abandon unnamed hatchlings, but once they are adults you are stuck with them unless you kill them.

Ah, I see, thank you 3nodding but for another question now:
I've got about 1000 hits on all my dragons, three hatchlings and one egg, but the egg hasn't hatched [its cracked but not dead] and the hatchlings are the same. I've seen that many people only have 1000+ hits on their adult dragons, so why isn't my egg hatching/hatchlings maturing?

There is a time factor as well. Your egg and hatchlings MIGHT have plenty of hits and clicks to hatch or mature, but not enough time has passed. I think eggs will not hatch before 3.5days and hatchlings won't mature until 4days. Not sure about that, but that's what I've read and seems to be about right.
