Nali was watching as the bolt connected with the creature and the silver sparks flew from it where the bolt hit

as the thing began to dissolve int oa foul smelling dust, nate leaned on a nearby tree to regain his energy.
'We should keep moving. there could be more of them nearby.

Nali nodded and said "a quick breather won't kill us" she hoped her guess was right. she felt the presence of at least three dead, but hid it quite well

"ok" Nali said as she turned to face the west. she started to walk, following the sun and she kept letting her attention get taken by birds, trees, and all other manners of noise.

nate was also slowly letting his gaurd down, as he took in the wonders of the old kingdom.

man i missed this place! Nali thought as they walked it seems much better without all the big tall buildings and the cars zooming by

beyond there sight and hearing...

As it begins to fly away the horse voice adds to itself . "more importantly, i wonder if they have any food?"

A whiff of the smell of burning metal caused nate to tense up, and noticed Nali's reaction. "where is it?' he asked
