"How are we out of place?" I asked Anthony, "This is New York City for crying out loud! There's tons of oddballs and such!" I grabbed my hot dog from the vendor and gave him my money. I looked at Anthony and turned around to look at Nick.

"Look around, everyone is bustling about, being as rude as possible, even most tourists are doing something closer to that for crying out loud." He replied, "Sorry if I sounded rude, but heck, I don't really fit either."

Anthony sighed as he walked off, but not a block away, he felt his neck begin to burn and he felt slightly cramped. "s**t, my skin's peeling!" he said to himself quietly, running for a bathroom ,realizing that he had passed one just near those people, not wanting to risk it in the open, he cursed, and ran.

From a distance away, Anthony saw them. Not something a New Yorker would notice, but still, quite noticeable. Not wanting to see those people again, he tried to take a pass to the side, but accidentally tripping over someone, having his tail poke out slightly. Quickly rolling on to his back, he got up, hid his tail, and looked at the group in front of him.

"SO obviously....yes....." I pulled my hand out to Anthony. "Get up you klutz" I told him, "because well we aren't 'normal' as the next person." I smiled as I easily lifted him up. I need more people in a group so it's easier to defend agaist the bad, although it's easier to travel by myself as an avain-american. I need to learn to TRUST.

"Thanks" He said, and paused for a minute, "I'm not even gonna bother how you just picked me up like that." Stretching his back for a minute, he wondered Doesn't look like the kind to trust others and accept companions, I wonder what's going on..... Unfortunately, his newfound habit of softly muttering whatever was on his mind was no exception here.

"I'm tired!" Anthony said, "Just ate, need some rest." He waved casually as he walked away through the crowds

*yeah you guys can join, we just need evil people right now.* *lawls i don't know. it's better than akward silence* "Yeah, Okay! Fine just don't say bye." I yelled at Anthony. Just when I meet someone sort of like me, they just blow me off. I sighed then sat at the nearest bench, staring at all the people around me. The one thing I love about NYC, is the fact that I can actually blend in.

Anthony sighed at his seemingly one chance to break out of his weird life - into an even weirder one. He sighed, it would be awkward just to walk back, so he thought. Never being very good around other people, talking wouldn't work, and following would seem very odd. He first went to a phone book and searched for his small apartment. Then, he looked on the ground and found some scraps of paper. "The only good thing about trash on the ground" he laughed as he wrote one short message. P. 114 - Column 2 - Row 9 Nearest street corner - book You know who this is from, and I hope you know how to decode it
Sorry for the no "bye"
