clark smiled a lot now, he was quite sorry for making her late but also feeling quite happy now, he tried his luck, tlaking directly to lex now "sorry lex...she was with me and we kinda got sidetracked doing some work.."

"She was with you, Kent? Well, Miss Sullivan, make sure it never happens again or you'll be out of a job." Lex said turning his back on the two.
"Sorry you had to see that Clark." Chloe apologized.

"hey...its fine...now come here...i wanna say goodbye to miss sullivan properly" he put his arms around her, under her arms, kissing her softly, once her eyes were closed he hovered a little off of the ground, intending to get her to the roof, easier acess to her office

Chloe sighed, "Bye Clark. Oh, and I'll do my best to research that meteor freak/ weapon thing. That is if Lex isn't monitoring my internet acess. Why don't you come back around....3:00?"
***After Clark leaves***
Chloe was sitting at her desk in her office when Lex entered. "Sullivan, my office now!" Chloe checked her watch it was 2:59.
"But sir, Clark will be here to pick me up in-"
"I said now!" Lex shouted.

clark was there a few seconds later, on the roof waiting, he could hear lex and her talking, lex actually doing more shouting, he needed to think of an excuse to go into his office, probably to drop something off

"Miss Sullivan, what were you doing hacking into LuthorCorp files?" Lex demanded from her.
"Last time I checked it was illegal to spy on your employees." Chloe said angrily.
"Yes and last time I heard it was illegal to hack into classified files." Lex replied. He went over to her and put a hand on her shoulder, "You should put your talents to good use Miss Sullivan. You should be a hacker for LuthorCorp. I could use a pretty young girl like you working for me."
"Get a life Lex. I'm with Clark."

clark heard what he had said and "accidentaly" banged hard on the floor, the building seeming to shake a little as if he had hit the floor hard, it wasnt only the people in the building that heard and felt it though, the meteor freak was nearby, clark hadnt noticed though, waiting for chloe, he called her cell, she could hear that he was on the roof

Chloe sprinted up the stairs to the roof, "You'll never guess what I found out Clark. That meteor freak thing, he's a LuthorCorp invention!"

"that would explain lex shouting at you like that....and if he keeps hitting on you...i swear im gonna pin him up on a dartboard and start using his inventions as the darts...." clark suddenly got really quiet, feeling strange again, as if kryptonite were affecting him, he looked at ther, his eyes widening. "we gotta get inside....i cant get us down safely, that thing..its coming..you gotta drive us..okay?"

"Fine." Chloe nodded, grabbing Clark's arm and helping him inside. "Don't you think that it' a little odd that as soon as Lex gets done yelling at me this meteor freak comes after us?"

"yeah...but right now i need to focus on keeping my energy...if that thing gets too close im just gonna drop like a stone..."
they got inside easily, clark already struggling, the meteor freak following but not destroying anything, obviously being controlled very specifically, they made it to chloe's car, clark had moved it so that it was nearby just in case, he was pretty much weakened to human strength when they got there, he was feeling pretty nauseous, the meteor freak getting closer as she started to drive the car

Chloe passed up her apartment and then the farm, "Sorry Clark but we're going to get Lex to stop this madness!"

as he felt so weak clark was falling asleep, quite a dangerous thing to do in this state, the meteor freak falling further behind, him not recovering properly though, it would seem that lex has had this planned for a long time, making the kryptonite in the meteor freak concentrated enough to knock clark out

"C'mon Clark you can't fall asleep now!" Chloe replied as they pulled up outside Lex's mansion. She supported him with an arm around one shoulder as they limped toward the door. "Wake up, I can't confront Lex alone!"

he groaned a little, trying to force himself to wake up, he managed to get half way, walking for himself, waking up quicker but not instantly, it would take another minute or two as he walkied with her, he was able to hold himself up as they walkied into the main room, lex at the table, clark was still off balance, walking better though, lex was smiling widely
