Red_Ronin Yin Dragon I have not read all of the Bible,so I dont know... that if there are witches are u saying u dont know if witches exist?

I used to own & read tarot for others. i was told i was gifted for it. now i realize any gift or secrets i discovered thru tarot were not from God, but was evil.

MistyRose Has anyone ever felt like they were all alone in the world and that no matter what they do nothing seems to go right??? Definately 3nodding Not that I'm proud of those times, but I think that they strengthen me. Even though I hate how I feel at that time.

Yeah, I know what you mean Angel..I sometimes wonder why things happened then later as time progress I can see the Lord fitting it all in...but man the process of it sure is a pain sometimes isnt it?

I know that sometimes I feel all alone in the world especially when things are really going bad for me at home or at school..sometimes even my best friend seems to leave me when i need them the most.

Ok, I have a question. In your opinion, what is wrong with reading about things that deal with magic or even playing games dealing with magic. I mean if we know from right and wrong is it still ok to do those things or not and if not why?????

My parents say that they don't want me to read Harry Potter because it deals with witchcraft and wizardy, but i don't understand why. They let us watch things like that when we were little, because doesn't Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and storys like that have Witchcraft in them also?

I think whether you part take in those things should be based on your spiritual strength. If you find that reading or playing stuff like that easily causes you to desire to actually partake in witchcraftor divination then it's probably not a good idea for you to read those books or play those games. However if you can handle it and it doesn't cause you to sin then I think it's fine.

I agree with you there LadySiara, its really based on how strong you are in your faith and spiritual strength. If you are going to be tempted to mingled in witchcraft and anything else that goes along with it then why allow yourself the temptation. Reading books isnt a sin in itself but what you are going to do with the knowledge that you gathered from reading the book is what you are going to have to be careful. Anyways thats how i see it.
