Ruby St.Claire Pendari's lips slid into a sharp grin. "Then I am either a well-dressed escapee, or very likely to kill you for your declaration." She held herself perfectly still, her lilac eyes with their silver lining, openly calculating wether to kill this one now or later. "But I am curious, what would give you that impression?" Sean chuckled. "A pretty woman in a den of wolves that isn't afraid. there's a short list of things that could elicit your reaction to our ship being turned upsidedown, but, the two I stated are the most likely." He replied simply, searching his pockets for his cigarettes, "Damn. Can't find them. Not supposing you smoke?"

"Out of luck, friend."Pen's grin stayed cold. "I don't smoke, and the going rate for cigarettes is rather steep." She adjusted the glove on her hand. "You seem interesting enough, it's a pity you decided to play with a viper."

Ruby St.Claire "Out of luck, friend."Pen's grin stayed cold. "I don't smoke, and the going rate for cigarettes is rather steep." She adjusted the glove on her hand. "You seem interesting enough, it's a pity you decided to play with a viper." Sean returned the empty grin, his hand slowly going to the hilt of his katana at his hip. "Typical of me to pick the wrong one to mess with."

Pen glanced at his sword, appraising it for a moment. "A pity I left my own weapon aboard my ship. It has been a while since I've had a proper duel." She pulled a gun she had taken off the dead captain from the holster on her hip. "Don't take this personally." She said before firing two shots.

Ruby St.Claire Pen glanced at his sword, appraising it for a moment. "A pity I left my own weapon aboard my ship. It has been a while since I've had a proper duel." She pulled a gun she had taken off the dead captain from the holster on her hip. "Don't take this personally." She said before firing two shots. As she fired, Sean vanished a blur of white, whipping around her, and tackling her aroung the midsection as the bullets left the chamber, the shots going awry and hitting the ceiling.

Pen's eyes narrowed as she was tackled, and Sean's body slowly began to lighten, and float in the air as Pen manipulated the surrounding gravity, and allowing her to slip out from underneath him with ease. "Fancy implant you have there," She said in a dry voice. "It still won't save you." She picked up a glas bottle from the floor, something probably tossed to the side by a civilian on their way from the rec center. She tossed it up into the air, letting it float lighter than a feather for a second before it began rushing at Sean with incredible force.

Sean unsheathed his katana with blazing speed, pressing the point against the looming ceiling and pushing himself to the ground, avoiding a rather humiliating and messy death, yet again, by seconds, cursing under his breath. "You this brutal with every first date or is this just a really bad rejection?"

"What is it with men thinking I'm coming on to their hair?" Pen asked with a raised eyebrow. She slammed Sean against the wall of the hallway. "You're not bad on the eyes, pretty boy, but I'm too busy to play."

Haldis veered around the corner of the hallway. She paused as she saw Pendari and Sean up ahead. Something strange crossed her eyes for a moment, then she grinned. With a running start she grabbed ahold of Pendari's leg, and yelled out "Mommy!"

Jarred stayed back, listening from behind the corner. He pulled his PDA out, whispering into it, then held it out in front of him. The screen formed into a mirror, allowing him to see behind him, very little of the actual PDA visible, given the angle of the reflection. He wasn't surprised to see Pen, but was a bit shocked at the "mommy" comment. He figured that for a kid to be walking out on their own, they had to belong to someone high up with the new rule of the ship, but this...

"What the hell?!" Pendari glanced down at the kid hugging her leg and jumped back, dropping Sean and instinctually pushing the kid away with a blast of gravitational force. She stepped backwards, completely freaked out by the strange child and ended up stepping on the broken bottle, slipping onto her back end.

Haldis was pushed back into the wall, hard, she shook her head a moment to refocus. Before Pen could attack her again she pulled herself up, pocketing the card she had swiped from the woman, and took off running down the hallway.

Arix, who had stayed by the child laughed as he got a ballsy idea of his own as he approached. "Are you all right?" He asked Pendari as he offered her a hand in getting up. "I'm so sorry about that. Katie there has been a little confused as of late." He dropped his voice to a low whisper. "Mom got killed when all the prisoners broke out. It hasn't quite sunk in with her yet."
