His nuzzling sent chills running up and down her body. Her eyes glossed over. He was so warm... and so nice... He seemed a little bigger than the few other male ulaya that she had met before. She liked that too. The idea they half heartedly talked about children in passing made her heart flutter.
With a few twitches of her tail, she was off sprinting towards the forest. She couldn't fly; but she could run pretty well. She could jump pretty well too. All in all, she was fairly limber. She led the way in such manner for at least an hour or two eastwards. Until they came to where the mountains ran into a plain that led to the opening of the forest.

He smiles gently at her, bemused by the glazed look in her eyes. Had he caused that? Was it a good thing? Truly, he could only hope it was so. The talk of children made him want to blush, though he resisted the impulse to do so.
He grins and takes off after her, keeping his wings tucked in close to his body to cut down on resistance. Heavens knew he'd caught drafts a couple times...and been lifted straight off his feet too! Not wanting to repeat the experience, he pulled them in even tighter and raced after her. His longer legs enable him to catch up to her where he slows his pace to match hers.
Once they reach the opening to the forest, he glances around, taking note of any possible passage by other creatures. While the mountains held the occasional bear or wildcat, the forests held those and more, it would be prudent to keep an eye out for any would-be predators.

When they paused, she glanced over. She saw how he was watching around. Was he protecting her? How sweet was that? Without any delay, she had even more blushing spreading across her face. She wanted to have a moment to squee and die; however, she just continued to stare at him just a moment longer.
In an effort to get herself to do something other than what she had been, she then continued on forward but at a slower pace. When they neared the outside of her thicket, she went up to a small dense part where she hid out. She put a paw in to spread the branches. Inside was a very small nook. Well, it was big enough for her.. and maybe one or two more ulaya, but the ceiling wasn't very high. The floor was just regrowing its grass from the winter.
Karis turned to look at him. "This is where I live while things are green in the forest." Then, she couldn't help but feel it again. Now that she was sitting rather than moving. That feeling to squeeze her eyes shut and squeal her head off was resurging. He just made her wanna rejoice in that fangirlish way.
She thought he was so amazing. It was hard to believe he was there for just her. JUST FOR HER! Her whole body started to rustle under all the excitment.
