what about the food companies? ANd I think that's peta that be throwing red paint on people's fur's

Killing something for,FOOD,which keeps someone alive is completely different from killing something specifically for comfortableness and looks.
but you said kilng something for money. ANd they kill animals for food, which genrates money. Yea they are for two different things, but the incentive is the same... profit

people kill animals for food, to eat. not to make money. there's money in selling food, true, but the whole "incentive" of killing animals for food, is to eat.

also, i doubt back in the biblical days they skinned animals alive.

if referring to cain and abel, they cut the throat, and burned the body. not really the same thing as skinning it alive.
uh he gave the carcus as a tribute to god. And you can go to prometheus where he tried to trick the gods by giving them the skinny part of the ox, while the bulk of the meat was given to the people. Why was it a trick? because people usually would give the bulk of the ox as a tribute to the gods. Which clearly shows that killing animals was a tribute to the gods. Again if food companies didn't do it for money than why wouldn't they just start eating vegetables? I mean i know it's to eat, but money is the ultimate incentive. Otherwise mcdonald's would have been changed up their menus. The whole reason for food companies to kill animals is to generate money. If that was false the food companies would be selling vegetables instead.

You both are right in a way ;/

okay, scenario.
lets say a family is the last living family on the earth, as far as they know. but they have fields of crop. and livestock. thinking that they're the last living family, they wouldnt have any one to sell the meat to. so, they'd just eat vegetables right?
food companies sell vegetables too. meat isnt their only product they sell.

okay I never said that the only thing meat was good for was money. I also added that it is to eat and survive. But the ultimate incentive for any business is profit. Compare the amount of vegetables they retail to the amount of poultry that they retail. It's a big difference. Last time I checked the fruits and vegetables department only spent like 2 million dollars on advertisements. And other companies such as fast food, candy, and poultry companies have been able to advertise way more. Again the ultimate incentive for any business is profit, if that weren't true and it was all about good health and nutrition I'm pretty sure there would be a more equal balance between the two

his point is
people who kill live stock and sell it, get money, yes, but they dont kill and sell animals to make money for the ******** of it, they kill and sell live stock so there family's can eat and have a roof over there head, and in stead of skinning the animal alive, they plain and simple, just shoot the animal, so the death is quick
people in the video, beat the animals senseless, mistreat them, and then skin them alive, and when then leave them to die a painful death
