Sephiroth smiled and curled his wing around her side,this sure turned out to be a pleasent day. "so my lil tree queen, what would you like to do now?" he asked as he softly rubbed his wing up and down her side.

Iro all but purred, liking the feel of his feathers (not to mention the warmth). "Well, we could always go for a swim." She teased. "Or maybe get a bite to eat?" All the silliness had worked up her appetite.

Sephy smiled "Well I am getting a lil hungry myself" He stood up than looked around "Well my darling snow queen wanna go see what we could find?"

Iro smiled to herself, liking all the nicknames Sephy kept giving her.

Sephy smiled softly at his snow queen, and started walking into the forest, there had to be something close since they were in the forest, but he wasent sure if anything would be growing in winter time, he hummed softly as he looked wondering if Iro knew where to find anything at this time of the year

Iro watched Sephy as he started looking around for food, and grinned. Time to show off her knowledge of the area. "This way." she pointed with her muzzle, heading towards the lake. She knew of a reed that grew there and had tasty and surprisingly filling roots.

Sephiroth smiled as he turned around to follow Iro, wondering what she knew about that he didnt, he noticed they were going toward a lake..were they going to fish??

Iro grinned. She was pretty sure Sephy would think she was taking him to fish, but she sure didn't plan on getting wet while it was still this cold, not if she didn't have to. The plants grew at the edge of the water, and could be dug up with a minimal of getting wet.
"Over here." she directed him. She dug around one of the plants, then grabbed the stalk in her teeth and pulled it out of the ground. "Zhee?" She said through a mouthful of plant. "Ou 'an eet 'e oots."

Sephiroth stepped close to the shore and watched Iro for a second, hes never really been one to try new things just cause someone else said it tasted good...he leaned down close to the plants and sniffed them, not really paying attention to what he was doing he stretched out his wing at the same time to keep him in balance but it did the oppisite...making him fall headfirst into the water....making water splash anything close to the bank as he plunged into the icy depths

Iro yipped in surprise as the wave of icy water hit her, dropping the plant. She blinked the water out of her eyes, and saw what had happened to Sephy. She quickly reached out, grabbing the collar of his odd clothing in her teeth huh, I guess this is good for something after all and dug her feet into the bank, hauling Sephy up out of the water as best she could.

Sephy chuckled as both him and Iro landed onto the bank, he stood and looked down at his clothes which were now soaking wet..but strangely he didnt feel too cold..it was a lil warmer today that it was the other day

Iro huffed, shaking herself in an attempt to get some of the water off her fur. "You know, I was kidding about swimming today." She commented. "Remind me not to take you anywhere that involves lots of water when it's too cold out." A twinkle in her eyes revealed that she was not as upset as she pretended.

Sephy laughed even louder, making him fall over onto the grass as he tried to catch his breath "You look so silly with water dripping down your nose" he smirked up at her

Iro stuck her tongue out at Sephy, then gave herself another good shake, making sure to spray him. Not that it made much difference, since he was already soaked. "Well you look silly with water dripping of your nose, wing, and various items of apparel. So there." She stuck her nose in the air, which had the combined effect of making her look miffed, and keeping any more water from dripping off said nose.

Sephy chuckled as he drops of water landed on him from Iro, he stood up and walked over to her, draping his now soaked wing over her shoulder "how about we grab some roots than go to our lil cave?"
