Actually they were both fifthteen and deaply in love so maybe a little tonge could have been put in on Renton's part wink

iKayako I haven't seen the FMA movie either, but I hear it was good. >.> Hopefully if they do make and Eureka seveN movie, it won't be too much like the FMA one, with the alternate reality and such. Because you know, if they did that it just wouldn't be Eureka. It would just be an FMA ripoff. As for the kiss, I found it to be the best way to end it, really. It's such a romantic thing, they kiss, then fall back down to Earth together. I never get tired of seeing that scene, no matter how many time I watch it.

FMA wasn't anywhere near the first story in anything to have an alternate world, though.

the fact that they always got interupted makes a good ending, why i dont see this element as great is simply it awlays happens nowadays
i myself would have added a situation where they were rushing to find the other and ran into each other flat out resulting in a non-avoidable kiss
i've only seen that elemetn in one or two anime, so that would've amped up the ending for me
but i still give the anime a 9/10 in average rating for all it's rateable areas:
pull-in factor
story cohesion
Minor elements
CC & CB*
Ending
* - CC = Character Combat :: CB = Character Bondings - th CC/CB field affects how balanced both sides are, in E7 its about 1 or 2 % unbalanced
