Ben continued to look around; noticing all the shady people walking by. "Note to self: buy a gun."He said, still with the confused look.

Alex didn't fully hear what the guy said but stood up and yelled down to him, "You'll need more than a gun."

Ben looked around to see who said that. he finally notice a young man standing on a roof. "Ah, a native." He said aloud, "Perhaps you can help me, I'm looking for... What are you doing on a roof?" He suddenly realized that it wasn't normal.

"Oh i see. " He said, "Makes since i suppose. Perhaps i should do the same." Ben jumped high on to a rain gutter and quickly began to climb. When he reached the top he stood up and dusted himself off, even though there was not thing to dust. "Well, where was I?... Oh yes, the market, I have no earthly idea where it is. I'm sorry i can't help you." He said; a little mixed up about the situation.

"Ah yes, now that raises a question in my mind." Ben said, completely forgetting about the market, " Why would Jason Nor put a bounty on his own son?" he ask with the up most curiosity.

Alex laughed a bit, "Gah, I almost forgot about that," he said, rubbing his chin a bit, and taking a seat on the ledge, "well, probably because I haven't been home in about 3 or 4 days, can't remember how long I've been out and about."

"What ever happened to the good ol'days when parents just put tracing devices in there kids when they were asleep?" He asked as he pulled out a pack of cigarettes and sticking one in his mouth. He gestured the pack towards Alex; offering him to take one.

"Well, " Ben said as He put the pack back in his pockets." Your answer to my question leads me to another question." He took out a lighter lit the cigarette, and inhaled. " Why does the son of the vice-chancellor of the high council, leave home and not return for three or four days?" He asked as he exhaled the smoke.

"Ha," Alex said, laughing a bit, "this isn't long, one time I went out over a week. I get sick of the city every now and then and come out to explore the Brim. That and I hate everyone telling me how I should act when in the council building. That and I come out here because my older brother used to bring me out here with him when he needed supplies for his parts shop."

Ben noticed he said 'used to' and decided to confirm what he thought. "So your brother is a mechanic? I have a ship I need some one to look at. You think he would be interested?" He asked the boy.

Alex winced a bit, "Well... we don't really know where he is," he explained, "he was taken with my mother in the last Maw raid and I barely escaped."

Ben quickly assessed most of the boys actions and thoughts, he understood the boy a lot better than most would have by now. "I see... well I'm sure you'll see them again some day." he said taking a drag of his cigarette.
