Her husband had to be the one he had never herd mentioned before. Alex casually stirred his coffee, hoping he wasn't trespassing to far into the subject. "Can't be to bad then, only one female right?"

"One too many." He shivered again. He sipped at his tea, smiling. "Girls just... irk me. I know it's stupid, but I can't help it. Just... ick." He sighed, and rubbed his forhead.

"Bad experiences." He rubbed his forhead and sipped his coffee. One foot shyly moved to rest on the other's. He had been barefoot, and remained so.It seemed he didn't even think of it.

Alex nodded, but then there were bad experience with most anything, or the possibility at least. Feeling a presence he wasn't aware of before, he leaned back in the chair catching a glimpse of a bare foot beneath the table. Shaking his head, he laughed softly and pressed the mug to his lips.

He quirked a brow, then sipped at his tea, sighing. "So... you'er gay?" He watched him with almost hopeful eyes, smiling a small bit, though nervously.

Alex paused thinking of the best way to answer that question. Well see Freud had this spectrum and along the spectrum there were different levels... right. Still adamantly drinking Alex lowered the cup enough to clearly see Nik's facial expression and without a second thought he shot him a wink and slight nod. "yea."

Nik blushed a bit, and glanced away, then back. "That''s great. I don''t think you need to ask about me." He chuckled nervously, and his feet shifted a bit, as he shivered.

Setting the empty coffee mug down Alex chuckled, and reassuringly smiled. "It's not that obvious."

A deeper blush, and he shifted in his seat, glancing down to his almost empty tea cup. He sipped at it. "Thanks."

"No problem." Slouching back in the chair, Alex crossed his arms over his chest. Watching the other patrons while stealing an occasional glance at Nik.

And with Nik, he glanced back and forth occasionally, settling his eyes on the other, though quickly retreating when the other glanced over. Then he spoke quietly. "I don't... suppose... you might think about... going out on a date with me?"

Coughing into a hand Alex cleared his throat masking the surprise on his face best he could. "Little soon don't you think? You just met me today, give it a little bit first." Smiling.

He coughed a bit to himself and nodded. "S-sorry, was just wondering." He shifted and looked down to his bare feet. The boy rarely acted like this, so it came as an odd surprise.
