Kawaii Kokezaru The only thing slightly musical you may see is I HOPE he sings in the Willy Wonka movie, just like Gene Wilder did. as for charlie and the chocolate factory i heard there wasn't any singing in it like the 1971 on with Gene Wilder in it. that it is mostly based off the book, intended to be acted out much like the book with no songs.

Yes. In the latest commercials the Oompa Loompas (BTW does everyone know that it's just one guy who plays them and he was made into a bunch by computers? surprised Interesting, indeed) sing a song about the boy "Agustus Gloop." It sounds so cool.

I personally think Johnny had guts to be in that film cause at the time he was in his teen idol phase from 21 jump Street and that movie was making fun of teen idols so Johnny was basically making fun of himself...though his plan didnt work he was still the teen idol from jump street. *shakes head* sad. though I think this movie was unbeilievingly corny I love it !

I recently bought Crybaby on DVD and i must say it is was a great musical. Anyways on the DVD there are bonus features, with deleted scenes (chicken dance, a look at the person wanting models for his porno career, etc.) to the behind the scenes of the show itself through interviews.
The only reason why Johnny Depp lip sanked in the movie was because John Waters wanted the same voice throughout the songs. they had to take lip sinking lessons and dramatize lessons to make it seem like they were really singing. I think everybody was great in their acting to pull of such great lip sinking.

I love that movie! I just watched it a couple days ago and Johnny looked so amazingly hot!! but then again he always does!! heart heart heart

The movie was really funny, iono if it was suposted to be made to be funny, but thats how i found it.
The make out scene, for some reason i really like it xD Oddly enough because nothing really happened.
The Mr. Jail Man song, ya know what im talking about? When all the girls went to the jail to free CryBaby, that song i really liked. It had to be my second favorite part in the movie.
I must address the character known as Hatchet Face. God she was ugly, no? I can see why that was her name. I feel sorry for the actor who played her boyfriend, haveing to kiss her. Im sure most of that was makeup, they did a hell-ofa good job with it though!

I just bought myself the DVD release of Cry-Baby two days ago, and I got a giant poster of him in it - it's the picture off the cover of the DVD, where he's got the teardrop tattoo and "one single, salty tear" rofl . I fell in love with it because I am a 21 Jump Street fanatic (I've sworn to not buy seasons 4 and 5 cause JD isn't in it anymore) and he looks just like he does - I know he hated it, but I love it. He was so suited for the greaser look, and he pulled the movie off fantastically. His lip synching was superb - I wasn't sure at first if he was really singing - and his dancing was amazing, even though he says he can't dance. All in all, a wonderfully cheesy, silly performance that JD will probably never repeat - I think the closest he's come is Willy Wonka, or possibly Jack Sparrow.

*dreamy sigh* one of my top 5, I adore it heart Johnny was terrific, I loved that he turned a square xd I have it recorded on a VHS =P I'm hoping to purchase the DVD soon, that would be awsome <3 I love his character in this one, he's quite the rebel.....I'm trying to get my best guy friend, Chris, to dress like him for halloween (he could do the hair pretty well) and I assure you, if he does I will post a picture for all to giggle over XD
