Darkside Luke

PostPosted: Fri Oct 14, 2005 10:49 am

As Volt entered the room, Luke stood up from his seat and strolled over to the now kneeling man. Luke bowed respectfully to one of his most trusted agents, pleased at what He had said upon entering. Luke waved his hand, signalling for him to rise.

Very good. I have been early waiting your arrival. Come. There is something we must do. I'll explain on the way. We'll sort out the new arrival when we return.

Luke turned the top haf on his body to face the left wall, he one covered in many ceremonial lightsabers. He held out his hand and, with the Force, drew the centre most lightsaber from the wall. The black hilt flew across the room, landing tightly in Luke's grasp. He walked out of his quarters, headed towards Volt's ship, assume he would follow.

exiting hyperspace, Dax radioed in to any nearby star destroyers, "anyone! ANYONE! please, i need confirmation to land. my Defender is extreamly damaged."
Dax then powered down his TIE, hoping that anyone would answer.....

Volt stepped out of the chambers, but first turned to Ashandi before following Master Luke. "Ashandi, I have to go now. If you wish, you may go to the training grounds and ask if someone could help you. If they give you any trouble, mention my name." Without waiting for a reply, he jogged over to Luke and walked along side him as they both made haste to the hanger where Volt had left his ship. "So, what's on your mind, Master?"

Luke marched down the many corridors to Volt's ship, standing at the entrance to the hanger. There were dozens up dozens of Stormtroopers patrolling the area or carrying various tasks. Luke turned to Volt as a Stormtrooper came up and handed Luke a long, beige gunman's coat.

We are going to Coruscant. It's time for a little scare-tactic...

With that, Luke flung the coat around himself, sliding his arms down the sleeves and finally straightening the whole thing out. He then held out his hand, offering to Volt to lead the way.

Peppa Clause

Upon entering Peppa would slide the datapad from his hand into his left pocket which was rather large. He could probably fit half a dozen or so datapads within that pocket alone. Tho' all the space didn't really matter-it just felt really comfortable.

With a glance his eyes would travel across to the durasteel floor which his master had gestured for him. He was not in favor of sitting on the ground-he'd much prefer to stand so that he could pace himself slightly.

His eyes would close for a second as he reachd into his memory. The information was there-yet it was hiding as was most information. Something which he struggled with from time to time-as if his knowledge was a haze but his mind was clear.

I have learned bits and peices of Dark Lords such as Bane, Sidiuos, Sion, Nihillus, and Naga Sadow. Learned of a few great battles and big figures in the history...as well expanded myself upont he force-subtly but still expansion nonetheless.

He would smile faintly recalling Bane, he in particular intruiged him. Him and Sion were one of the two lords which he liked very much. Well nto so much on Sion-he was weak and accepted the light-knowing it would destroy himself. The lord of pain obvisouly couldn't take it.

While Bane displayed great power, knowledge, and many other things. He was able to withstand the mighty thought bomb and was very cruel-killing children in front of parents to obtain there fear.

I have also been looking on the various abilities which many sith have grown adapt to using.....

To be honest, he had little to say. He didn't like doing this sort of stuff such as telling what you know or about yourself....when asked to say something that is so vast-you feel as if there's nowhere to start...no depth to go into....nothing. So he often in turn-said nothing.

Peppa entered the room, the door closed behind him, once again encasing them in the calming darkness. The unseen illumination source provided just enough light to see and to move about. Aryx sat back in the chair to wait for his apprentice to sit and explain.

For a moment, as Peppa stood and stared at the floor, Aryx felt his apprentice would disobey him. His offer to sit was not a request. Peppa had been given a task, and no matter how mundane it may be, Aryx expected him to carry it out. Thankfully for the well being of the learner, Peppa complied

Aryx sat quietly as his apprentice spoke. His student tensed and hesitated, his eyes closing in a calm attempt to recall exactly what it is that he hade read, studied, and learned.

"Bane, Sidiuos, Sion, Nihilius..." Aryx repeated the names when Peppa had finished. His voice was harsh, and a hint of disrespect rose in his tone near the end. He growled in his through as he sat back fully into the curved chair.

"Bane...I believe the only wise accomplishment of Bane was the Sith Rule of Two and that the workings of the Sith were to always be kept secret. Out of all the name you listed I feel only Bane deserves respect."

He fell silent again as he pressed his finger together and slumped down slightly. He growled again, and closed his eyes. Finally his mouth opened, but only a sigh escaped. Long moments passed before he opened his eyes again to look at his still sitting and waiting apprentice.

"Sidious...was brilliant in the beginning. Playing as senator Palpatine, biding his time until they made him head of senate, and then declaring martial law and the Jedi out laws. But, after that, he proved his arrogance and over confidence. Sion and Nihillus were both testaments as to the very extent of the Force's power. Nihillus, the Lord of Hunger, if the old republic record as well as my own theories are true, was nothing more then life essence held together by the sheer will of the Force. However, the Force its self was his weakness. He delved so far into it the Force, and used it on his body so much that he needed strong waves of it in order to keep his body from deteriorating into nothing by its power.

Sion, the Lord of Pain, was nearly the same as Nihilius, in that he was able to keep his body together through sheer will of the force. He had the ability to feed on the hatred and pain of others by way of the dark side and rapidly and drastically heal his body, this made him immortal. Through the same process, as well as feeding on his own hatred, he was bale to keep his body held together, no matter how many times the bones were broken, no mater how many times he was cut down, he always rose again. He could have been great...but he could not take his own pain, the pain he inflicted upon himself. He gave into it, eventually, and died. He was arrogant, but with a good reason, but his ultimate weakness over shadowed all of this."

Aryx calmed himself, realizing that once again he was becoming hot headed over the subject. He had studied these ancient Sith Lords for no more then three years and he already had adamant feelings about them. He looked to the table and the un-powered data pad, perhaps his arrogance was showing again...he sighed once more, looking to his apprentice as he pulled his hand into the long sleeves of his hiroka.

"Regardless of their history and past, apprentice, only Bane can teach us something, the rest are irrelevant. Pawns of the Force, used only to extend the Sith lineage. For now, apprentice, I want you to study only the ways of the force and the saber. I am glad that you took it upon your self to study our history, for that I am proud. For that, you have earned a day of rest. The next day we begin your saber training."

With that, Aryx raised a hand and waved Peppa off. Aryx now had much to consider, he also felt the fading presence of Luke. He was sure that by now his apprentice could feel it to. Where was the empower going at this time?

Nihillus grabbd my attention merely because records state that he could kill life simply with his voice. THe ability to sever life from entire planets if he wishes so-that seem to have had struck in my mind. Tho' I have always felt-Bane was the most respectable if anything. He could defend himself against a thought bomb.

True what Peppa was showing was information-tho' he knew it was pale in comparison to his master. His master could probably pwn his a** in any sort of 'sith trivia' game.

Sighing he'd look up to his master with slight resent. He had came here in hopes of training-not rest.

I am eager to begin training but if you wish it, I will go practice swordsmenship on my own.

Peppa would than bow himself lowly before standing. He'd than look around the durasteel room while he ignored the presence of Luke. He was unimportant to him really. Arynx was his Master while Luke was apparantly Arynx's.....friend to some sort of degree.

Wether it be low or high he didn't know.

He'd than frown as he turned for the door. They slid upon him nearing-alowing him passage towards his room which he would begin slowly walking too. Obvisouly lost in thought more than anything.

His bounty hunters intuition had kicked in. It had been so long since he felt this way. Excitement, anticipation, as well as a notion that something was going to happen, soon. This feeling was only made stronger by the constant fluxing and pulsations in the Force. It ebbed and waved more then usual.

Aryx had spent the last three hours training. Rather, he spent the last three hours attempting to redevelop a forgotten art. So far, he only managed to master the basics. This was proving rather difficult. Wielding a saber through the Force was far different then simply throwing it and holding it out.

The style had no name, once he mastered it he would give it one. It encompassed using a saber in each hand, and one or more sabers wielded through the force. It was proving extremely difficult, ones mind had to literally be in two places at once. One to concentrate on the sabers in hand, the other on the saber wielded through the force.

The remotes that circled around him were relentless. Their stun lasers sprayed from their emitters like rain. His sabers were both arching red blurs in every direction, deflecting the beams back away and out into the bay air to dissipate just before hitting the hull.

A third newly built saber, basic crystals, hovered about out side the ring of remotes, randomly cutting away at the spherical droids. So far, all of its movements had been purely reflexive. Aryx would see the droid through the force, and with out thinking, would slash it down. It continued like this for several more hours until every remote the docking bay had to offer was reduced to scrap metal.

He collapsed to his knees and fell backward onto his bottom, his sabers extinguishing their blades as he did. The free floating saber fell to the bay floor and clattered for a moment before silencing. He placed the sabers in his hands in his sleeves and raised his right arm to call the third two him. He had just enough strength to call it to him. With a snap it left the floor and shot into his palm where he then placed it on his belt.

He sat on the floor a moment longer, completely exhausted, barely enough strength left to stand. He was glad he was in the bay that held his ship. He staggered up the rear ramp and into the singly room that contained the bunk, cockpit, and all. He slowly set himself down on the thing mattress of his bed and let himself fall to rest.

A holomessage suddenly opened itself on Luke's holotransmitter, it was not clear where it came from, or how it came there, but it was there

"You don't know me, I do know you. I am Tui, agent of the Teiravan Alliance, a faction in deep space willing to throw over the republic, like you. And we have a proposal for that... Do not ask how I found you, I have my connections under a certain group of force users.... All I ask is that I would like you, and some representatives of the imperial faction, to come to Coruscant.

Around Coruscant, a ball will float, it is made by Anzati. It's safe, neutral, weaponless, but as strong as the sun crusher, and has a good defense system inside, riots are impossible. The ball is made for diplomacy only...and when you get there, so will several people from our faction, and some republicans... if you want to tell them to retreat, that will be the perfect occasion.. we will do the same. May they not listen, we are willing to ally with you. I will see you there"

[[ok, this guy has been approved for quite some time and I'm going to use him now. Though I still need the anwser from 'DJO' owners on my request for his rank to above padawan at least (not really high, like low knight, I'm not crazy). His profile is on the 12 page of the profiles, 8th post from the top.]]

A black dark jedi fighter with red high lights came out of hyper space near the dark tide and a message came out immediately from it. "My name is Tazk Obscura, I'm come as a dark jedi seeking to ally myself with the immperial factions, I believe this is the ship that has been made into your academy is it not? Can I dock in one of your hangers?"

[[see you soon then]]

((I'm taking control of Volt because he has been gone for soooooooooo long gonk ))

Volt nodded to Luke, walking past him and along the hanger bay to his ship. Luke quickly followed, standing as the loading ramp lowered. Side by side, both walked up the ramp and into the ship, the ramp closing behind them. Volt sat in the pilot's seat and gently lifted the ship off the ground, manuvering it carefully out of the hanger. With a sudden burst, the ship cleared the bay, flying well away from the Imperial Fleet. It then slowed for a few seconds before it jumped into hyperspace, inabound for Coruscant.

Welcome Mr. Obscura, a voice said over the radio. I hope you can make yourself at home, we can always use another force user on our side.

"Whatever," Tazk muttered to himself as he turned off his com and piloted his fighter into the opening hanger bay. Once inside he got out to a see two storm troopers approaching his fighter. "We're here to inspect the fighter for anything strange," one of them said, "first time thing, strander procedure."

"Touch it and die," Tazk said. "What?" the ST said. Tazk laughed and said, "I'm just screwing with you." Then he looked at the STs again and said, "Seriously though, don't touch my ship or my finger might slip," he said showing his now enlarged claw on his pointer finger, a feint heat shimmer coming off it as he walked past the two troopers. he heard one of them say, "Deffiniately a dark jedi, he's got that attitude to him." "Idiots," Tazk muttered as he took the hood of his cloak off and entered a large area with training equipment in it.

He walked along the wall of the room with many memories scanning through his head. He had already been trained to an extent by his former master. But that was before he found his master to have been weak of conviction and killed him while his back was turned and he was distracted by the man he had spared, simply because he was his brother.

Once he had made his way to a more secluded part of the training area, he called over many stun droids with the force and activated them. He also ignited his saber, flipping it in his hands and gripping it as he ignited the crimson beam, making three struts also flip out (see picture in profile). He began to dodge and block bolts as he used his very agressive and strong take on form V. I might as well train until I can find an actually knight or master to finish my training with. Tazk thought this while he continued his training. He sliced one droid in half with his heated claw as he reflected a bolt into another. Tazk had always favored the saber to the force powers with his old master, from what he was taught at least. He found the saber had a much more personal, more gritty, man to man feel when he fought with it. He prefered that, it was more like his days fighting in the tribals wars on his home planet. And he would end his battles as a dark jedi the same way he did as a champion tribe zealot, standing on top of the bodies of his foes, soaked in their blood and holding his head and weapon high.

Yes, he thought as he mustered some of his force to make a small fork of lighting come from one of his fingers and shock a droid. One of the few force powers he knew how to do, and not very profitiantly at that. I will become much better.

((Liz, the only Jedi here are you, my self, Luke, Volt, Volt's apprentice, Peppa, and Merisa (krome_devil) there are no NPC hopefuls and knights. However, right now, volt and luke are away.))

The woman had spoken to him once again. The speech had been the same. Find the book, make the Sith as strong as they once were, and destroy the Jedi. Aryx had heard it a dozen times now, and it was getting old. He dared not voice his annoyance to the woman, though. With each conversation he acquired a better feel of the extent of her power. He was beginning to wonder if she was an ancient force spirit from during the Golden Age its self. Possible, but improbable. He cast it form his mind when he felt a new, yet extremely weak presence arrive on board the academy ship.

He cast his legs over the side of his bunk and stood up, he stretched and yawned and scratched an itch on the back of his neck. He wondered how long it had been since he had a shower. He shrugged, deciding now was as good as any. He would let the new arrival do a bit of exploring before greeting him. He stripped down to his birth day suit and pulled a long rod that was inset in a socket shaped like it s out line in the hull of the ship. He flipped a switch on its handle, it began to glow with a white iridescence and hum slightly. He sighed as he moved the sonic shower rod over every square inch of his body, a feeling of freshness over coming him once done. He looked at him self on a reflective surface that folded out of the hull next to the rod. His skin was slowly starting to pale again, making the scars that ran diagonally down the right side of face, neck, and the rest of his body more deigned. He looked at his chest and stomach, flat saved for the muscles. Well defined and as hard as rocks. His hair was also returning to its original snow white. Korriban was not nice to me...no wonder the Dark Jedi chose to stay there. Any one who could not survive the very environment was not fit to call them selves Sith.

He pulled his cloths back on, putting each peace on his body with care, sure to make himself look perfect. He looked to his robe. Why bother with formality? The presence he felt told him he was not yet worthy of the honor. He didn't bother with it. He called his three sabers to him through the Force. Each one slowly floated to his waist and clasped onto the loops tethered on his belt. Once more he turned to his reflection, pushing a button on the hull and extending the mirrored surface down to the floor so he could look at himself in entirety. His out fit, black dew-back leather hiroka, black fabric under shirt, and loose fitting black fabric pants tucked into strong synthetic material boots with duro steel sols. Combined with his pale skin and his whiting hair it gave him the appearance of a wraith. His opponents fear of his very appearance gave him an advantage. The lesser minded would cower and surrender before he even had to ignite his saber. He gave him self a stern "humph" and left the ship, in search of Tazk.

Along the way he was confronted by a soldier. Aryx was informed that the new visitor had not allowed the routine ship inspection. Aryx nodded to him. "I'll inform him that it's mandatory, if he does not comply then you have permission to destroy his ship." It did not take long to find Tazk. He was arrogant and did not bother to conceal his presence. He found him in one of the training rooms, combating several of the jousting droids. He stood in the thresh hold of the door way, crossing his arms and watching him carefully. His movements were slow and sloppy, it would take time to train this one.

Aryx waited for Tazk to finish before announcing his presence. "I have been informed that you did not comply with a routine, as well as mandatory ship inspection." Tazk would find an Echani, half his faced covered in scars, staring at him with a blank and emotionless look. Tazk would also find that Aryx, too, did not bother to conceal himself. Aryx's own force prowess completely dwarfed that of Tazk, making the creature seem insignificant in his presence. Aryx wanted Tazk to know, right off, that he would have little to no chance bestign him in combat. "A second chance, and consider it a one time offer, has been given to you. Comply with it or your ship will be reduced to ash."

Fleet Admiral Skkou Runtre liked to consider herself a well-rounded personality. A product of some of the finest militaristic training available, she had learned much in her childhood. If there was, howevever, one thing she was yet to master, it was the art of patience.

Snapping her fingers to turn on one of the audio-activated droids, she mumbled out a few orders, ending with "Why does this damn ship have to be so Sith-spawned-quiet?"

The droid merely looked at her with its glowing optical sensors, and the admiral smirked back at its inability to understand her laced words. It was probably to her disadvantage to have programmed this particular model to be "family friendly", especially in a Naval environment. It had been part of her "temperence reform movement" for herself... a failed attempt at moral self-improvement.

Without so much as looking back at the droid, which was clanking off to do whatever she had previously told it to (they weren't important instructions anyway), she tapped her comlink and spoke to the first comm officer the frequency could find. "If you would be so kind, please, to locate His Excellency for me, I'd be much obliged."

The officer's response was muffled, and Skkou barely listened to the reply. This particular flagship was dead empty; there seemed to be no one around. Vaguely, she toyed with the idea of returning to her own precious star destroyer, ultimately deciding against it, for now. "Would you repeat that, Midshipman? I wasn't listening," she mumbled back into the comlink.
