It didn't surprise Moira in the least to see a rabbit attacking some poor man's pants. It was a very... excitable rabbit, wasn't it? Moira smiled, and it almost died when she realized that, yes, she was being talked to. First by a woman she hadn't met yet, a new recruit no doubt, and then...
"Hello, Estrelas." Moira's grin brightened at the familiar face, and she walked over cautiously, arms wrapped around her waist. "And Eponine." She greeted, smiling at her somewhat more... politely? Eponine did seem the type to shy away, after all. Then she looked at the others. "I don't think I've met any of you." She said sheepishly, offering a meek grin.
"I'm Moira." She smiled at them, and eyed Johannes sheepishly, moreso eying his poor pants. "So she still does that, Estrelas?" Moira looked over at her, smiling sheepishly.

Mokoyis laughed, a rather dusty sound compared to her giggles, when the new man kissed her hand "I suppose I have several names. My name I was given when I was born was neither of those. Them priests named me Sara when official role was taken after the treaty were signed. I was given the name Mokoyis after I became a woman. I give both choices to come as my language can be difficult to pronounce." Her eyes gleamed mischeviously, "I must admit I have the same problem with your name Johannes."
She was still entranced by the frothing rabbit, making it hard to concentrate on the conversation around her. Angel would also make an interesting conversant later on she decided.
She was not surprised when the second stranger aproached and called Estrelas by name, the woman certainly got around. She smiled at the newcomer wondering, if perhaps, she should have just put on a name tag. "Hello Moira, I am Mokoyis," she decided that the introductions were getting tiresome and gave only her Blackfoot name.

Johannes didn't know what to say, amidst the begging of Estrelas to assure everyone that Angel was a good rabbit, Lokiari's amusement and Moira's....acknowledgement?
"Well....at least the rabbit doesn't seem to mind the cold." That was a pitiful response, but Johannes was speechless otherwise. He had many things to say about the rabbit, but he did not want to demean its owner, so he stayed quiet and dealt with it, as much as he could.
"Yes, I'm quite....pleased to see her, Ms. Alvares." He couldn't help sounding annoyed. "Has the rabbit ever "greeted" so effervescently someone else, like Ms. Lokiari here or your shy friend?" He said this last comment positively as to not sound any more rough than his previous one, and waved back at her.
"Ah, I see." "I do not mind them calling you either one, since both seem easy to pronounce, personally." "I will call Mokoyis, but please forgive me if I forget and call you Sara instead." He smiled nervously, since he had never heard such a thing like that before. "Ah, my family has that problem too, so they call me Juan." He repeated it again slowly, as to show the exact pronunciation, both 'Johannes' and 'Juan.' "If nothing else, you can just call me John. That's the closest equivalent that I can think of in English, at least."
"Ms. Moira, eh?" "I'm very pleased to meet you, I am Johannes." He bowed since the rabbit's bite wouldn't let him move further than he had planned.

Laughing out of entertainment at Estrelas' pleas for everyone to like the rabbit and the rabbit's vicious attack on Johannes' pants, Lokiari wiped away a fake tear at the laundry list of men. Grinning so hard it was a wonder her face didn't start to ache. Deciding that perhaps, even with the massive gathering they were beginning to have, taking a walk in the garden tonight hadn't been such a bad plan after all. Pleased to see lotus so active and all the folks coming out of the woodworks, Lokiari knew that eventually, she'd make some friends. Regretting briefly how long she had been missing, at the sight of the old friendships renewed.
Frowning in thought as Eponine trembled and attempted to hide, Lokiari wondered just what had made the girl so afraid of people. Her anxiety was abnormal, and Lokiari determined to find out just why she was how she was. Making a mental note to herself to personally see to anyone that had abused the poor girl, if that turned out to be the reason why she was so weary of everyone.
Nodding at the new girl who had approached them, Lokiari gave her a friendly wave, "The name is Lokiari. A pleasure to meet you!" Yet another person who seemed weary in the presence of others. Sighing, Lokiari concluded to have a talk with this Moira, as well. Forgoing her now traditional flamboyant bow due to how massive the gathering was growing.
Well, on the bright side. At least one of those here won't think I'm completely nuts.
A man with raven hair and brilliant blue eyes had himself wrapped quite cozily in a simple dark grey parka and easy black slacks. Strolling through the gardens whistling a merry tune, he reflected over the last meetings he'd had here in the gardens. Wishing he might run into the beautiful Moira, or perhaps one of those other pretty lasses if she wasn't to be found. Though, really, he mostly just wanted to see Moira once more. Any absence from her was quickly becoming 'too long'.
Spying several people gathered ahead, the cocky Irishman quickly headed in their direction. Easily slipping into the group, and turning a dazzling smile on all present. A smile that only grew more as he caught sight of Moira. Raising one hand in friendly wave at those he hadn't met before, he gave a general introduction of himself. "The name's Shane. Pleasure to meet you new folks."
Quickly sidling up to Moira, he gave her a pleasant smile before greeting her in a low voice, "Good to see you again, lass." He raised his hand in a wave to Eponine once more. "Nice to see you again! Been far too long!"

Estrelas looked on patronizingly as Johannes kissed Mokoyis's hand, as if she were an elder woman making sure her grandson had the right impression. Meanwhile, Angel snorted at Johanne as if to say 'No duh,' then resumed her assault on his trousers.
Eponine, meanwhile, began to open her mouth to greet Moira back. She was actually glad to see the Italian- at least they had met before, back at the Halloween... Fiasco? The other woman seemed friendly enough. However, she noticed a frown her way, from Lokiari. Although she did not seem to be frowning directly at her, the poor robot shuddered and tugged Estrelas back in front of her, poking a hand out from behind for a shy little wave.
"Meez Moira, Meez Moira you not seen in ages!" Estrelas crowed, taking Eponine by the arm to to her dismay, dragging her out in the open. "You and Eponinny meet before, you has! You be good lately? Ah ate Italy food last week you know, a thing called Spogotti? It noodles with tomato you know. Very good!" She beamed as if presented with an award. "And well... Yes, Angel ees still very happy to see so many people!" she exclaimed beseechingly. "She never hurt a fly... Maybe a dog or a fox, but not a fly!"
Before she could stop herself, Eponine bumped out from behind and waved gleefully to Shane. She had a spot in her heart for the first LOTUS member (aside from Wraith Sian) that she had met and actually was very delighted to see him, surprising herself. "Sha- oops..." She quickly clapped her hands and their tattered sleeves over her mouth, then bashfully grinned. "It's really nice to see you again!" She eyed Angel, who was torn between continuing her rampage on Johannes or targetting Shane anew. "....Have you met...." Oh. This was very strange, to be introducing someone. After a second of though, Eponine realized she had never done this before. She had hoped that Estrelas would sieze on the opportunity to introduce herself and save Eponine the duty, but the Portuguese was grinning silently, clearly waiting for Eponine's introduction. "This... ....Well.... Ummm... ....Oh, this is..."
Estrelas blinked expectantly, still grinning, although the smile was glazed over in confusion.
Eponine ignored her circuits fizzing madly. "This... Shane, this....."
A frown showed behind Estrelas's brow.
"This..."
Estrelas turned to Eponine and whispered, "My name is Estrelas. Es-Tre.Las."
"I didn't forget your name! It's just that-" Eponine began to wail desperately.

Moira smiled at the little wave from Eponine, and returned it, grinning at Estrelas after. "Spaghetti?" She nodded, amused. "It's a very simple thing to make." Her eyes danced with amusement. "It's nice to see Angel's still a social rabbit." She laughed a little, and her attention drifted from one of them right to the next.
She grinned at Lokiari, and Johannes, simply nodding politely. Her attention drifted to Shane when the Irishman popped up, and she smirked when he sidled over to her quickly, muttering at him in Italian. Sure, he wouldn't understand it, but that was okay. It was still said in that incredibly familiar teasing tone. "State inseguendolo, ragazzo?" ((Translation: Are you stalking me, boy?)) She looked back at the group and grinned sheepishly when she realized that Angel looked ready to target Shane in favor of his pants. Poor Shane.

Mokoyis tried to hide her surprise at the appearance of yet another LOTUS member. She hadn't known things had gotten so much bigger! She listened to his own introduction and offered her own, "Hello Shane, I am called Mokoyis." His accent made her smile, it was one she had heard often back home.
She turned back to Johannes, "I think I have finally got it Johannes" She said it slowly, but managed to pronounce it correctly. "And I answer just as readily to Sara. Why did your family call you that if they can not say it properly?"

Surprised once again by the new arrival, and yet relieved at the fact that he wasn't the only male present now, Johannes greeted Shane back and held out his hand: "Nice to meet you as well, Shane." "I am Johannes."
Oblivious to what Angel was doing anymore (in other words, "forgot"), he was about ready to keep chatting with Mokoyis until she said a nail; "Why did your family call you that if they can not say it properly?"
Shoot.
"Um, well, that's....rather a long story." He didn't know whether she should tell the truth to her since he'd only just met her, but at the same time, she was a fellow member of LOTUS. He had to trust her. But not for now. "It's also not a good time for me to talk about that topic, so I'm sorry, but if perhaps I could tell you about it another day...."

The nearly never ending smile on Lokiari's face began to grow thin and worn as another man joined the group, and she realized this meeting was growing a bit far out of her reach. She was surrounded by new people, and while Lokiari enjoyed delving deep into a single person at a time, running into numerous was a little more than she comfortably handle.
Gently filing the names everyone gave in her mind, she made note to find each of these people on their own later in order to better get to know the new staff at Lotus. Wouldn't work well to be working on a regular basis with strangers - there would be no bond to convince them to work diligently at her side with little work on her part, and that simply would not work for Lokiari.
An eyebrow rose as she noted Eponine's distress at Shane's arrival, she added that to her list of mental notes about each person. She would have to investigate just why there was discomfort on Eponine's part with the Irish man's appearance.
Switching her weight from foot to foot lightly, she maintained the smile on her face and clever twinkle in her eye as she gave the new man a welcoming nod. Repeating her name over and over with each new person had grown tiresome, and with how he and Moira had greeted one another, she felt that if she found Moira once more, she was sure to locate this newcomer. The bond of familiarity between the two seemed strong, and this intrigued her. Even if the little Italian had muttered something at him in his native tongue that she was sure he hadn't understood, the teasing tone spoke volumes.
Noting that Johannes and Mokoyis seemed to becoming acquainted, Lokiari allowed herself to focus on the foursome in front of her. An interesting, if a bit unusual group though it was. Feeling more than a little out of place, Lokiari quietly excused herself, taking the opportunity while everyone else was getting to know each other to slip out and continue on the path down the gardens. She was sure she'd run into them all at a later time, and large group gatherings weren't really her thing, though she might try her hardest to act as though they were.

The Irishman's eyes twinkled as he noted with amusement that Angel was, at least for the time being, attacking Johannes' pants and not his own. That rabbit could surely inspire many a man to purchase extra, additional pairs of pants...just in case one should run into the little thing. In a way, the animal was almost cute - though he felt slightly weary that, at any moment, it might turn on his own, freshly washed pants.
Noting Eponine's greeting, Shane flashed her a warm, gentle smile. He was mildly surprised that the flightly lass was surrounded by so many people, and, had Moira not stood so close to him, he may have been tempted to envelope her in a giant hug of friendship. He was proud of her for getting out and meeting new friends, even if he did suspect that Estrelas had more drug the poor lass out than she'd come out of her own free will. After all, even in his short meeting with Eponine, he'd guessed she wasn't the sort to purposefully run into a group of strangers.
Waving gently in Estrelas' direction, he gave a small, charming half bow in acknowledgment of her presence, throwing in a pleasing grin as he did so, "A pleasure to meet you, Estrelas." A sideways glance at the rabbit made him side step just a little as he noted her glancing at his own clothing.
Returning his attention to the ever lovely Moira, he raised a quizzical eyebrow at her teasing Italian, before muttering to himself about how he couldn't possibly be expected to even begin to decipher what she said. Instead, settling to simply clasp her on the back in what everyone might think was a mere friend greeting friend, he threw her a disarming grin and a sly wink before glancing around the crowd once more.
So many people he hadn't spoken to in so long - and some he'd never even met before. Perhaps hiding in his room for such a long time hadn't been the wisest of choices...
