"Oh, don't worry, I will!" he called back, charging towards her and leaping over the small stream. He made it three-fourths the way across before landing in the water with a splash. "Gaaah..." he said, fully soaked and dripping wet.

Kirsa's face held a shocked expression as she watched Vana leap across the stream. Expecting him to make it across, she began to run once more, but upon hearing his splash she stopped and turned around. She walked over to the stream and crouched down to stick her nose close to the water.
"Vana! You silly! Are you ok?" she giggled.

"Grrr..." He let out a playful growl and tackled her, shaking his fur out so that he soaked Kirsa as well.

"Oh...you!" She wriggled out from under him and then retaliated, tackling him back into the stream. She also fell in the water and began splashing around.

Vana shook his mane out again as soon as he was able to sit up after being pushed back into the stream, "Oh, you might have to pay for that!" He growled playfully and splashed a wave of water at her, using it as cover and quickly sliding behind her to dangle his dripping wet tail in front of her face.

"Eeeeek!" she squealed as she shielded her eyes from the water. As she saw Vana's tail dangling in front of her face she got the idea to grab hold of it, so she did. She grabbed his tail in between her teeth and began shaking her head, giggling and squealing. With his tail still between her teeth she tried to say, "You silly lion!"

Sorry!!! I know, I disappeared from the guild! I'll try not to do that again! gonk
Vana jumped as his tail was bitten, unused to it being used as a chewtoy. "Hey! You silly... Uh... Cherry!" he growled playfully, "Give me back my tail!" He rolled over and in front of her, looking up at her with big pleady eyes, "Whatever shall I do without it? I'll-I'll just be a mane and a roar!" He laughed and heartily roared up at her to prove his point.

She giggled at him. "But you will still be my Vana! The one and only! And I love your roar." She nuzzled up against him lovingly. "But I guess you can have your tail back, if it's that important to you." ^_^
((Lol, it's ok Neko! This one is old anyway, weren't they teens when we started this one? Or kits? I don't remember lol.))

"And I shall be glad to be your Vana," he said, gratefully flicking his now free tail, "And I shall roar for you whenever you wish it." He nuzzled her back and sighed happily.

She nuzzled him back, happy to have someone to call hers. Happy to have someone to share her happiness with. Vana was someone she could really be herself around, and she liked that.
"Vana, let's stay together forever! Okay?"

"Okie!" Vana replied with vigor, holding his head high, "Forever and ever!" His happiness threatened to burst within his chest as he puffed it out and let a wholehearted roar burst from his throat. Grinning joyously, he wriggled a little kit-like, then bounded into the air and dashed around the clearing, laughing and looking back at Kirsa.

Kirsa laughed. He was always so full of vigor and energy! She watched him for a moment as he dashed around, and then after a moment she took off running after him. "Don't think you can get away now!"

Vana laughed and flicked his tail back at her, "I wouldn't dream of it!" He liked to daydream a lot, and not one of those dreams could involve him getting away from Kirsa without ending up as a nightmare.

"Good!" she called as she neared him. Then when she was close enough, POUNCE! She landed on top of him, sending the two of them rolling, just like they had done when they were kits. Somehow their games of tag always seemed to end up this way.
