"Yes," said Prime, "I say a stake out would be best for now. In an hour or two we will attack those guards and make our move."
"This castle is ancient, as are most in the region," said Santegio. "It was most likely built by the dwarfs as a gift to there governor sent by the Republic before the empire. There will more then likely be a second draw bridge in the rear for casual access. I'd think that to be the best stealth entrance."
"You are proving very helpful, master dwarf," said Prime. "Let us hope they are accepting guest tonight and have the bridge down. Otherwise I hope you are a good swimmer."
"I can swim Lord Prime," he replied, "but let's hope that the favored pets of the dwarfs are no longer in use."
"What pets?!" asked Saya.
"Gators, milady."

"Actually this castle is older even than that, I read a book about this worlds history, sevral books in fact, this particular castle was constructed during the dark ages, before dwarves humans and most other humanoids were allied with each other, human around this region took to having dwarf slaves, also, if all else fails, theres a sewage tunnel that leads into the city. The path would be. . well...stinky, but it's nothing we couldn't han-" as he was saying that some imperial gaurds nearby shouted "Over here!" dreccas wasn't talking loud, nor was he even upwind from the castle "What's going on he asked, but his answer was made for him.
"Johnen, Tonight the other six are supposed to meet us deep in the woods, the hunt will start then!" he said with a slight laugh, unfortunately they were headed straight for dreccas' small group "Move" he commanded in a hushed yell. as he himself moved away enough to avoid being detected.

Johnen nodded "Alright sam, no need to rush ahead" he said to his boyish companion "Darkovic You shouldn't lag behind either" he said to his two mis-matched body gaurds "This hunt shouldn't be taken lightly, it's already taken out eight soldiers of the empire, three of them masters" he said, he knew his friends knew that, but he was merely trying to remind them.
"Yes milord" said darkovic as he caught up. "I don't think the creature is near, perhaps we should check deep within the woods?" he said, most attacks had been on scouting parties seaching the woods.
"I say we just keep looking till we find the beasty!" said sam. as he ran back, away from dreccas and his group to his leader. "No matter what happens we'll take it down! What's it matter when we find it? Besides, there are six other soldiers out there lookin for it. We should find it in no time" he said with a grin
"I think young sam is right" said johnen as he began walking again "The creature deposits the corpses at out castle gate, so there's no telling where the killings take place.. But still i'm worried" he said, as they entered the bushes, walking directly in-between dreccas and the other 4 in his group.

Prime looked at Dreccas with slight delight. When opportunity presents itself, don't let it pass you by. He however would follow the moves of the leader, and not expose themselves further without his approval.
At this point Saya was frightened beyond composure. She was trying her hardest to remain quite.
The dwarf slowly loosened his ax from his side and prepared to fight.

An arrow was quickly loaded, but Edward waited for Dreccas before actually pulling back on the string. If they were going to strike it would best be now while they still had the element of surprise.

Dreccas, feeling everybody's anticipation, without a word, Lunged out at the seemingly leader of the imperial troops there. Sending the obvious message to attack!

Johnen, with obvious surprise blindly raised his sword, hoping for a succesful defense the blade itself was big, but there were sevral gaps in his defense he is hit with a crushing blow, damaging him alot "Sam! Darkovic! On your gaurd!" he shouted as he attempted to steady himself

"Yes Mi'lord!" shouted darkovic as him and sam stood in front of their captain "Who are you?! Show yourself!! he shotued looking towards the tree's as his attacker had dissappeared the second he made contact.
((no hope for defense! lvl 5 vs lvl 7 lol >.<))

Prime quickly pulled his weapon and lunged at them.
Merius Lvl. 4 weapon. Sawn's rage, lvl. 8 attack (add 10 to roll).
Prime was thrown off balance. The attack was weak. (32)

It seemed as though the Sawn was making an assault on the one who had just entered so it was his assumption that he should make an attempt on the only one (Sam) that had not been attacked.
(Bow of Huang Zhong lvl. 4, ranged attack)
A fairly weak shot, but it had the potential to do some damage should it connect.

Sam Defended himself, he saw the attack as it was coming, but he wasn't sure that he would manage to block the arrow, they never were his specialty, as luck would have it, he managed to block it, somwhat; it grazed off his sword, and went into his arm.

Darkovic raised a defense, not the best he could've done in his earlier days, but hopfully enough to suffice. "Sam! Take the young lord away from here!" he shouted with an annoyed growl at the attackers.
