"Ehehehe, lotus lasers?! Thats gotta be the funniest attack name I've heard since-" he then reached the realization that he was going to be in trouble soon. Two more chains uncoiled from his waist and two more from his head for a total of 6. He used 2 to coil round bushimarus sword to avoid having his foot stabbed and the remaining 4 wrapped themselves into a rough sheald around Kai which managed to deflect the brunt of the lasers, but still left Kai taking some damage. "Tch, damn flowers, but It ain't going to be that easy buster!" Kai shouted at Bushimaru, the chains that defended him uncoiling, save for the ones around Bushimarus sword. Kais hand snapped around as he waisted little time in opening up on Bushimaru with rounds from his hand gun.

Kai staggered back from the attack, his chains letting go of Bushimarus blade. His breathing became labored and his legs unsteady as if he had just run a marathon twice. He coughed up some blood onto the sand, though was still standing. "What....what the hell was that?!" he said in-between coughs "damnit....I really hate all you stupid samurais" he continued, glancing behind him, as if judging a distance, then leaping back, gaining back his balance a little bit. "Haven't you heard, the age of the samurai is over!" He suddenly dug his hands into the sand beside him and pulled out 2 medium sized machine-guns, also sporting the Black Kat .Ind insignia on the side and the words 'Black Kat Industries model-1466 scoped assault rifle'



"Is he even allowed to do that?" asked Terror.



"Hey, the only rule is that you can't get help from someone else...since he planted those weapons there himself, it's totally legal....I love it" Seedle replied with one of his malicious grins.

"I told you I would win by any means, and I always come prepared to my battles!" Kai said. It was clear he was still feeling the effects of Bushimarus attack, but Kai had been through countless battles and injures and was enduring his condition pretty well. He let loose a hail of bullets at Bushimaru with his 2 assault rifles with pinpoint accuracy, the more destructive rounds would likely be harder for Bushimaru to deflect. Kai started moving back to put some more distance between them. His chains remained seemingly lifeless, probably being saved to counter attack if Bushimaru tried anything.

Kai winced at the sudden outburst and took some steps back, tossing his assault rifles to the side. He wasn't sure exactly what was in that sword, he was generally bad and sensing things, but even if he couldn't tell much that way, a roar that could stop bullets was never a good sign.

He recomposed himself somewhat, frowning a bit at Bushimaru "Theres no use for all that swords and honor crap on the battlefield nowadays Mr feudal. I was once a soldier up there in the mortal world....In war, you gotta do what it takes to win, you can't expect people to treat ya fair just because you do the same, thats a lesson I'll make you remember" he said, becoming deathly serious if only for that instant.

Kai grinned and dug a heal into the sand, using it to flip up a little lid hidden in it. Under it was a red button, which he brought his heal down upon causing a large metal contraption to emerge from the sand in front of him. As the sand slid off it's surface it was revealed to be some sort of heavily armored turret, sporting a couple of large miniguns on either side of it. The markings beside the Black Kat logo read 'Black Kat Industries automated strategic Anti Personnel Turret o_O'. It activated and turned towards Bushimaru, spinning up it's miniguns and sending a wave of high velocity armor piercing rounds towards Bushimaru.

Behined the cover of the large turret, Kai felt a little more safe, and after coughing a little more blood from Bushimarus previous attack he dug all 6 of his chains into the ground, snaking them though the earth below. If Bushimaru made an attempt on his turret, then his plan was to counter-attack from below with surprise stabbing attacks.

"You gotta be freakin' kidding me...he deflected most of those with a freaking sword?" Kai muttered to himself amidst the rapid clicks as the turrets barrels kept spinning away but with no more ammo to burn. He listened to Bushimarus words, but before he could reply he found himself looking up at a rather large demon. "W-what the hell....Byakuya....what in the name of Pandemonium are you doing here? Or for that matter taking orders from that honor obsessed relic?....tch" he said, using his chains he had dug into the ground to lift himself quickly upwards, dodging Byakuyas swipe. Sand streamed back down to the ground from the rocket launcher he had just retrieved from it, the words 'Black Kat industries heat seeking surface to surface rocket launcher' engraved into it's metal exterior.

He certainly wasn't keen on the idea of taking on 2 Lieutenant level foes at once, even with the edge his little 'cheatings' gave him. He figured though that if he took down Bushimaru, then Byakuya would go too, since he seemed to come from Bushimarus sword somehow. "We'll see who's trash....you wont be able to block this with your butter knife!" he addressed Bushimaru, locking onto him quickly with the launchers scope and sending a hefty missile speeding towards him. He dropped the launcher immediately after firing as he turned his attention back to Byakuya. He used his chains to send himself flying through the air away from Byakuya to try and avoid his deadly claws.

"s**t.." 2 of Kais chains flew out in mid air, catching a hold of a large red stalactite. Kai used this with his momentum to swing around in a wide arc to try and avoid Byakuyas attacks, but grimaced as he was still caught by a few glancing blows. As he whisked around though he reached both hands into pouches on the back of his belt, drawing out a couple of grenades. He quickly pulled the pins with his teeth and lobbed them squarely towards Byakuyas gaping mouth.

Without waiting to see the result, catapaulted himself across the sky once more, skidding to a halt and looking over towards Bushimaru "He's still standing after taking a friggin' rocket? What the hell is with this loony samurai" he said to himself.

He raised his hands towards Bushimaru, sending his chains speeding towards him with their sharp spear-tips at the ready. If Bushimaru dodged their pointy ends, Kai could just twist the chains round to attempt to coil round Bushimaru instead.

Kai didn't have a chance to comment "what the-" he caught sight of Bushimarus shadow behind him. He didn't have enough time to reel his chains in so he instinctively dove both his hands into his officers coat, reaching for a couple of large pouches within it and drawing out 2 metal parts. That was as far as he got though, before being stabbed right through by Bushimarus sword. Though Kais reactions were lightning fast, his body wasn't able to keep pace with Bushimarus sudden speed burst "Guh....looks like you had a trick of your own up your sleep eh?...heh, stabbing someone in the back, what happened to all that honor garbage?" He joked, coughing up some more blood. He still hadn't fully recovered from the hit to his internals Bushimaru delivered to him earlier either. "Still not quite good enough though!" Kai gritted his teeth through the pain and brought the components in his hands together. With a quick click and snap, the 2 pieces had been fixed together to make a combat shotgun, reading 'Black Kat Industries special operations combat shotgun' on it's side. He pointed it over his shoulder and let loose a point blank shot, seemingly a last resort to try and make Bushimaru drop before Kais wounds prevented him for continuing the fight.

Kai dropped to the sandy ground, losing quite a bit of blood from his wound. He turned himself over so he was lying on his back, staring up at the redness above "Heh, at least we agree on one thing" Kai snorted, then became more serious "battles have changed since the time when swords commanded the battlefield unopposed. Ive seen no greater horrors in my life then those when I served in human wars. There is no time for honor, there are no introductions, no romanticized duels. You do what you can to survive, cheating, lying, cold-blooded murder, in the end those with honor get killed and you realize that the only thing that matters is kill or be killed. No matter how much people smother battles in honor and good intentions, it just covers up the fact that people are trying to destroy each other" Kai sighed, loosening up a bit, reaching a hand out as if trying to grasp the ceiling "In the end, there ain't no righteous battle, and thats why me an' you are here, cos we just can't get enough of bein' sinners" he smirked. For a moment he seemed lost in a memory.

It seemed that Kai had been finally taken down by Bushimaru, not looking in much of a state to continue fighting.

Kai continued staring at the cavern roof for a bit thinking about Bushimarus words, memories flashed by, a bloodied hand reaching up as if to grab the sun from the sky, a shadow walking off to the horizon. He then snapped back to reality as Bushimaru turned to leave after presumably winning the fight, Cryos was poised to jump in with his usual speech. "well...here I am again" he whispered to himself. Suddenly he brought his hand down hard into the sand, and with a swooshing sound of sand being displaced, revealing the better part of a mobile anti tank gun reading 'Black Kat Industries heavy duty mobile anti-armor gun, caution: High explosive ammunition'. It seemed Kai had one last trick to try and fell Bushimaru.

As Kai reached for the trigger though, he shifted the massive gun slightly, sending a rather large shell whizzing just past Bushimaru, and creating an impressive explosion on the red rock much further on. "Well crap, looks like I missed ya....tch, must be all this blood loss. I suppose it's not a fight to the death anyway right, you'd probably just shrug it of anyhow with your freaky samurai powers. Hey Wolf, get over here and get me somewhere with a beer, I can't feel my legs" Kai grinned, covering up the fact that he had missed on purpose, perhaps something Bushimaru said had gotten through to Kai after all, even if just a little.
