Fukumen bowed with respect at the mercenary's introduction. He'd heard of the man dangerous exploits for years and although his alliance was never clear to anyone, he'd generally done good for the world. Fukumen could sympathize with his reasons. A man never truly had freedom in this world unless he crafted it himself...

"As for speaking privately...I happen to be quite short on time, but if you would I could brief you on our current situation, provided you agree to assist us in the coming mission. I offer lodgings for as long as you'd like. Although I can't guarantee your absolute safety, you'll find no safer ship upon these seas."

"Ah what I would give to be short on time..." Bane's voice trailed off into an incomplete thought, "Good Captain, I am a mercenary. You've given me a place to stay. That's persuasion enough to help you for now. As for my safety, I say again, I am a mercenary. No place is safe. Shall we walk and talk?"

Bane, mostly out of habit took a few steps toward the door and then turned back to Fukumen. He waved one arm out and pointed toward the door before saying, "Lead the way, Captain. This is your ship after all."

The sky grew darker as Jaanii continued rushing towards her goal. Communications with Esperantos were impossible for the young woman, whose shuttle was roughened up with the strong winds. Threatening clouds were pilling up across the horizon and Jaanii feared for her small vessel, who would not resist exposure to lighting or tropical rains. A single drop of rain came crashing down on the frail glass, followed by two, three, ten others, waking the young woman from her slumber.

But it was all worth it, for Jaanii could clearly see it now. Esperantos; its familiar silhouette, posing as a tropical island. The young woman knew, however, what raw power and determination was concealed under the surface, in a sophisticated vessel. She smiled, victorious, as she began her approach.

Walking along the long path, varying vehicles moved about around him. From the hangar, an ever-rising chirp could be heard. I'd better hurry if I'm to catch that lift. He broke into a sprint, which was surprisingly fast considering his age. In less than a minute he came to the hangar's personnel entrance. The hangar's vehicular entrances were all opening in preparation for the upcoming battle. Scores of battle and transport machines lay about idling. They were all, apart from Felix's stealthy group who had more than likely already departed by now, awaiting General Yuki's command. He hopped onto the rail of a helicopter, the spinning blades competing with his own voice.

Surveying the many people while barely able to hear the roar of automobile engines, he shouted, "NOW, WE GO!" The numerous soldiers all cheered in unison some form of grunt or phrase back to him which was louder even than the helicopter's whirling blades. Yuki ducked into the flight mechanism, sliding the door shut on his way in.

The pilot cocked his head backward and said, "It's an honor, General." With that, all machines sped toward the upcoming battlefield. Whether by air or land, Yuki knew that today would be abolutely horrific. Sleep well, my men.

What had just happened in the past few hours was nothing but a blur, with both bliss and misfortune aiding Cyan as he stood in front of a giant iron door. Two of his men were down, but somehow they had managed to fall from non-battle related terms. One had come down with a serious bladder problem - which would have made him a giant problem had he kept trucking. It was more towards Cyan's disappointment that he had to leave the other soldier behind. Cyan waited for no-one. This however, could possibly be his greatest fault. Everything was going too smoothly, there had been no problems at all. And now Cyan was standing in front of, from what he could tell, the core of this stupidly designed base. They had found little to no patrol guards - almost as if the base was teasing him. With one swift hand motion his five men went straight into position and the door collapsed. No-one. the four men next to Cyan took their defensive positions in this great room. Cyan was confident enough in his abilities that he just stood in front of the table in plain sight of the hall. He would know if someone was coming, after all, he had had the best hearing and smelling genetic modifications available to anyone in the world.

"This is ******** ridiculous! Why would we need an octet for a simple mission like this?"

He continued to scour the documents, looking for anything that could definitely be what the general was asking. He wasn't going to fail, no matter the cost. He considered waiting to give the order, but it looked as if the mission was complete. Cyan flicked off the camera surveying the ********, you can't catch us, we're the ******** gingerbread men. Men, turn on the sound, we're leaving without silence if we encounter anyone."

This order was a little uncouth, but Cyan knew his men were itching for some kills. He continued to take his time fumbling through the documents - 100% sure they were safe. After all, five front men and a hidden sniper? There was no need to worry, except if they'd have to wait for their ride home.

Daniels headset hissed into life as he received orders from base. "But sir... my troops are ready... we'll be slaughtered if we let their reinforcements get through... very well. Men, we are withdrawing. We have orders to escort someone called Jaanii to headquarters." He emerged from the sand like a ghost and leapt onto a hover cycle, decocking his rifle and pointing himself outwards on the coast. His men scrambled for vehicles as a small unit emerged. The others would need to wait here. The bike squad screamed across the water to meet up with this person. He closed his helmet up and prepared for the storm.
