Kyumi Atsuki 2 days left until the great beating of the pats..my prediction: Steelers: 10 Patriots:7 The Patriots' defense isn't that good, and the Patriots' offense isn't that bad. The score will be higher, yet just as close. I pick the Steelers in a narrow one. They just can't turn the ball over. They also need to control the clock, something that the Ravens failed to do in the fourth quarter of last week's game.

But it was called before the ball was snapped, and the Ravens called the timeout, because they had the wrong defensive formation. They ended up stopping them, but it was smarter to call a definite timeout in an important game, rather than take a risk with the wrong formation. I looked at the play again, and if the Pats did not QB sneak Brady in on 4th down, and thrown it, they would have easily scored, as the free safety was on the line of scrimmage with one other corner. Also, the Ravens had no clue that they would stop them. It was luck, but not the coaches fault, as they didn't know the outcome of the play before the TO was called. But by clock management, it goes farther than the timeout. The Ravens barely ran McGahee in the 4th quarter, something that he did very effectively in the first 3 quarters. Boller has yet to prove himself in the NFL, so when you're up by four with 3 minutes to play, you don't let him thow it for 3 straight plays! You give it to McGahee for the probable 1st down, and to eat up the clock. Also, just wondering...Why did you turn off the TV right after that timeout blunder...? The Ravens still had a pretty good chance from then on to beat the Patriots. You missed a well-constructed and common Patriots/Brady game-winning drive, and a Boller hail mary at the end caught at the 2 yard line (yet with no time left).

Yep...
Patriots didn't really upset, because they were the favorites to begin with. But that silenced the critics, as a statement game.
Yes, the Patriots may lose, but they are the best team in the NFL at the moment.

Many people of our generation and age were not around in 1972, to see the Miami Dolphins complete perfection. It must have been amazing to experience, for all NFL fans. ...although I would probably root for the Colts/Giants/Cowboys/Packers/Seahawks in the playoffs, I wouldn't mind seeing a team go 19-0. surprised
